Word Count: 2999 (it's the last chapter, I'm allowed to break the word count rule for it)

I always love a happy ending

Author's Note:

Well, we did it. We reached the end of the story. Overall, this has became my longest story on the site, clocking in at a massive 46,273 words. That's only a few thousand off of a Novel length story.

I'd like to thank everyone who has helped in shaping this story by voting in the comments, or who was simply along for the ride and read the story the entire way through.

Overall, in comparison with last year's interactive, I felt that I handled the story of this one much better, although I feel that I sort of let the transformation aspect of the story fall by wayside within the last week or two.

As with the last interactive, I would greatly appreciate any feedback or criticisms you might have, I once again have some starter questions to help if you can't really put your feelings into words:
1.) Did you like it?
2.) Now that I've done a full run with both styles of storytelling (All people in the group at all times, vs splitting the group up and doubling back in order to tell everyone's perspective) which style would you say is better for these sorts of story?
3.) Did you like the inclusion of special choices (i.e. the one time where I hid the outcomes of the choices, or pick two to transform, or this ending)? What could I improve about these special choices?
4.) Do you prefer it when I make my choice options sort of vague about what will happen to the characters, or explicitly state out the transformation selecting an option will cause?
5.) Was the new high word count limit a detriment or a positive addition?
6.) Do you prefer it how, this time through I tried to release the stories within the same 4 hour window (besides this one, curse you Stash for not properly submitting this!), or on an as I can basis like I did with last year's interactive.
7.) If I were to make a new interactive, would you want to see these characters again? Or a completely new set of characters?
8.) What would you have liked to see me have done differently (besides pick your option over the group's choice)?
9.) Any Additional Comments?

So now that I'm done this, I'm going to take a two week break from writing (because I am exhausted), however I have some good news. When I get back, I'm going to go back and do some of the other options as what-ifs based upon your suggestions. Each person can suggest one choice they would like to see me write out (note: I will already be doing the arcade option from day 2, so do not suggest that one), simply put it in your comment on this entry with the day # and the choice you would like.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my story. Thank you for reading and playing along
