It all happened on one faithful day. Nick was preparing for an epic get together party for him and his friend at his home. All of his closest friends, Brad, Sam, Wes, and Hiros were all coming over for a long weekend of games and movies. The last time they had gathered it was due to Azalea’s Pokemon beach time experiments, though Nick assured everyone that this was just going to be a regular get together, no transformations at all. Everyone did seem a bit disappointed in that, but Nick told them that transforming would lose its magic if they did it all the time.
Nick wanted Azalea and even Nagisa to tag along (even the presence of the two would 100% make this a transformation filled adventure), but the two said they had their own get together, in another dimension no less. So Azalea and Nagisa had left Earth, maybe for a week or so if what Azalea told Nick was anything to go by. Nick spent most of the week leading up to the event preparing food, making sure everyone had their own bed and room, and making extra sure Azalea didn’t leave any surprises in the drinks.
Finally the day came. It was approaching lunch time on that autumn day when Nick heard the doorbell ring. Much to his surprise, his first guest was Hiros.
“Hiros?” Nick said, a bit confused and surprised.
“What, were you expecting someone else?” Hiros chuckled.
“Well… considering you’re the only non-American of our group, I assumed you wouldn’t be the first.”
“Really? No one else is here yet?”
“Yup.” The two friends stared at each other awkwardly. “Um, why don’t you come in? The rest should be here before dinner tonight.”
Nick let Hiros in and the two began chatting mostly to alleviate the awkwardness of the exchange from earlier and shared some stories of what their fellow magical roommates had been doing recently. Their conversation would eventually though be interrupted by the sounds of another knocking on the door to which Nick got up and answered it, there behind the door was Brad. “Hey Nick, how have you been?” He asked with a smile to which Nick answered, “Oh I’ve been doing fine. Come on Brad, Hiros is already inside.” Brad seemed a bit surprised like Nick had been since he knew Hiros to be from Austria. “Huh, I couldn’t have predicted he’d be here before everyone else.” He stepped inside to which Hiros gave a small wave from where he sat. “Admittedly I didn't think I’d be here before everyone else either.” Hiros commented back as he went to the kitchen to get a drink.
Brad proceeded to settle down in the living room as Nick decided to start gathering some snacks for the early guests while Hiros settled with a juice he’d gotten from the fridge. “So how have you been doing Hiros?” Brad asked as he looked at the Austrian who took a sip before answering. “Been busy doing a lot of regular and story writing.” Brad nodded in return as Nick sat down with a bowl of small pretzels which he more than happily took a few to munch on while they were waiting for other guests. About half an hour passed before another knock would be heard, Nick left the bowl behind for Hiros and Brad when he went to go answer it and this time the person who awaited him was Sam. “Why if it isn’t the dog in the flesh, leave your fur behind at home?” Nick said teasingly to which Sam rolled his eyes, “Very funny Nick, so is everyone else already here?” Nick shook his head. “Nah you’re the third here which means we’re still waiting on Wes to arrive, I already have a bowl of pretzels out if you want any snacks while we wait for dinner time.” Nick brought Sam inside and Sam decided to settle in with Brad and Hiros on the couch where the three chatted with each other a small bit while enjoying the hard pretzels. Nick meanwhile decided to get the drinks out proper so that he and his friends could enjoy them easier without having to dig them out of his fridge. Nick decided to get a juice for himself to enjoy as well since he was feeling a tad parched and his friends were already indulging as well.
Nick was just about to open up a can for himself when he received the final knock on the door and answered the door to be greeted with Wes’s familiar face. “Sorry for being a bit late Nick, I just decided to gather up a few items of my own to bring over.” He rolled his left shoulder upon which hung a large purple tote bag. “It’s mostly just some card game stuff for anyone who might be interested in playing with it since I imagined a few of us might prefer to play stuff other than video games.” Wes stepped inside shortly after Nick moved aside. “Hey Wes!” Brad called out waving from the couch. “Hey Brad!” Wes gave a small wave back before settling in with everyone taking up a juice that was on the counter and setting the bag down by the couch. The group now all together started sharing in a brief and lively chat talking about recent events and how they’ve been handling themselves. The atmosphere was as jovial and warm as could be between the group of friends as they reminisced about some of the ridiculous things they’d been through lately with Nick taking his first sip for the night.
