The Australia Fire and Rescue was on stand by, as the Enmore Theater became the biggest fire hazard in Australia that evening.

     The theater itself was packed nearly floor to ceiling with people. The upper balcony seats and lower floor seats were all occupied, and then even more people were stuffed in, latching to the ceiling with various claws and appendages.

     The lobby of the theater wasn’t much better, people stuffed shoulder to shoulder, trying to get a good spot in the wave of people in order to watch the monitors showing off what was going on inside.

     And then, there was the massive throng of people in the street, forming a sort of semi-circle of fans outside the theater, watching a large screen that had been spread across the wall of the Enmore, a projection across the street broadcasting it live. The accompanying roads around the theater were shut down, and traffic was being diverted away.

      Cutting back inside, the crowd started screeching, as the loudspeaker announcement played, announcing the show was about to begin. A few minutes later, and they went even more ballistic as Drake walked out from behind the curtain in his standard tuxedo attire.

     “Ladies and Gentlemen!” Drake stretched his greeting out, similar to those at fighting events. The crowd, for their part, absolutely ate this up, shouting wildly in approval. Drake, having long given up on the idea that he would be audible over the crowd, simply waited for their cheers to subside before continuing (a process that took quite a bit of time).

     “A week ago, six fantastic new assistants were introduced into your lives. Now, seven grueling days later, we find ourselves, at their first real test as magician’s assistants.

     Tonight, each of them will be performing a routine with International Class Magician, Martin Horn designed around the simple two word theme: ‘Upside Down’. They’ve been hard at work, crafting spectacular performances of magic and wonder, and now it’s time to see the fruits of their efforts.”

     “But first, we’d like to give another massive round of applause to the wonderful assistant duo of Penny and Jean, for their support during this first week, and for providing commentary to the contestants.” A screen rolled down from the ceiling of the stage, showing off a live feed of Penny and Jean backstage.

     Jean was sitting in a large, dark leather recliner, wearing a dark blue tank top and khaki pants. Her cat ears were at attention. Sitting on her lap, a large beanbag like blob of something squishy and caramel color sat. As the camera turned on, Jean blushed, prodding the blob on her lap gently.

     A single hazel eye lazily formed on the blob rolling around slightly before focusing on the camera. It grew wide in shock, as the blob leaped off Jean, landing on a second nearby recliner.

     The blob began to almost unfold outwards, seams appearing as various body parts began to take shape. Soon enough, Penny, wearing a light blue shirt and purple pants was sitting next to Jean. She had three legs and four arms, two of which waved at the camera (along with Jean) as the audience applauded them.

     As they died down once more, the screen went back up into the ceiling, and Drake took center stage, “Now, let’s get on to the main event! Ladies and Gentlemen of Australia, let me introduce to you, for the first stop of his World Tour, Mr. Martin Horn!”

     Drake walked off stage, as the curtain began to rise for the first time that night.

Olive’s Performance

     Martin waved at the crowd, as he walked out with Olive holding onto his arm. For his part, he had done his best to match her retro style, wearing a white button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and gray slacks.

     Olive was wearing a golden cocktail dress that hugged her curves. Her curly hair was tied up in almost a beehive like fashion, giving it impressive volume.

     Martin walked to a microphone that was set up on center stage, smiling as Olive went off the other side of the stage, wheeling in a rather familiar looking box. “Good evening everyone. Tonight, my lovely assistant Olive asked if it would be possible for me to do one of her favorite compression acts. Seeing as how she’s so kind, I thought I would oblige.”

     The cabinet Olive brought out was a rather simple one, composed of two boxes, attached together via two strips of paper folded in an accordion manner composing the left an right wall of a gap between the two boxes, all hooked to a robust frame to allow for the two boxes to slide up and down. Unlike standard variations of this trick, the lower box had an 7-segment LCD display currently switched off.

     Olive made a show, walking to one side of the box and posing, and then the other, while Martin worked to open the front latches on the top and bottom box. Olive grinned as she walked in, lining up her head with the top box and lower box and giving the audience a warm smile.

     Martin closes the boxes, pulling down a blind from the top box to the bottom box. The 7-segment display turned on, displaying ‘ 4’10’’ ‘ on it in big, green letters. “Comfy in there Olive?” Martin asked.

     “Oh, for sure,” Olive smiled back, her hair pushing down against the top of her head box.

