The next week or so goes by quickly for Kate.  She has played all kinds of roles, and today is another first.  She is kneeling by the door in too-tight black slex pants.  Her shoes look like all tennis shoes, but they are not.  Her top is like suspenders, except that they have a stair-step hard shape that goes up her chest (one for each breast).  The man that is standing by the door, waiting to finish paying for his item, has his foot up on her “chest”.  His shoe fits the stair shape perfectly, like it was made for that.  Kate has a towel and quickly buffing his shoe with it, as she says, “Quick shine fer ya, governah?”  Her British accent is flawless, even thought Kate could never do one before today.

The man ignores her basically, as he looks down on the hottest “shoe-shineboy” he has ever seen.  He instead addresses the old man behind the counter, “Thanks for the help today.”  The old man nods and replies, “Come again.”  Kate continues to polish the foot on her until he takes it off and walks out the door.  She starts to say something, but with the sound of the closing door, her programming returns her to standby mode.

As the gentleman opens the door to his car, he pulls out his cellphone.  Hitting the quick dial, he throws the bag in the passenger seat.  Looking into the glass door of the shop, he can see Kate kneeling obediently, hands in her lap holding the shine rag. “Yeah,” he says, “just came out of the shop.”  He pauses for a few seconds before sitting in the driver seat.  “Yeah, he has a new Life-Like-U bot.”  He closes the door before continuing.  “She is in fine shape and has multiple functions.”  As he eyes her one more time before the car pulls way, he says with a smile, “Flint definitely needs more insurance on his shop, especially his newest bot: Kate.”

The End?
