"Bernice! You're going to be late for school!" An elderly woman of age 65 yelled upstairs.

Bernice was an average high-schooler; aged 17; auburn hair; 5’ 11’’; and ready to take on the world. Except for this morning. She had been up all-night preparing for her math final, and had nearly overslept when her grandmother had called up for her to wake up. Groggily, Bernice got up, attempting to rub the sleep out of her eyes. It was when her hands missed her face that she realized something was wrong.

Opening her eyes, Bernice saw a stranger sitting upon the edge of her bed, where she thought she was sitting … ‘Wait’ Bernice thought. She tried to turn her body around, only for the body on the bed to imitate her attempted actions. It was then that she realized that this body and her body must be one and the same.

“AAAAGGGHHH!” Bernice screamed at the top of her lungs. Her body toppled to the floor.

“What’s wrong!” her grandmother shouted up, “I’ll be up in a moment.”

Bernice’s body shakily stood up. “I’m fine Gram, no need to come up.” This is going to be an interesting day.