     “Great! Then let’s get started!” Martin placed his hand down on the box containing Olive’s head, gently pushing it towards the floor. As it approached her feet, the number on the 7 segment display started ticking down.

     Martin checked in with Olive when her head had reached about the half way point of the frame. “How are you doing, Olive?”

     Olive smiles, “Absolutely wonderful, dear,”

     “Great,” Martin grins, grasping the blind and pulling it up to reveal Olive’s compacted body. Despite her head and feet remaining the same size, her regular body had significantly squashed towards her center, her body growing out wider to compensate her loss in height.

     Olive gave two pudgy thumbs up, as Martin slid the blind back up, obscuring her body once more.

     This time, Martin grabbed the box containing Olive’s feet, which were wearing golden slippers. He lifted them up, the two boxes becoming flush with one another, the display next to Olive reading ‘ 1’2’’ ‘. Olive smiled brighter than her gold dress as the audience applauded the impossibly small form.

     “Now normally,” Martin smiled at the audience, “This would be where I would remove the restraints, and Olive would parade around in this adorably tiny form,” Olive blushed profusely, “However, Olive approached me with this trick with the simple question:

     ‘What if we kept going?’

     So, let’s see what happens,” Martin grins, pressing a button on the lower of the two boxes, a trapdoor somehow opening up, despite Olive’s feet remaining on solid ground.

     It was at this point, that it became obvious why Olive’s head box was slightly less wide than her feet box, as Martin pushed down, impossibly working her head box through her foot box, the counter attached to the side of foot box hitting ‘ 0’00’ ‘ and then somehow moving on to ‘ -0’01” ‘.

     The audience applauded once again, as Martin continued working Olive’s head box through, her smile being the first part of her head to appear from below her foot box. Martin kept pushing, encountering more resistance as he pushed her head towards the floor and her feet towards the the top of the frame. Through all of this, the blind had somehow managed to remain between her head and foot box, although now attached to the opposite edge. The height display read ‘ -4’10” ‘.

     “Well Olive, are you ready to find out what happens in a negative flattening?”

     “Of course I am dear,” Olive smiled, “Now get on with it!”

     Martin obliged, pulling up the blind, revealing a strange sight. Despite her head and feet remaining upright, Olive’s body was now attached between these to boxes upside down. If it was attached at all, her neck was now attached to the top of her head, and her legs to the soles of her feet.

     The audience applauded, as Martin gave a bow, Olive giving two thumbs up, before realizing that looked like she was giving a thumbs down and rotating her arms to the correct orientation.

     The curtain closed, ending their performance.

Dahlia’s Performance

     The curtain raised once more, and it was apparent that the stage had changed drastically from Olive’s performance.

     For starter, the roof had somehow been lowered, lining up with the upper railing of the balcony. From this lower roof, an elegant glass chandelier was hanging towards the left side of the stage.

     The other major difference was that the stage was packed with people. They were mostly mingling, but it was clear that there was an odd number of men to women. The men were all wearing similar variations of tuxedos, while the woman had largely varying dresses of different styles (some were wearing victorian era outfits, while others had more modern sensibilities) and colors. Everyone was wearing wearing similar, marble face masks.

     Some light orchestral music was playing in the background by an unseen orchestra.

     Everyone save for Martin Horn, who was clearly managing to make himself seen despite the large crowd of people around him. He was wearing a similar tuxedo outfit to the other men, but he had his face clearly visible to everyone. He seemed lost in his thoughts, looking around the party rather ambivalent to it all.

     That was, until Dahlia walked into the scene, immediately catching eyes and cheers from the crowd.

     Dahlia was wearing a luxurious purple ballgown, the hoop portion of the dress understated and giving volume by several trailing pieces of purple fabric originating from a bow tied around her waist, and purple shoulder high gloves. She had her black hair with red streaks styled to have more volume.

     And she was walking on the ceiling.

     Martin looked at her in shock. Looking around at the group of faceless party-goers, a look of confusion passing over his face as they seemed to pay her no mind.

     The orchestra stopped playing for a moment, shifting to a more waltz-like temp, as the other partygoers started pairing up, leaving a small circle on the stage for Martin to stand alone in.

     He looked around, still confused about what was going on, until Dahlia reached a hand up into the sky (or really, towards the floor), Martin backing up as it appeared right in his face. She had a sly look on her face.

     Martin looked at Dahlia uncertain, before reaching up his own arm, giving a little bow to her while still holding on. Dahlia reciprocated, and soon enough the two of them were doing a modified waltz around the dance floor.

