“Honey! It’s time to get up for school,” Trent’s mother called from downstairs.

“Coming Mom!” Trent was all packed and ready for the school day. Heading upstairs, he entered upon the kitchen, where his girlfriend, Rosa, was sitting at the empty table.

“Morning honey,” Rosa turned around from her position over the oven, the table was decked with food, “I made you breakfast.” Her red hair reflected the sun rays perfectly as they entered the window.

“Thanks dear.” Trent sat down at the table, pulling over a heaping plate of blueberry pancakes, his favorite. Rosa and Trent had been dating for nearly 3 years, and had moved in with one another 2 years ago, after Trent’s mother left on a vac- died in a car accident. “Can you pass the sugar?”

“Sure sweety-pie.” Rosa handed the sugar so that Trent could sweeten his amazing oatmeal. He wished Rosa had cooked some pancakes, but was glad that Rosa considered his health.

The two began eating breakfast silently across from one another. “Umm… Dear, a little help?” Rosa was struggling to use her feet to bring her spoon of cereal to her mouth.

“Sure honey,” after Rosa had lost her head in a tragic incident with a fake magician, it was a miracle of science that had allowed her to survive. Thankfully, Trent didn’t allow that to end their relationship, being able to communicate in sign language to the robotic device that replaced her head, allowing her to see, but not speak or talk.

Grabbing the spoon, he lifted down her panties, revealing a perfectly fine working mouth where her genitalia would be. It was nice to have someone to talk to, even if that someone couldn’t hear what was said back.

“Trent! Not right now!” Trent pulled away his hand, he had blanked out, as had tended to happen when blinded by the brilliant beauty of his blue-haired girlfriend, and had been reaching for her panties.

“I can’t help myself! You’re just so foxy!”

“Boo! You always use that pun.” Trent had been graced with the luck of the gods, finding the only anthropomorphic fox ever known to human kind. As much as he would have loved to share his discovery with the world, her companionship was equal to any of amount of money he’d get by selling her out.

“Why don’t we take this back to the bedroom?” His two dicks were raging inside his pants, aching to get out and attack his wife’s twin vaginas.

“Maybe later, I don’t want to get my work clothes dirty,” Rosa said, walking in through the kitchen door. She was on her way to her morning job, her brown hair tied in a professional looking ponytail.

“Just wait a moment Rosa, we never talk anymore!” John grabbed for her hand, only for her entire arm to fall off!

Rosa's body turned around, a look of shock on the single-eyed head in Trent's hands. “Did you just pull my head off Trent?”

“I-i-i didn’t mean to Rosa!” He dropped the offending leg.

“You know how long it takes to cast the glue spell. What in the world possessed you to remove my hand and throw it into drain?”

“Just give me a minute, I can fish it out.” He plunged his hand in, safely pulling out the offending obj- only for the garbage disposal to activate and begin chewing through his hand.

Thankfully, Rosa had managed to pull her hand out of the wreckage that was Trent and their living room. Nobody could have expected that somebody was crazy enough to actually plant a pipe bomb inside of a roll of toothpaste.

“Did you say something?” Trent asked his mother. Rosa, his next door neighbor’s toddler, was out in the back playing with their pet, Fido.

“You know very well what I said mister. Now it’s nappy time.” Rosa announced, scooping the toddler into her arms. He would never admit it to anyone at his kindergarden, but Trent had a massive crush on his babysitter.

“Ross. You know I love you dearly, but you need to stop taking naps in the middle of the day!” Trent said to his lover.

Ross groggily arose from the bed, “Trina. The reason I nap so dang much is because I have to work two jobs to support you. Not everyone can be blessed by being born limbless and having someone take care of them for their entire lives.”

Their shabby apartment contrasted greatly with the victorian era clothing Trent and Rosa were wearing. One would never guess it, but some good business investments made the young couple one of the richest the world had ever seen.

“Rosa, I don’t want you working no more. The men at work have been making fun of me and I won’t allow it in my household!” Their CRT TV played the newest children’s show, Sesame Street, and their two children were watching, transfixed.

“At least one of us has a job, Trent!” Their house was run-down, and filled to the brim with children. Trent had just been fired, meaning that the tight allowance they had would be stretched even further. More than likely he would have to begin dumpster diving again. Grabbing a beer from the fridge, he sat down at the crowded dining room table.

The kitchen table was empty, as was the rest of the house. Trent was worried he had overslept, but his clock clearly indicated otherwise. Exiting his home, he looked around the world in his pajamas. He wouldn’t say his street was ever actually active, but it usually wasn’t so dead silent. Even his neighbors, who had been partying “all through the night” the night before had been dead quiet. He returned to his home, opening the door, to see a familiar face standing in his dining room. “Rosa!” It was the new girl to his school. He was a bit shocked to see her, finding her unapproachable as there were always heaps of guys begging for her attention everyday. He wouldn’t admit it to anyone, but he had the biggest crush on her, and would probably do anything to be with her.

“Trent,” Rosa said, “There’s something I have to tell you, and I know that you probably won’t even remember this. But I feel that you deserve the truth, so I’m going to set everything to normal for this.”

Trent was now even more confused. Why was Rosa in his house? She was the quiet kid at school, hardly ever speaking a word to anyone. Some kids joked that she was a serial killer or a freak based upon the fact that kids seemed to always decide to move away whenever they were mean to her. It would always be the same thing, “My parents got a promotion at their job, so we’re moving away,” like robots.

Trent never saw why everyone was so mean to her. That stuff always seemed circumstantial to him. Besides he was a huge fan of short girls with nerdy glasses.

“So … why are you here? Where is everyone?”

“Trent! I love you!” She leaped towards him, tackling him to the ground, her blond hair flying everywhere. After a moment of shock, Trent began reciprocating the feeling, fulfilling his wish of getting to first base with his crush.

Eventually, Rosa broke the kiss, breaking down and sobbing from the back of her throat. Trent, shocked, asked, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s just … I’ve done so many things. So many terrible things. Not just to you, b-b-but … to everyone! I can’t control it, it just happens and …”

“Whoa! Slow down! What happens?”

“Trent, I just want you to know. No matter who or what I sleep with, I will always love you the most. More-so than any other person, or thing, in any dimension.”

“Rosa! What are you talking about! You’re scaring me.”

“Trent … it won’t even matter if I tell you. You won’t believe me. And even if I did tell you, you’d ask for some proof, and I know that I will never be able to prove it *sob* Because as soon as I do, you’ll have never learnt it.”

“Rosa! Just tell me! I promise I won’t do what you think I’ll do.”

After a long pause…

“Trent…

I can…

change reality.”

Trent, pausing for only a moment, leaned in close and whispered into her ear:

“I believe you.”

“Trent! Trent! Get up Trent! You’ll be late for school!” His mother shouted from downstairs.

Trent, wriggled out of bed. He had wished Rosa had helped him out the night before, but she had been too afraid of her father to stay the night, leaving him in the limbless state he was in now. Thankfully, he had trained enough to be able to attach his limbs by himself, so he wasn’t completely helpless.

“Bye mom! I’m off to school!” He called as he prepared to jump out the front door and into the endless abyss below.

Stepping into the daylight, he saw Rosa waiting outside, head in her hand. “Have I ever told you how lucky I am to have a dullahan for a girlfriend?”

'If only he knew how lucky he really was,' Rosa thought, her second head kissing him on the cheek while her other head continued speaking into her phone
