The next few hours were of exploration and enjoyment as Bernice and Juliet interacted in their new bodies. However, everything must come to an end eventually, and it was at 5 in the morning when Nate brought the two into his lab and showed off the fancy setup he had suspended Bernice’s body in. It was a large glass tank filled with water, with wires connecting to the neck of Juliet.

    “Okay, your body’s all done. Your head should be done in a couple of minutes, but I think it would be better to transfer Juliet now so she can get used to having a body again.”

    Juliet communicated Nate’s message to Bernice telepathically, and both girls agreed to Nate’s plan.

    Plugging the strange tubular device from earlier, into his clone’s head, he pressed some buttons and the eyes closed.

    Meanwhile, in the tank Juliet began to twitch. It was a strange sensation to be floating in water, and she instinctively began to hold her breath, before realizing that she was breathing just fine without a head earlier. The silence was very relaxing…

    “Okay,” Nate said a few minutes later, “Now let’s get you back into your head.”
