The holy panther of Aak-thuum, an idol crafted in gold with two emerals on its eyes. Around twenty kilograms. Worth several millions. There it was, just a few inches from Carmen's face.
She had sneaked in a party held by the panther's owner, an industrialist of the timber sector. Prosper had proposed her this robbery and she was there planning a strategy. The panther was inside a glass cabinet. In the same room there were many other expensive objects. Plates, vases, paintings, sculptures, and even a guitar. A small, yet valuable treasure. Carmen, though, was there only for the panther. To assess the security measures, for being precise. She would take it some other day. Too many people this time, too many eyes.
-Beautiful, right?
Carmen looked at her left. An incredibly beutiful woman was next to her also admiring the idol. Despite her many worth admiring features, perhaps what Carmen found mostly interesting was the complete lack of hair on her face and head. No eyebrows, no eyelashes, no nothing. Where her eyebrows should be she had two black lines filling the void, tattooed probably.
-Yes, it's amazing. Worth a fortune.
-Are you going to write an article?
-I'm..., what?- Apparently she knew Carmen, or, at least, her activities as a journalist, but she didn't remember her.- Yes...- She improvised.- Yes, of course. Excuse me, have we met before?
-But of course...- She smiled. A beautiful smile. Perfect teeth. She quickly removed those thoughts from her mind. She was't there to flirt.- You've worked for me a couple of times. I'm the curator of the university museum, you know, in Gadesia. You wrote about...
-Aida!? That's your name, right? How's...? You have..., changed. How...?- Carmen could see a slight resemblance, indeed, but she had to look very closely. The person she had met was around fifty years old and that hot chick at that party was around twenty five. That was just impossible.
-Of, if you knew... I've gone through a beauty treatment of sorts. An ancient Egyptian procedure. Quite exclusive, I'm afraid. I'd tell you more but you wouldn't believe me.
-Sure, I... Well, whatever is it, is awesome. You're amazing. If this house weren't full of people I'd go all over you in...
-Oh, dear, please...
-What the fuck was that!?- Carmen thought.
-Oh, shit!- Carmen couldn't understand what had gotten into her mind to say such a thing.- Oh, my... I'm so sorry.
-Don't worry.- Aida held Carmen's hand and caressed its back. Aida's skin was specially hot and soft. Then Carmen realized that unlike all the other people, she wasn't wearing a jacket, and her top was pretty thin. She wondered if that was also due to the mysterious procedure. It was also surprising that Aida didn't seem very scandalized. Maybe she was accustomed to people suddenly hitting on her.- I'll tell you a secret. I'm using a cologne of sorts..., you know, that helps me dealing with people. It's not your fault. But don't tell anyone, please.- She joked. Again her beautiful smile disrupted Carmen's brain's synapsis.
-Yes, errrr...- Carmen looked around trying to distract herself with whatever and, surprisingly, she found something quite distracting. An unexpected old friend.- A pleasure, Aida, but I have to meet someone. We'll talk about that article.
-Of course, dear.- Aida nodded and let Carmen go.
Alexandra was there, in the yard talking with an old man. Business stuff, probably. Carmen grabbed a cup filled with what seemed like an expensive white wine, that was going to end up on the grass because she didn't drink alcohol, even less when she was working.
Carmen made sure that Alex had seen her, but waited patiently until she had finished her chat. In the meantime Carmen resumed the tasks that she was supposed to be focused on, analyzing security measures. A while later Alexandra signaled to follow her. She took Carmen to a bathroom near the size of her bedroom. The wine ended up in the toilet instead of the grass.
They looked at each other in silence for a few seconds. Alex had let her hair grow to the length of what a woman would normally wear. Her suit hugged her curves and showed a lot of cleavage. Her father's death proved to be good for her self-steem. Carmen, on the other hand, wanted to blend into the crowd so she had chosen the most boring long skirt, blouse and cardigan she could find in her wardrobe.
-I've heard that you killed your father.- Carmen broke the silence.
-It's true.- Alex said as if she were talking about the weather.
-Really? Why?- Leopold Bizet was a monster, but he still was her father.
-He was going to kill me because I failed.
-How did you fail?- Alex raised and eyebrow.- Oh..., because of me... Ok... I guess that you owe me a favor, then.- Carmen joked.
Alex came closer to Carmen and pushed her towards the wall in a seemingly menacing way.
-You are still my property. Do you remember? I own you. I will claim what's mine sooner than later.