It wasn’t long until they started to focus their attention on other activities. They started their long night of gaming with Mario Kart. Since they were five of them, they took turns having the loser switch out with whoever wasn’t playing at the time. Due to his epic gamer skills not being so hot, Sam found himself being switched in and out of almost every race, but that didn’t bother him. Everyone was in good spirits and were having too good of a time to get salty over a few losses. After a few hours of Mario Kart, they began to switch to other games but none held their attention as much and they kept swapping around.
“We can do some Smash Bros, we can get five people to play that,” Wes suggested as the conversation shifted to what they should play next. Brad was already on it looking through the drawer Nick kept all his Switch games in.
“Actually,” Nick spoke up, interrupting Brad. “I got an idea. I can hook up Azalea’s PC to the TV and we can play a game we have been developing together?” Everyone else looked at each and then back at Nick, each sharing a different expression. Some seemed excited while others remained suspicious.
“A game made by you and Azalea? I thought you said we weren’t getting transformed,” Hiros half-joked.
“Nah, it won’t. The characters in the game will, but we haven’t programmed it to transform players yet!”
“You want me to go get it?” Brad suddenly suggested. He had been a bit quiet up to that point.
“Um… if you want, I would appreciate it. I got to set up the TV anyways,” Nick said. “Her PC should be to the right of the stairs next to a big machine. Just go through the settings and choose to ‘link to TV’.” Brad nodded at the instructions and marched downstairs. He hadn’t been to Nick and Azalea’s lab all that often and was surprised just how big it was. It was to the point that there were maps on the walls designating areas and where things were which were helpful for Brad.
He turned right as he reached the bottom of the steps and immediately noticed the giant machine Nick was referring to. Brad looked around but there was nothing that looked like a PC to him. A smaller but still large machine next to the big machine had its screen on with various sticky notes on top. He recognized the handwriting as Azalea’s and chuckled to himself as he read the notes.
“The password is &8hejcnxDfbh*2#! P.S Make sure to remove this note!”
“If you for some reason activate the device and things feel weird, contact me immediately!”
There were some other strange notes there, but Brad didn’t pay them that much mind, thinking these were related to some other device. He entered the first password and began looking through the files. There were some strange options and he was not entirely sure exactly what he was looking for. One setting stood out to him though.
“Poke-World?” Brad said out loud as he looked at the option. “Ah, I guess they were making a Pokemon game. Welp, I think I just selected it and…” Another screen appeared asking if Brad was sure he wanted to select this option. A few more popups appeared before a final password screen appeared. Brad snooped around the notes but quickly found the password. He hit enter and smiled as the machine made a roaring noise with screen blanking “change in progress”.
“Well, I guess that’s what Nick wanted me to do~” He hummed as he walked back up the stairs.
After Brad finished with his work with the machine downstairs he would make the trip back up to see Nick still working on the TV to prepare it for linking up with the PC. Nick took a break from the set up when he heard Brad come upstairs, “Oh hey you finished setting up the PC?” Brad nodded. “Yeah though Azalea sure has a weird PC, pretty dang big and the settings were a bit odd but I think I found the game you were talking about!” Nick couldn’t help but feel a bit confused since he was just going to select the game after the PC was linked to the TV but he shrugged and assumed Brad had just taken a peek ahead of time before finishing up with preparing the TV to receive the PC’s link signal.
However after he finished and waited a minute he saw it still wasn’t connected and proceeded to look over at Brad. “I’m not getting a signal… Did you select ‘Link to TV’?” As Nick asked the question his hair began to subtly grow longer while Brad meanwhile got just a little bit shorter, though not noticeably so as he responded. “Oh… I didn’t see that option.” This caused Nick to narrow his eyes at Brad as he soon realized that Brad hadn’t actually found the PC and likely messed with something else that could potentially cause problems tonight. “Brad…” He uttered looking rather upset with his friend for poking into things he probably shouldn’t have. The changes were affecting the group as a whole though no one noticed it yet as they all started in small ways as eyelashes grew longer and some experienced hair growth as well and others became slightly smaller and were continuing to lose height at a slow but steady pace.
