I know it's been a while since y'all last heard from me. The Quaddie surgery took a bit longer to adjust to than I thought. But, some great news! I'm finally out exploring the cosmos!
It's really weird climbing around everywhere, but I've gotten pretty good at it! I've even learned a few fun gravity-less tricks like pushing off of doors to save me a few extra minutes while I'm traveling along.
It's kind of sad leaving everyone behind on Earth, but thankfully we still get signal out here! Although we've been warned several times that that won't always be the case.
Oh! Sounds like I've got to get back to things. Will keep you all posted when I can! They've been considering giving me a few more upgrades so I can do some more jobs here on the ship, so I might look even more drastic next time you see me!

I was hoping to get something a bit more festive done for you all for a December render, but with my computer having gone completely kaput for practically all of November those plans have fizzled out rather hard.
So instead, I thought it about time I finally start the process of migrating one of my favorite worlds I've been cooking in my server out to you all on Deviantart. It's quite a bit more self-contained than my 'anything goes' world of magic, following the vlog of a wannabe star explorer who's undergone a 'Quaddie' surgery to get room and board on an intergalactic spaceship.
There'll be some familiar faces along the way (mainly because I'm too lazy to redesign completely new characters ), but I hope that the new setting and interesting form will let me tell some stories that I don't normally tell in the main universe.
Heavily inspired by the early drawings of @nikita-sk 's character Thea from arialbold (whose amazing work you can find here. Also, this early work of theirs, which I'm unsure if it's related to Thea or not).
Which in turn, I think are based on the Quaddie race from the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois Bujold? I'll be going in a different direction than all of them, I think, but thought it still important to mention the rather direct influences 
There's going to be a bit of a real world gap between this first piece and the next, because I have a completely different project that 100% needs to be done before I can release them. But rest assured when that project finally comes out, the renders from this world will come out a bit more frequently (until all the ones I have in the backlog are released, then it'll return to my normal glacial pace 
).
In any case, I hope that December and the new year treat you well, and see you all when I see you again
