The newest room in the tour of the Mercurin Manor was unlike any room the group had seen before. For starters, the walls of the room were all painted black, the only light in the room coming from candles on the wall, and moonlight that came through a larger stained glass window, leading to an overall much more sinister tone to the room. The sole pieces of furniture in the room were rows upon rows of black pews, and a black altar in the front of the room adorned with a red cloth.
“This is the chapel that Adam Mercurin had installed within the house. After becoming too frail to be able to go into town and take part in the weekly sermon, he had this room built and hired his own personal priest. This stained glass window,” she said, waiving towards the glass window, which was patterned to show a man cut into multiple pieces surrounded by  “Was specifically designed by Adam’s wife, Eveline Mercurin, who based it upon a legend passed along the Mercurin family of a warrior who was immune to blades.”

The group shuffled forward to the front pews, all packing into a single row, where Heather asked, “So why exactly have you brought us here?”
“Well, clearly, y’all don’t have your morals in the correct place, seeing as how y’all disobeyed me, so I called the priest to come in and give a special sermon on the importance of following the rules.”

Suddenly, the candles were blown out, leaving the only light in the room coming from the moon and the stained glass window. A strange chill came over the room as an organ began to play, announcing the presence of a new ghost. This ghost wore the classic priest robes with a red trim to them. As he began relighting the candles, the main doors to the room opened once more, as tens of ghosts began to flood into the room, all in different uniforms and configurations.
Soon, the lights were all lit once more, and all of the pews were jammed pack with ghosts. Scarlett, stepping up from her seat with the rest of the group, walked up to stand next to the altar, as she would have to act as a translator for the non-ghost congregation. As the priest ghost began to moan, Scarlett began to speak, mimicking the ghost’s hand gestures as well. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m afraid I had to call y’all here today so that we can discuss a problem that has been going around the house.”
Various mumblings were heard around the room from the various ghosts. “And that is that there seems to be a large amount of disobedience from those occupying this house. Not only does this apply to these mortals here, who disobeyed in order as a matter of necessity, but to a number of this undead congregation as well. For instance, Frank, I know you stole several coins from the Chiron relief fund two weeks ago at sermon, or Lucy, who accidentally destroyed Petunia’s flowers a month ago, or …” at this point, the priest had stopped mumbling, but it seemed as though Scarlet was using this pause in his speech to bring about a personal vendetta against several of the ghostly members, “…or Stacey, who nearly shut us down last year thanks to a prank she wants dot pull on the tour group. Or how about Coco? Who thought it would be a good idea to give her pets some growth hormones and nearly infested the house? Or-“ Eventually, the stares she was getting from the priest and congregation caused her to stop listing her grievances.
“*Ahem*, Anyway continue priest,” Scarlett said, embarrassment clearly flushing over her face. The pastor began groaning once again, as Scarlett translated once more, “Anyway, I hope that by bringing this issue to light, you, as responsible members of this congregation, will adjust your behaviors properly.” A sprinkling clapping came from across the room.
“Wow, that was completely pointless,” Lindsey whispered, leaning her head towards Heather’s.
“Yeah, the crowd seems pretty dead,” Heather snickered, causing Lindsey to giggle as they turned their attention back to Scarlett and the priest once more.
“Anyway, now let’s get on to the main reason I called this special congregation…”

    What’s going to happen next?
    1.) Sacrifice! Sacrifice!
    2.) I’m married to a ghost?
    3.) An old fashioned Exorcism