It wasn’t until Nick’s hair had suddenly grown all the way down to his shoulders in a sudden spurt that it had been noticed that they were changing as Wes pointed out. “Hey Nick, was your hair always that long?” The prompting led to Nick quickly brushing his hand through his hair and realizing that it had grown a good bit longer and silkier as he shook his head. “Definitely not, gosh darn it Brad just what did you mess with down there?!” Brad once again shrugged through looking a bit more panicked now. “It was a big machine but not the biggest one there and it had a bunch of sticky notes all over it including the password. I just kinda assumed it was the PC since people sometimes have habits of leaving notes on their computer with their password if they’re forgetful. Plus the password looked pretty complicated so I assumed it was there for that reason.” Nick was trying to race through his mind to remember what machine that could possibly be but as his drink began to change color from red to a pale yellow it began to be a bit hard with his brain already feeling the effects of sluggishness from the alcohol he’d been indulging that night. “Alright well let’s go down there and just try and fix this!” He began heading down the stairs with his friends following behind as the changes continued with Nick’s face feminizing and his body’s frame becoming overall smaller and slenderer.
Everyone began to notice the changes that were occurring, mostly that ones each other had but not themselves. They had always looked the way they did… right? Something was clearly wrong, but they couldn’t put a finger on what exactly was happening, and with Nick starting to get drunk off of… juice, or sake, they weren’t even sure anymore. In fact, the world around them seemed to look different. Everything was still artificial but it looked more natural then tech heavy. Metal became wood, roots were forming… they weren’t the only ones transforming which made them panic even more. Nick noticed these changes as well and while his mind was losing quickly to these occurrences, he did manage to reach one conclusion.
“Ah, Brad, did you *hic* touch the reality altering thingy?”
Everyone froze as it dawned on them what could be happening. “Ah…” Nick suddenly let out a loud moan which was followed by a really telling change. His face began to push out into a strange shaped muzzle. A creamy fur had begun to hug his face and spread across his body while everything from his nostrils to his back began to be covered in a violet fur color. Everyone but Hiros recognized what Nick was and while their mind struggled with the idea that he might not have always been this way, the strange changes and him mentioning a reality altering device made them second guess themselves.
“Nick, how do we turn it off!” Wes rushed up to Nick and grabbed him by the shirt. Everyone gasped at Wes’ hands becoming more… fluffy but he didn’t seem to notice.
“*Hic* Um… well, you shouldn’t touch it *hic*. I think that would be bad~” Nick laughed.
“Brad, what was the device you activated?” Wes turned to Brad. At this point, everyone had begun to become quite fluffy, all except Hiros though whose skin was pale white. Brad didn’t say anything and rushed down the stairs, everyone tailing behind him. Wes had to drag Nick with him, being the last two to ascend the stairs. As he pulled him down, he watched in awe and horror as Nick’s shirt began to push out. Wes knew exactly what was being formed under Nick’s shirt… mostly since the boobs became so big that they tore a hole right through it.
As the group raced down the stairs to the machine lead by Brad their changes seemed to progress as the group felt their bodies change further with each step becoming more and more feminine. Wes’s hair had grown long enough to reach down to his mid-back and was kind of fluffy, Sam had gained a definitively feminine body as his limbs had all become slim and dainty and his steps seemed to carry an engraved grace that came with the reality slowly changing, Brad had also grown a pair of boobs of his own that jiggled with each step down the stairs (thankfully though it was hard for everyone else to see since his back was turned to them), and Hiros experienced the shift from male to female on the way down and gave it away with a moan that he couldn’t really suppress. Though by the time the group had hit the bottom of the steps they were all full blown women and they were having a hard time trying to remember that they weren’t in fact always this way as looking at each other it was hard to deny that they definitely weren’t guys.