     Despite the awkward manner they had to hold their arms to do so, there was a certain elegance to it, Martin even managing to pull off having her give a twirl.

     As the song was coming to an end, Martin gestured with his free hand for Dahlia’s other hand, which she was all to happy to oblige. Martin, now holding both of Dahlia’s hands tightly pulled down, trying his best to bring the mysterious dancer down to his plane of gravity, However, try as he might, he seemed to not be able to do anything but lift her six inches off the ceiling.

     Dahlia wasn’t taking this sitting down though, From her back, two additional arms sprouted. They somehow were wearing purple gloves as well. As she was lifted into the air, she reached down with the new arms, untying the bow around her waist. The hoop portion of her dress fell to the ceiling, deflating completely.

     With less weight, Martin was able to pull Dahlia closer to about head level, and with her new extra arms, Dahlia assisted by grabbing his fore arms and attempting to pull herself closer.

     At about chest level, the two of them realized that Dahlia was still upside down, so pulling her in for a hug, the two tried their best to orient her the right way. After some false starts and one scary point where it almost looked like Martin was about to drop her, Dahlia was oriented the correct way keeping herself tethered with one of her pairs of arms tied around Martin’s chest, her hair flying up towards the ceiling.

     The two looked at it and laughed. As the orchestra started playing a slow song, Martin blushed, pulling in Dahlia closer in for a hug, which she reciprocated.

     As the two slowly danced along, the curtains closed.

Natalie’s Performance

     The stage was mostly clear again as the curtains rose, save for Martin and Natalie who were standing in the center stage.

     Martin had on a very stereotypical outfit for a magician, a black tuxedo, blue bowtie, and a top hat. Meanwhile Natalie had taken a similar classic outfit, a green cocktail dress with green high heels.

     Martin was all smiles, “For tonight’s performance, Natalie wanted to do a classic version of a mis-made, we hope that you’ll enjoy it.” Martin bowed, as Natalie sped off stage, eagerly wheeling out the cabinet.

     The cabinet was composed of four boxes, each of with had a portion of the outline of a woman in black on the front, and a hole for a part of this person to stick out of. On the topmost box, a spot for the assistants head. The middle two had a spot each for an assistant’s hand (left on the higher, right on the lower), and the bottom had holes for her feet.

     Martin opened the box, and Natalie, stepped inside, shaking with excitement and rattling the cabinet as the doors were closed and she popped her various parts out of the holes.

     As the doors closed, Natalie started rattling off some facts about the trick to the crowd. About how it had been originally designed by the magician Chuck Jones as an alternative to the classic sawing an assistant in half.

     Natalie walked the audience through the trick, as Martin did as she described. “So first, blades are going to be added between each of the four boxes. There’s not really a specific order to which one goes first, but for our trick, we’re going to start in the middle, and then do the other two at the same time.” The blades slid true, effortlessly passing through each portion of the cabinet.

     “Then, the Magician unstacks all of the boxes, starting from the top,” Natalie’s head was partially obscured from the audience, as Martin carried it over to the far corner of the stage. Of course, didn’t stop Paxton from continuing to explain, “He’ll usually put a bit of distance between each of the boxes just to show that there’s no way that the assistant could do it any other way than by being in pieces.”

     Martin placed the boxes equidistance across the front of the stage. “And at this point, the magician will typically do something else just to further prove that these are indeed the parts of the assistant. Sometimes it’s just tickling their hand or feet, but we’re going to go with the ‘Galano Variation’.”

     Martin walked over to the box containing Natalie’s head, opening it up and holding it out to the crowd. Natalie grinned, “In this variation, the head is pulled out and shown to the audience. It’ll usually get passed around for a bit, but we’ve only got a limited amount of time for our act.”

     Martin went back, putting Natalie’s head in her box and assisting in lining it flush with the front of the door again.

     “Then, to complete the trick, the magician will restack the boxes, usually in the wrong order.” Martin did as he told, placing her head box down in the center of the stage. “With a four box variation, there’s only fifteen possible wrong combinations. Each of these variations have a different name in Magicology, but the one we’re doing is most common referred to as the ‘Upside Down’.”

     Martin had finished stacking the boxes. From the floor up, it went Natalie’s head, followed by her chest, her hips, and then her feet. Martin snapped his fingers, the boxes opening up wide, revealing her miss-stacked part in all of their glory. “And then, restoration is optional,” Natalie grinned.

