Part-Time Display(F > Mannequin Transformation),Nora: “Wow… They’re pretty. If what Sara told me is true, then they’re actually people.”She thinks to herself as she looks at the pair of models on display. Her friend Sara told her about a special program that the owner of the shop started to allow customers to ‘donate themselves’ as mannequins for the store- temporarily, of course. That’s why she’s here today!,Nora: “Hi! I’m here to volunteer for the mannequin program.”Nora says to the employee at the register as she reads her name tag. The words ‘Hello! My name is Myra’ are printed onto it.Myra: “Oh, great! My boss always loves having new ‘models’.” She walked out from behind the counter and looked back to her. ,Myra: “Before we go anywhere though, I need to ask you something. You know what you’re signing up for, right? This won’t just be you standing around in our clothes and greeting people at the door. We’re actually going to turn you into one. With magic. We actually had a few… incidents… because we didn’t communicate that properly before.” She nods eagerly in response.Nora: “Mhm! That’s exactly why I’m here!” ,Myra: “Okay, just stay in here. I’ll go tell my boss about you. I hope you have fun!” She says as she walks towards the door. Nora: “Thank you!”Before she leaves, she stops and looks back to Nora.Myra: “Oh-. Don’t touch anything, okay? I don’t want her getting angry at me because I let you break something-.” The employee says as she shuts the door behind her, leaving Nora along in the slightly eerie room.,After Myra left, Nora looked around at the mannequins around her. Are all of them people too? Are they watching her? Will they watch her while she’s being transformed…? She had to admit, it was a little creepy- but otherwise she didn’t mind too much. After a few minutes of staring at the display dummies, the door would open again, a different person standing on the other side this time.,The person- who she assumes is Myra’s boss- walks into the room and looks down to her.Store Owner: “Hello. My name is Endora. I assume you’re our new volunteer?”Nora: “Mhm! I’m Nora. It’s nice to meet you.”The tall woman thinks for a moment.Endora: “Nora… Oh, that’s right. Sara told me about you.”Nora: “You know Sara?”Endora: “Of course! I taught her everything she knows. Now, let’s begin, shall we?”,Endora: “First, I need you to pose for me. Make sure you choose something cute, because you’ll be stuck like that for… Hmm… You didn’t say how long you wanted to stay, did you?”Nora: “Just for the weekend! I have a job to do during the week-. Is this okay?” She asks as she takes and holds the pose of her choice.Endora: “That’s perfect! Next, you just need to stand completely still…”,As she says that, she raises her hand and begins to glow. Nora’s body starts to glow too, and as it does, she suddenly feels herself freezing in place! Nora: “Huh? I-I can’t move!” She says, a little panicked, but Endora remains completely calm.Endora: “Don’t worry, it’s just a part of the spell. I suppose that makes what I asked of you a little redundant, but that really just means it’s less work for you, no-?”,Nora: “Oh, it started! I can never get used to this feeling....”Sara: “You’ve been transformed before? Oh- I suppose if you’re Sara’s friend, she must use you as her test subject quite often.”Nora: “...Well, that’s not wrong… Honestly, I don’t mind it. Being turned into different things is always fun-.”,Nora: “Wow… This actually feels really good…”Her skin starts to turn into hard, white fiberglass, her arms segmented at the shoulders and elbows with other parts segmenting beneath her clothes.Endora: “Of course it does~. This program wouldn't be so popular if our volunteers went mad from standing in place for days on end-.”,Nora: “Mmph-?!”She tries to speak again, but finds that her lips refuse to move, her expression shifting to the same smile the rest of the mannequins in the room are wearing.Endora: “It looks like we’re almost done. Just one more little thing~.”,A pleasant warmth fills her body as her eyes are converted as well, concluding her transformation into an inanimate object. Now there’s nothing she can do but stand there in place… but with the help of an extra effect from Endora’s spell, she’d feel nice and comfortable as long as she’s in this form, like laying on the softest bed in the world!,Endora: “Another flawless transformation. How do you feel? Are you having fun so far?”Noraquin: “...”Endora: “Oh, that’s right. Mannequins don’t speak~.”She giggles quietly to herself. Of course, it’s something she says to everyone she transforms-.Endora “Now, let’s get these off of you.”,After undressing the new mannequin, Endora put all of her belongings into a locker for safe keeping. Then she left the room, leaving her in the darkened storage room where she’ll wait to be taken out to be put on display.,An hour later, Nora is put into the window beside the two mannequins she saw before she entered the store, now with brand new clothes and a different wig! She’ll stay there for the rest of the weekend, relaxing and enjoying the glances of people walking by. Maybe she’ll inspire others that look at her to take her place once she’s back to normal!