Nick meanwhile had completely changed on the way down the stairs having become a Hisuian Typhlosion woman with large tits and a set of smothering thighs which could double as a pillow and she was wearing an autumn leaf kimono which hugged her body instead of the destroyed clothing she had on earlier. She also was pretty drunk since reality had changed to make it so that she had been drinking sake instead of juice the entire night so far and she occasionally muttered and babbled to Wes which was throwing the slightly furry woman off. “Nicole, please take a seat.” She guided her over to a nearby pillow where she sat her down on her knees leaving Nicole with a small bowl of sake which had previously been a glass of juice a few minutes ago. Meanwhile the others looked at Wes in confusion as Sam stated, “Wait, isn't her name supposed to be Nick?” When the question was brought up it seemed to just cause more confusion as they realized they couldn’t quite remember if in fact Nicole had been called Nick before as the effects of the reality change seemed to become stronger. “We can’t worry about it now, at this point we need to figure out how to reverse this!” Wes said slightly panicked since she could already see more changes occurring with her friends as Brad quickly walked up to the machine she had messed with and put in the password.
When they turned it on they quickly found the Poke-World option that Brad had selected earlier, “This was the thing I had picked I thought it was the game Nicole had mentioned!” Wes shook her head in response. “Well yeah it definitely wasn’t the case here. So I guess we’re currently changing into pokemon women, at least that much seems obvious considering we all aren’t guys anymore.” She sighed. Hiros meanwhile overheard that they were turning into pokemon and complained, “But I don’t want to be a furry!” Which earned her an annoyed look from Wes. “I think there are worse things than being a furry that can come from this. Oh shoot, do you think this is affecting the entire world?!” She had the realization as the fur on her hands had completely overtaken her arms now while Brad meanwhile had her ears change, becoming elongated and sitting atop her head. “I didn’t consider that! I don’t know where the cancellation option is but we can at least keep the changes contained right?” She quickly began shifting through the options and found the affected location settings and quickly selected the world option in an attempt to deselect it. However, unfortunately the girls soon got a message from the machine stating that the operation area had been successfully changed and now the entire world was going to be reality shifted.
“Crap!” Brad exclaimed as a loading bar showing how much the world had been altered appeared. She went to try to disable the option again, but stopped before her finger could even hit the panel. Everyone grasped their heads, all except Nicole and looked at her friends with confusion.
“*Hic* Is something wrong? Ah, you didn’t drink mah sanky *hic*, right?” She babbled. Brad and the others tried their best to cling onto the reality they knew, but the problem is, that reality was the new one forming around them. It wasn’t long until the question if they were human was if humans even existed until the thought of was that humans were just fictional and looked a lot like fairies for some reason. They were dazed and didn’t even react to the changes, not like they would think they had changed at all.
Everyone but Hiros was now a furry fluffball, with Wes being the fluffiest of them all. She grew quite a bit bigger, having a heavyset body structure. Her hands and feet went through more drastic changes than the others. She lost quite a few digits on her feet and her hands were a lot more like claws as they changed. Cute paw pads form on both her hands and feet and with those pointed ears on her head, she was now the most adorable Snorlax in the world. Wes also underwent another quite drastic change, as her clothes became a purple kimono, a gift from her relatives back in Japan, Wes’ new heritage in this altered reality. She also kept her eyes closed as her eyelids became more relaxed and returned to their natural state.
Hiros underwent the least drastic changes of them all, compared to the others at least. She lost a few of her digits on her hands and her feet became very pointed, one could argue she didn’t even have feet anymore- or rather, she always lacked feet. Her hair had changed to green and looked like a bar of music with even blue dots for the notes. Her face became quite flat as well with no visible nose. A strange appendage formed near her right ear looking a lot like a headphone with a mic. Finally, her clothes had changed to that of an idol pop star’s, reflecting her new passion in this reality. She couldn’t help but briefly hum out a tune to make sure her vocal chords weren’t out of shape from the entire time she spent chatting with her friends and she proved to be naturally melodic as usual.
If Sam realized she was being transformed into a delphox, she would have gotten all giddy. Though this Sam would probably get giddy at the thought of transforming into a human, something she desperately wished were real. She lost all of her head hair, but with the floof covering her body, that didn’t matter too much. The floof coming out of her ears more than made up for losing what remained of her human self. A tail grew from above her ass and a muzzle formed (complete with an embarrassed blush). Her clothes became that of a Chinese Dress, but everyone could tell she was still an American with an obsession with Asain clothing.