     The audience politely applauded, as the curtain lowered once again.

Kacie’s Performance

     The stage was drastically transformed once again, this time being set up almost like one of Tetra’s concert venues, with her set up in a little DJ station towards the back left corner of the stage in her regular concert gear. The rest of the stage was populated with a variety of dancers, and Martin.

     Martin looked out of place in the rave. He was wearing normal looking street clothes, a blue polo and khaki shorts, and despite the fact he didn’t need them, he was even wearing a pair of glasses.

     “What’s up everyone! It’s time to make some noise!” Tetra shouted, as the audience cheered.

     Kacie started the set list off with some sampling some classic AC/DC songs: ‘Back in Black’, ‘ThunderStruck’ and ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’. She would seamlessly intermingle the choruses together, creating a brand new AC/DC song that didn’t sound too drastically far off from the rest of the repertoire.

     Martin looked apprehensive, as he began wading his way through the crowd to try to get to Tetra. As Brian Johnson would belt out the chorus to ‘Thunderstruck’ A lightening bolt would strike down from the ceiling, barely avoiding anyone but shocking Martin a couple of times away from the path he was taking.

     Kacie then shifted into the next part of her set seamlessly, the backing beat taking precedence over the music and gradually losing definition until it was just a beat line that was quickly growing in intensity. The ravers seemed to be getting pumped, Martin looking around confused, but taking the opportunity to move further into the crowd to approach Kacie.

     Of course, Martin looked on in panic, as the sound of L’il Jon shouted out the age old philosophical question to the ravers.

     “Turn down for what?”

     All hell broke loose amongst the ravers. They began swinging their bodies erratically at one another in time to the Trap beat. Martin doing his best to dodge around the wild blows. Whenever a raver would make contact with another one, the points of contact would shatter, sending black shards of stone flying everywhere, typically creating a domino effect in flaking off some sections of other ravers.

     By the end of the snippet of song Kacie was playing, most of the ravers had been turned to a writhing mass of black rubble. Amazing enough, Martin had came out unscathed, patting himself down and stepping over the rubble to get closer to Kacie. The various parts of ravers that still had some articulation dancing along still as Kacie began yet another soft transition into her final song.

     To finish out her set, Kacie introduced her next song by saying, “And now, let’s take it back!” The music picking up pace, as a techno remix of ‘Time Warp’ started to play.

     The effects of this song kicked in just as Martin was about to reach Kacie’s station. Martin suddenly found himself moving backwards involuntarily, mimicking the steps he had taken in reverse. All around him, the broken pieces of ravers flew up off the ground, back to their original owners. He freaked out as lightning flew up from the ground around him and before too long Kacie’s song winded down enough for the effect to end, the Ravers cheering.

     Martin, now back just as far away as where he had started, looked visibly annoyed, he opened the jewel case he had been carrying the whole time, grabbing the disc and throwing it frisbee style at the sound equipment.

     A record scratch sound effect could be heard, Tetra looking confused as her sound system started playing David’s disc. The beat was drastically off what she had been performing at, and soon enough, Lionel Richie’s ‘Dancing on the ceiling’ began to play.

     The crowd of Ravers looked confused at one another as his dulcet tones played over the loudspeaker right at the chorus.

     Soon enough, Ravers began floating upwards towards the ceiling, initially one at a time, but the number gradually increasing until large chunks of the group flew upwards. Even DJ Tetra, who was doing her best to hold on to a speaker was subject to the affect as she floated up to the ceiling.

     Finally, Martin was the only person on the dance floor. He did a fist pump, as he started doing some goofy moves, just having a good time to Lionel Richie.

