A gloved hand pushed Bernice’s body into the room. The man had been kind enough to untie her bonds, but had refused to remove whatever substance was blocking her vision still.
Bernice felt the air of the door closing as the man left the room, leaving her to her own devices.
‘Might as well explore’ she thought, backing up until she hit the door.
By working her way along the wall, she managed to discover the room was pretty barren, having only 2 doors, one of wood and the other of sheet metal, and nothing else attached to the metallic walls.
Gathering the courage, Bernice stretched her arms outwards and began moving towards the center of the room. Eventually, she hit what appeared to be the only thing in the room, a metal table.
Groping her hands around, she hit a round object. Rubbing her hands around it, she was able to recognize her head by the contours of her face. Placing it off to the side, she continued searching and found a similar round object.
Rubbing her hands over it, she recognized the object as her head again…
‘Wait … what?’
Suddenly, something was slammed down upon her neck stump.
