After traveling down the hallway for another minute, she eventually started coming across empty pods. The doors were sealed and the strange green water was still floating within, and had no wires or needles what-so-ever. Pod after pod contained nothing, leading her to the conclusion that these pods had never contained anyone, but were easily ready to accept someone.

Now that there was clearly no purpose to continue down the aisle, as she was certain that all she would find would be more empty pods. In that extra two minutes it had taken for her to finish her assessment of the pods, she had figured out exactly what she was going to do. She had decided that the best guarantee that she could get out would be through the door that she had seen the strange man come through (as if he came in through that, surely there was a way to reach the door as well), however she was sure that if she went out as she was, she was most likely going to get caught if there was even a semblance of a guard. She needed to cause a distraction, and luckily she was in the easiest place to cause such a distraction.

She approached a pod with the most normal looking person yet, it was a girl’s head with blond hair, however her body was that of a man with brown body hair and a rather large looking flesh tube. She remembered where the clothed man from earlier had been fiddling with, and examined the same place on the pod. What she found was some sort of screen with an ovular imprint with wavy lines. She looked down at her hands, finding similar looking waves on her small grippers (fingers?). Shrugging, she placed her pudgiest finger (it only had one bend as opposed to her other fingers) on the screen, and was rather surprised when it lit green, the interface on the screen changing to a menu. The top option on the list read ‘release contents’ which was exactly what she wanted. Pressing that button, the wires and needles inside of the pod that were attached to the hybrid man/woman began to leave it and retract back into the walls of the pod. The glass began to slide towards the left, the green water falling onto the floor and pooling towards another drain.
The person flopped out of the pod and onto the floor, coughing out some of the green water in a manner that she had done when she had gotten out of her pod. As she looked up at her, she had to figure out how to communicate with her. She remembered the clothed man communicated via moving his lips, so she tried to let her instincts take over and moved her lips, her thoughts becoming vocalized, “Hello?”
The person looked at her with slight confusion, before speaking herself, saying, “W-who are you?”
“I don’t know, and if you’re like me, then you don’t know who you are either. But I need you help. I need to get out of here.”
    “O-okay.”

And so this pattern continued. She focused primarily upon people who had full or additional bodies, but not necessarily normal ones. She had hoped that the people she freed would also be able to open the pods, but after the man/woman failed, she just told the additional people to stay put while she got more people to help. Eventually she had what could be considered a small army of people (about 20-ish?). There was a girl with three legs, a guy with four arms, a girl with beautiful white wings, another with fleshy red wings, and even a couple completely normal people. Easily a third of all the people were the blue haired girl, and she was hoping that asking one of them would be able to give her some information, but they all knew practically as much as anyone else. As more blue haired girls were added, the other members began strangely staring at how similar they looked (they also would occasionally glance at her, but she just assumed that it was because she was the first person they each had contact with).
Her small army assembled, she began explaining her plan, “Okay, so our plan is to go through that door over there,” she pointed to the large metal door where the strange clothed man had taken the first normal blue haired woman, “and try to find a way out. If there are any guards, I hope that those of you who are better equipped will deal with them so us less capable people may be able to escape. They can’t capture all of us!” She finished, hoping that her speech was rousing enough to get them to help her.
It really wasn’t, the crowd of people staring at one another in confusion, clearly expecting something better than that. Sighing, she said, “I’ll make it worth it to anyone who manages to escape with me?” This wasn’t much better, but they seemed at the very least slightly more willing to help, so she walked her group over to the large door. Grabbing the handle attached to the door, she pulled it open, revealing…

An empty metallic hallway, how anti-climatic. Anyway, the group took all of two steps out of the door before an alarm began ringing. “Run!” She commanded, hopping down the hallway as fast as she could, most of her army running ahead of her. Occasionally a member of her group would tumble to the floor, a large muscular fellow holding on to them, but that did not stop her group. They passed through a variety of hallways, some metallic, some decorated with wood, some looked like mineshafts (poor lighting and all), others looked like a hallway you would find in any normal sort of business. Her team continued to be whittled down, until it was just her hopping desperately. The hallway eventually fed into a staircase, which was more difficult to hop up, but she dare not stop for fear of the sounds of footstep behind her. She climbed and climbed for what felt like ages, the sounds behind her remaining constant and staircase just kept going up-

There it was, a trapdoor at the top of the staircase. Knowing that this could potentially be the only way out, and that there were guards quickly gaining on her, she threw her weight against the trapdoor, flinging herself up and into the room beyond.