     The curtains closed out right as the chorus began to move back into the next verse.

~~~
Paxton’s Performance
     The curtains arose on a rather mundane scene in comparison to the previous few acts.
     Paxton was nervously sitting in a chair. She had on a robe with various stars printed across it, and was wearing a gray turban on her head to hold her mane of hair in place.
     Martin walked in from the other side of the stage. He was wearing street clothes, and seemed to be acting a little nervous as he approached.
     Paxton, for her part, managed well enough to act confidently, saying, “So, you have come to ‘The All-seeing Oracle, Paxton’. What is that you seek?’
     “Well,” Martin sat opposite her, his confidence seemingly gone, “I met this girl the other day-“
     “-Ah yes, young love” Paxton interrupted, seemingly sounding disinterested, “Always a wonderful thing.”
     “Yes,” Martin said, grinning for a moment before turning back to looking serious, “I asked her out, and we have a date tonight, and I need to know how it’s going to end.”
     “How it’s going to end? Are you sure you want to know those secrets?” Martin nodded, “Alright then,” Paxton smiled a wicked grin.
     Paxton held her hands out, rotating them around in a circle. From the thin air between them, a small, clear ball began to form, growing larger. Soon enough, a glass ball approximately the size of grapefruit was hovering in the center of the table between her hands.
     Paxton concentrated, reaching under the table and turning on a light in it’s center. This light passed through the crystal ball spreading outwards in a cone.
     Paxton focused, and a smaller, more translucent ball appeared between her crystal ball, and light on the table. Thanks to the crystal ball, it’s projection was greatly expanded in the air, materializing as a nearly two feet wide hologram of the earth (and clearly something much larger than Paxton would have normally been able to produce).
     “In the far future, if things do not change, then by the year 2500, the Earth will be covered in a horrible pollutant fog,” The miniature blue marble of the Earth slowly began to have a thin layer of green fog roll over it, this action being multiplied several times over in the hologram. As the green pollutant began to completely encompass it, the blueness of Earth began to brown.
     “This will do far worse than just kill humanity, it will completely destroy the entire ecosystem, turning the Earth into nothing more than an ecological wasteland,” The fog had dissipated, the brown husk of the Earth remaining.
     “And it will be only worse due to the flammable nature of the world left behind…” Small red spots appeared on the Earth, rolling out like the waves from a drop of water. Where the wave passed over, the previously brown husk of Earth now an uninhabitable black.
     “The Earth will remain this way for several eons until, well,” The crystal ball caught fire, morphing into a red hot ball of fire right in the middle of the table. Martin watched horrified, as the miniature husk of the Earth was pulled into the fire ball.
     As it made contact, the fireball exploded outwards in an impressive fireworks display, the tiny bits of flame becoming different colors as they sparkled into non-existence.
     Paxton wiped her forehead, smiling proudly as she said, “And that is what’s going to happen in the end.”
     Martin looked horrified. Stuttering he said, “N-no. I meant what was going to happen at the end of my date.”
     Paxton gave him a quizzical look, “Why would you come to an all-seeing Oracle about something as trivial as that?”
     Martin sighed, “Because I really like her and want things to go well?”
     Paxton sighed, moving her arms around, she conjured the crystal ball once more. This time, she held it between her hands, closing her eyes and giving it a shake up and down. She turned the crystal ball over, a little window revealing a blue liquid impossibly appearing on its underside.
     She grimaced, “Um… Maybe you should reschedule?”
     The audience laughed, as the curtains closed once more.
Rachel’s Performance
     Once again, the stage was drastically different from the show before it. This time, the stage was set up into two halves by a separating wall. Each half looked similar, that being a living room set with the exact same lineup of furniture, however, there were some pretty major differences.
     The set on the right didn’t really have anything that weird going on in it, besides the fact that there was a line of Christmas lights on the back wall of the set, letters scrawled in black paint underneath each bulb.
     The set on the left, however, was cast in a strange darkness. The living room looked more dilapidated, with unnatural green cobwebs and alien tendrils wrapping everything in a layer of grime.
     To match this strange duality, the two performers walked into their half of the set at the same time from opposite sides of the stage.
     Rachel was wearing street clothes, a pink t-shirt and blue jeans. Her hair was stylized into pig tales. She was carrying a book and very quickly sat down on the couch and began to read.
     On the sinister half of the stage, a strange creature walked out. It looked almost like mass of tendrils in the approximate facsimile of a biped, the being bonelessly crawling along the floor, reaching the center of the room, where it made an effort to better compact itself into the look of a person. Specifically, like a evil faced version of Martin.
     The strange creature looked at the couch on its side of the wall, staring intently at it. It reached out a tendril flicking it through the air.
