It was thanks to that initial adventure that sparked the long relationship between Bernice, Juliet, and Nate. Over the next few years, the three would spend almost every day within his laboratory, testing new fantastical inventions and new forms for one another. Even college would not hold the three apart, as they managed enough of a meager salary to hold an apartment.

    It was on a sunny Tuesday several years after college that Nate finally got the courage to ask, “Will you marry me?”

    Bernice’s response was, of course, yes.

    After an amazing ceremony, which would have been incomplete without her lovely bridesmaids, Penny and Jessica, the couple was off to Venice.

    One of Nate’s friend had recommended the “Bird-eye view” tour, so they had the wings installed on their heads the night before (Bernice chose blue bird’s. Nate, eagle’s) and flew high above the city of Venice.

    The couple returned to their hotel room, where Juliet and Nate’s body were awaiting patiently, and reattached their heads to their respective body’s.

    After removing their wings, Bernice left the room, stating, “I’m off to the marketplace. See you in a bit.”

    But that, is a story for another time.
