“Hello?” Lindsay asked into the flap of the tent, “Is anyone there?” The pair(?) of the crab like Heather and Susan combination and relatively normal but completely red Lindsay had arrived first, and were rather shocked that, for one of the first times they’ve been in the park, Sapphire was nowhere to be found.
“Hey!” the group turned towards the voice, shocked to see the now tentacled Echo, and the unchanged Veronica and Spencer. Veronica continued, “What happened to you guys!?”
“What happened to us? What happened to Echo?” Susan asked, her voice sounding very worried.
“Not much, I just had some bad milk and some great calamari,” Echo said, her shirt straining to contain her four much larger breasts. She was finally used enough to be able to walk on her tentacles. “What about you and Susan?”
“Well, it turns out that the Spine Ripper is very true to its name,” Heather chuckled, spinning their removed spines with her free hand.
“Hey! Why does Lindsay get to be normal?” Spencer whined.
“Sometimes, you’re just lucky,” Lindsay chuckled, “but I’m not completely normal.” She reached up, removing her right arm and causing it to freeze like plastic. After some gaping from her friends, she placed the arm back in place, “Now, here’s a question that I can’t believe I’m asking, but have you seen Sapphire? We called inside, but she wasn’t there.”
“Well we last saw her when she was serving us some food at the restaurant. So it could be a while-“
“That’s impossible,” Heather interrupted, speaking out of her bald head, before finishing with her regular head, “she was controlling the rides we went on.”
“Ugh. There must be an explanation for how she’s able to appear like she’s in multiple places at once,” Veronica said, still annoyed with her lack of hands, as she would be rubbing her temples if she had them.
“Well, we’re not going to get anything done just standing out here, so let’s just go inside the medical tent and wait for her,” Spencer said, wheeling his shared wheelchair into the medical tent. The rest of the girls, not being able to challenge that logic, shrugged at each other before going following the wheelchair bound couple inside.
The medical tent, despite its apparent significance as the only place they could get their bodies fixed, was surprisingly normal. The walls were green tent walls, there were a couple of lights strung up, and there were a variety of medical cots. “Huh, how quaint,” Echo joked.
“It’s so odd that Sapphire’s still not here,” Lindsay said, hopping down onto one of the cots and reattaching her disconnected arm to its socket, “She’s not always there, but usually she would have popped out of the shadows by now and spooked us.”
The group almost expected Sapphire to jump out at that point, but when no such event happened, Echo continued the conversation, “Do we really want her help though? She’s kind of been indirectly responsible for all the changes that have happened to us all day.”
“I don’t think she’s doing it on purpose,” Heather said, “Why would she apologize so profusely every time any little thing happens if she was in on the stuff happening here?”
“Maybe that’s just the sort of person she is?” Spencer said, shrugging.
“Sorry I’m late! Sorry I’m late! *Whooo*” Sapphire wheezed, running into the room through the front door of the tent wearing a nurses smock and a hat with a red cross on it. She breathed heavily, grasping at her stomach and muttering under her breath, “I’m getting too old for this,” Once she had caught her breath she said, “Again, Sorry I’m late. I… forgot that the tunnels were… under maintenance…”
“No problem Sapphire,” Susan said, giving her a forgiving smile, “we weren’t waiting here long. Besides, we’re all willing to wait as long as necessary to get us changed back to normal.”
“That’s great!” Sapphire said, “So, I’ll just need you all to lay down on a cot and then we can get the healing process started-“
Suddenly, from the opposite side of the room, an unseen trapdoor opened, and a woman burst out, falling to the floor. Awkwardly, she stood up (a feat that seemed pretty hard to do as she only had one leg), and the group were very confused to find a one-legged completely naked copy of Sapphire?
“Fuck,” Sapphire said, looking at the copy in disbelief with the rest of the group.
The trapdoor opened once more, About four more Sapphires walked out and grabbed the one legged copy. These Sapphires were unbelievably buff and wearing red security guard uniforms that did nothing to hide their muscles.
“Double Fuck,” Sapphire said, she gripped the bridge of her nose, before looking up confidently and addressing the group once more, “Okay folks… Looks like there’s going to be a change in plans. I was going to fix you all up… But now that you’ve seen too much, I’m going to have to take you all in. Now, please just stay put while my associates over here help you to the re-education center.”
What does the group do?
1.) Run away
2.) Come quietly