-Alex...- Carmen looked at her in silence for a few seconds. Then she grabbed her hand an kissed its palm. After that she hugged her, which Alex responded after a brief hesitation.- Please, don't do this to yourself. I'm like poison for you, you know that. You need a family. Someone who actually loves you. Below all that marble, you are a good person.- She kissed her cheek and made a longer pause.- On the other hand a part of me would love being chained at your feet servicing you sexually all day long.- Alex blushed. She hated being teased that way. She hated feeling weak.- Exploring the depths of that underutilized pussy of yours with my tongue. So stop teasing me, please.
-I'm teasing you!?- She broke the embrace.- You...- She pointed at Carmen with her index finger. She took it in her mouth and licked it with her tongue. Alex lost her train of thoughts.
-I've told you, love. I can be yours if you want, but I'm poison.- She made another pause letting Alex calm down, still holding her hand.- We'll talk, ok? I'll give you a call. We might work together again someday.- Alex nodded and left. She needed to be anywhere else.
The cell phone rang in the middle of the action. Carmen was tied up spread eagled to the bed frame with brand new soft ropes. José was on top of her and inside her. Probably about to finish according to his groans.
-No! Let it ring.- José stopped for a moment to answer and left the phone next to Carmen's ear. Then he resumed his attentions.- Hello?- Carmen tried to sound natural. She was also in the brink and José was making things worse.
-Hi? I'm Aida, we talked the other week. I had a business proposal for you. Can you talk? You sound flustered.
-Errrr, I...- She half-suppressed a moan.- I'm... Aw!- José nibbled her breast.- Quickly please.- She accompanied the last word with a clear and audible moan.
-Ok, you seem distracted. Do you know where the museum is, right? Can you come tomorrow, between eleven o'clock and half past twelve? I will be in my office. I think you will like the idea.
-Yes!- Carmen moaned again. José was hearing the conversation and slowed down his pace when he saw that it was a job offer.- I will be there. Bye.- José hung up the phone and left it on the nightstand.- Do you really think you're funny? Come on, keep going.
-Hey! I'm supposed to be the master here. Why are you always giving orders?
-Shut up and fuck me!
-Yes, ma'am.
Carmen had worked for the university a couple of times, but she had never been there. A student showed her the way to Aida's office. The museum wasn't big, she could have found it easily. On her way she took a quick look at the exhibited objects. It was mostly ceramic and silex along with a few bronze and rusty iron weapons. Nothing too fancy. Many of them donations, probably.
-Come in.- Aida said when Carmen knocked at her door. She was correcting some tests.- According to one third of my students Buda was born in China. What should I do now? A rap on the head?- She joked. Carmen nodded and laughed.- Come, I'll show you.
Aida guided her through a few corridors to another part of the museum were they kept the best pieces of the exhibition. One of the objects attracted Carmen's attention immediately.
-That's...?- The holy panther of Aak-thuum was there, at the other side of a thin glass, next to an old celtic shield.
-Yes. His old owner donated it the last week. Amazing, right? If we could publicize it properly we might even get visitors some day!- She seemed to be suppressing her excitement for some reason. A vain effort.
-Right...- Carmen was thinking on her bad luck. Then she started planning her next robbery.
-That's why you are here. As you were writing an article, I'm going to ask you a couple of things. I would like to buy a copy of your article, so we can publish it in our bulletin.- Carmen nodded while she was thinking that she had lied about the article. She didn't intent to write anything, she just wanted to steal the fucking idol.- I would also ask you to write a summary of your article, focusing on its artistic value, so we can place it on the wall next to the idol. Your signature would be there, of course.
-Errrr...
-We are going to receive more donations along the next months. If I like your work I might hire you more often.
-Why not?- Carmen thought.- I will write the article. A pair of weeks later I will come back to get the bigger prize. Maybe I can even convince her to lend me the key of the showcase.
-Ok, then. We have a deal.- They shook hands. Carmen enjoyed the touch of Aida's silky skin.
A few days later Carmen went back to the university to take the article there. She could have emailed it, but she wanted to take a good look to the museum's security. Aida was in her office talking with a man around fifty something years old. They hugged each other and shared a rather intense kiss. Looking at Aida's eyes Carmen could see that she was in love. The man, though, showed something else. Something more intense than that. She left the two lovebirds alone and walked around the museum doing what she should have already done, to begin with. It didn't take long, there were barely a couple of cameras and one of them was disconnected. That panther was going to be an easy prey.
-You didn't need to come.
-I know, but I wanted to see again those great breasts.- Carmen joked. Aida smiled enigmatically. Again her light clothes suggested that she was immune to the cold air of the late autumn.- I've brought the two versions. The longer one for the bulletin and the shorter one for the wall.- She gave Aida the folder.
-I'm busy right now. Maybe we can take a coffee some day and talk about other businesses.- Carmen nodded in agreement.- My breasts also will be there. I promise.- Aida kept the joke.