Finally Brad, who was the last to lose the mental war with a force she had no hope of stopping. Unlike the rest, her clothes didn’t change much, mostly conforming to her new form. Besides the floof, the tail, and of course the larger ears with a ton of floof, several bows and streamers made of flesh sprouted from her body. Brad had full control of these appendages and they immediately calmed everyone in the room.
The world around them was going through various changes, all starting at Nicole’s house. The changes from upstairs had leaked into every room. While the general layouts remained the same, the contents didn’t. The lab had become far more traditional and fantastical, appearing more like a witch’s lab than one of a magical scientist. Computers and other devices remained, but they now seemed to be made out of wood, unlike the reality altering machine that remained the same. The house became far more… Japanese, reflecting Nicole’s new heritage. The house had both Japanese and a western flavor to it and Nicole in this reality didn’t seem afraid to have small nicknacks from Japan… or a bottle of sake on nearly every shelf~
Meanwhile as the changes spread to the world at large the more archaic stylings that had formed in Nicole’s house started to become the general style of life for those nearby as houses became less metallic and more focused on classic wooden construction, some of them being outright grown from a tree and carefully shaped by the occupants. Of course those occupants were freaked out by the sudden changes to their houses and selves until suddenly they realized that nothing had actually changed at all and continued their routines. Though this didn’t mean that steel at large had been completely removed from the world as in other parts of the world there were bustling metropolis areas which had been formed through the refining of minerals gained from the more abundant cavern formations in the world. These metropolises have been formed by the larger majority of electric and steel type pokemon people in the world who sought to improve the standard of living around the world. Of course though Nicole happened to live in a location that preferred to stick to more traditional methods of construction though it didn’t stop Nicole from having metals imported by her roommate to construct the reality altering machine. This was no longer a world of humans, but a world of Pokemon. Though at this point that didn’t really matter to the drunk typhlosion who simply held up her cup and asked. “Sho are we gunna keep partyin’ or what *hic*?” Which was followed by another hiccup from her.
The first to respond was Leila who walked over to Nicole and gently set a paw on her shoulder. “Nicole, you've been drinking sake all night so far, you might want to dial it back a bit or you’re going to have a killer headache in the morning.” Nicole simply huffed in response, “I can handle my alcohol! I don’t need to shtop I can take more! *hic*” Leila shook her head and got Nicole onto her feet which briefly led to a stumble in which the typhlosion woman leaned on the snorlax. Savoia then rolled her eyes before asking the drunk woman, “Well can you at least point out Azalea’s computer?” Nicole looked over and pointed at a machine next to the reality altering device. “Ya mean *hic* dat?” Savoia facepalmed since she had missed it in her haste earlier as she turned it on, went to settings and found the thing she’d been asked to find, the “Link to TV” setting which she selected. “Alright we should be good down here. Now we can play that game Nicole was talking about earlier, not that she could tell us much about it in that state.” She said looking at the drunk typhlosion woman who at this point had been lifted by Leila into a piggy back, laying her head on the snorlax’s shoulder, eyes shut as a sudden bout of drowsiness had seemingly overcome her.
The group of girls proceeded to head back upstairs and settle around the television with Leila taking the time to set Nicole off on the floor with a row of pillows under her so that she could rest. “Alright, that's enough drinks for tonight Nicole.” Nicole could only muster the strength enough to give a small retort since she felt really really tired, “Ahhh… You meanie…” After that she quickly settled on the pillows and seemed to fall asleep. Meanwhile Samantha helped navigate the now linked PC menus on the TV and pointed out a game that the group definitely didn’t recognize. “This must be the game!” Hera stated excitedly, her energy still pretty high from just her personality alone. “Yup, this oughta be fun~” Savoia chipped in as they selected to boot up the game and get to playing.
The game was quite strange. If the five knew what had just happened, they would know the game was unaffected by the reality change. Samantha held the controller in her hands, waiting eagerly with her friends for the title screen to show up.
“So, what kind of game is this?” Samantha turned to ask Nicole.
“Eh?” The drunk typhlosion replied, revealing that she’d still been at least somewhat awake.
