I'm about half-way done with my next story, and to celebrate, I'm re-releasing this short story I wrote nearly half a year ago on writing.com.<br />It was meant to be part of a large, five-part story, where I would explore different varieties of crime drama (the next one was going to be like an over-the-top spy movie, but I never got around to writing it). After plentiful attempts at starting a second story, I never had the energy to actually complete it. &nbsp;So enjoy the story with an ending that makes absolutely no sense.