     On Rachel’s side one of her pigtails flipped up into the air. She looked around her half of the stage, confused, but ultimately deciding it was nothing, went back to reading her book.
     Martin’s grin widened, as he repeated the steps, flicking her pigtail from the other side of the room. Rachel, once again looked around the room, this time putting her book down on the nearby coffee table, and walking over to the Christmas lights, asking, “Will?”
     The Martin ghoul grinned, walking over to the Christmas lights (going out of his way to give Rachel a small shove, freaking her out a little bit). He wrapped a tentacle around the lightbulb over the letter ‘R’.
     On Rachel’s half of the wall, the R bulb lit up. Followed closely by the A bulb, the C bulb, H, E, L. This patter repeated three times. Rachel responded, “Rachel? Yes! Will! It’s Rachel!” She shouted out.
     The Martin abomination angled his tentacles upwards, wrapping them around an invisible tube in the air, and lifting this tube up in the air.
     On Rachel’s half, she began to float in the air, “Woah! I’m happy to see you too Will!” She seemed completely oblivious to the true nature of the beast on the other side of the wall that was doing this to her. “Where are you? Can you point me to where I need to go to save you?”
     Rachel was spun around in the air and then gently put on the floor angled towards the wall between the sets. Her head was directed, and then a visible imprint appeared as the monster patted her head. “Okay… I think I see,” Rachel said walking to the wall between the sets.
     She stared intently at the wall, getting really close to take a nice look at it.
     Martin flashed a wicked look at the audience, before suddenly plunging a tentacle into the wall and wrapping around Rachel’s waist and pulling her into the other set, the wall acting more like water as it parted to accept her.
     As Rachel came into the second set, she immediately collapsed to the ground coughing. As she looked up at the audience, her face began to unravel a different appendage pulling away on its own fleshy stalk.
     As the rest of her body followed along in this metamorphosis, her form started to normalize slightly, moving less erratically as her coughing stopped.
     The tendril monster stood up, mimicking the orientation that Martin was in and looking like a corrupted Rachel. “Will…” She growled, their tendrils interconnecting as though they were holding hands.
     As they squirmed off the stage the way Martin had came in, the curtains rolled down on the final performance for the evening.
Send-off
     “Well, that’s our show everyone!” Drake announced, the audience cheering wildly, as he continued, “Unfortunately, that means it’s-“
     “Um,” Martin popped his head out from behind the curtain, the audience eliciting a fresh round of applause and confusion. “Drake, Is it okay if I say something before we sign off?”
     Drake, for his part, looked at Martin a little wide-eyed, clearly not expecting this to happen. “A-ah. Sure?” Drake put a professional smile on, as Martin fully walked out from behind the curtain, grabbing the microphone.
     Martin seemed a little apprehensive as he addressed the crowd, “Ladies and Gentlemen, Let’s give one more round of applause for our contestants!” The crowd followed along, as Martin lightly clapped his own hands before continuing. “They’ve done an absolutely wonderful job here tonight. I really could not ask for a better set of assistants.”
     Martin swallowed nervously, “ANGA has really stood as a testament, that with some practice and perseverance, anyone can become an amazing assistant…”
     Martin was still smiling, but there was clearly a lot of pain in his eyes and his voice as he continued, “So that makes it all the harder for me to say this…” He wipes at his eyes, his voice shaky, “I believe that… In order to ensure that these amazing assistants get the training and preparation they rightfully deserve in order to become their best possible selves… that I must humbly step away from the role of magician for this season.”
     Martin continues to flash his smile, his eyes visibly reddening, as he quickly spat out an outro, “Well, I’d like to wish you all a good evening, and a fond farewell,” he gave a short bow, and a wave, before he stepped back behind the curtain, disappearing as the audience looked on in shock and confusion, not sure if this was just a bit or the real deal.
     Drake stood frozen in place, mouth agape as he looked directly at the panning camera, underneath him, a little television bumper underneath explaining:
To Contestants: “Absolutely amazing training/rehearsals though some of you really should think more than a day beforehand what to do.
Anyway, I wish you good luck and success.” -Andrea (@@Jeaune)
 Natalie: “I think it was probably for the best that Martin had me focus on building up reserves first. After all, I don’t know if I would have been able to do my routine last week.”
 Dahlia: “…Thank you!” She smiles warmly.
 Paxton: Paxton blushes, “I just wish Martin and I could have practiced a bit more. I don’t know if what we’re going to do is really magical enough for this competition… But hopefully people might like it?”
 Kacie: “Ha ha! Thanks! I wish that I was able to come up with a great setlist earlier than the day before, but unfortunately that’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.”
 Olive: “Obviously, you’re right dear. It’s important to get a good routine going before coming out on stage. And thank you so very much for the kind words! Ooh! When we finally meet up! I’m going to just have to give you a big ol’ hug.”
 Rachel: “Okay, I’ll try. But a little bit of stress helps get the juices flowing,” Rachel sticks out her tongue.