“Oh right,” the delphox couldn’t help but chuckle at Nicole. Even if she was sober, she would likely fail at the very game she helped make. Nicole was always the loser of their Mario Kart tournaments.
The title screen then appeared, a cute image of Azalea and Nagisa appeared next to the title “Placeholder name, still can’t decide on what.” Everyone giggled.
“Wow, that’s a great name for a game,” Savoia said. With a press of the start button, Samantha found herself taking control of Azalea in a very generic RPG looking town. There wasn’t much to do other than to talk to some NPCs and enter a few houses. A few of the characters stood out to them though. All the characters were humans or strange hybrids of human and fictional animals (well, humans are too). Mainly the ones named “Nick, Hiros, Brad, Wes, and Sam”. It wasn’t very clear for the names Brad and Wes, but the rest seemed to be male counterparts to the rest's names.
“Wow, Azalea made me a human in this game? That’s awesome!” Samantha giggled and got even more excited when she realized Sam was recruitable.
“Knowing Azalea, this is likely a transformation fetish game or something, I doubt you’ll remain that way for long,” Hera said. Samantha glared at the meloetta before resuming to search the game for more secrets. They found a door that needed a password to open and while Nicole claimed she knew what it was, her slurring of words led them nowhere. So instead of deciding to waste time brute forcing the password they decided to move on and maybe bring it up when Nicole was sober.
So the group played the game for many hours that night with Samantha seething a bit when Hera’s prediction had come true about Sam not staying human which wasn’t helped when Hera decided to give a barely suppressed giggle. Though the fight didn’t really get a chance to start thanks to Savoia and Leila working together to calm them down and keep them apart allowing them all to return to the game, though it didn’t serve to ease Samantha’s frustration for not keeping Sam human. Though as they progressed through the night having the occasional laugh and with the group occasionally talking about some of the transformations that occurred in the game they eventually all hit the end of the currently still incomplete game. “Aww looks like that’s it.” Leila commented first, seeming a tad disappointed the venture was over so suddenly as she took an interest in the events and transformations that occurred to the characters. “Well even if it’s unfinished I think that’s a pretty fun game~” Savoia said as she stretched out her arms and legs to get rid of the stiff feeling in them from sitting around so long. Samantha meanwhile grumbled a little. “I still would have liked it if I could have turned Sam back into a human…” Hera giggled in response to Samantha’s sulking. “Well it is Azalea, since she decided to make the game in this direction it really was inevitable now wasn’t it?” Samantha shot Hera another glare before going back to sulking. All the while Nicole was snoring away having fallen asleep a few hours ago.
Soon the girls were all gathering up their belongings with Leila speaking up first. “I had fun hanging out with you girls, I hope we can all meet up again like this soon~” Savoia nodded and smiled back at her. “Same here~!” Hera would join in with a nod of her own. “Yeah I think this was a great time, though I’ve gotta get back to my career so I probably will be pretty busy, sorry girls.” Samantha shrugged. “It’s alright Hera, honestly I might not mind getting some time away from you after tonight.” She said with a tone that suggested she still was a little mad about her teasing. “Oh c’mon Samantha you can’t be mad forever about it.” Samantha turned her nose up. “I won’t but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a little grumpy about it now.” Leila stepped up and patted both of them on the head while Savoia gently touched them with her feelers. “Anyway I’ll be keeping an eye on Nicole, you girls can go ahead and go to bed without me for now.” With that Samantha and Hera would both head upstairs with Savoia making sure to keep Samantha’s bitterness levels down for the night until she’d properly let it go. Leila of course wound up staying down in the living room with Nicole who was still fast asleep though she knew that once Nicole woke up she’d be in for a hell of a hangover and prepared herself to be on the brunt end of it when the next morning came. “You really need to learn to dial back the drinking when friends are over Nicole.” Leila stated to the still sleeping Typhlosion Woman who simply murmured something in her sleep and rolled over. This got a small smile from Leila as she gently patted the side of Nicole’s head and decided to go grab a blanket for herself and Nicole so that the two could sleep up there while the other girls rested in the bedrooms. This was the start of one VERY long sleepover to be sure.
