EDIT: I want to clean up some things I got wrong to avoid any misconceptions and spread of misinformation. Deviantart said in their address they won't be using art from DA to feed their algorithm. How true that is, I don't know. They are also letting people filter A.I art out so that's good. However, I am staying the course of my decision because I don't like them double downing on A.I art. I apologize if I spread any misinformation, I just wanted to get this out there.

I will cut to the chase.

I will no longer be posting any of my TF/TG stories on Deviantart, period. If you are not in the loop, Deviantart is creating their own A.I image generator. They are using an OPT-OUT system and have been a bit hush of this sudden change. Any art can be used, and not only do you need to click a checkmark so you're art can't be used to train their algorithm, but you need to fill out an Opt-Out request.

Deviantart has been a shitty site for some time, but it's the best place for me to share my stories to the public for free. It allowed me to gain such a large audience and allow my Patreon to be as successful as it has. I can not fully abandon Deviantart, I rely on it too much to help keep this hobby of mine alive. Yet, I can't support them. Sure, I am a writer, this does not affect me as much, but I got friends who are artists who are already struggling to get off the ground and this is making matters worse for them.

So, what will happen? For one, let me make it clear that I am not going to stop writing, just posting my stories here on DA. I will continue to post previews as, admittedly, I do need DA in order to gain more patrons and attract new readers. Instead, I will now post my stories exclusively onto my Patreon.

Before you all jump to conclusions, no, I am NOT paywalling all of my stories going forward. I can make public posts that anyone can access. Any story I would had posted on Deviantart will simply have a public post instead on my Patreon. They will all have the "public" tag so they should be easy to find. I do want to apologize in advance for how clunky things might be accessing them.

Along with the previews on DA, I will make a post whenever a new public post has been made, so if you want to continue to check out my DA, check my posts to see if I posted anything public on my Patreon.

Lastly, all of my caps and stories I have already posted will remain up. There are many comments and threads in them that I don't want to delete. I also want to preserve the stories as I had originally posted them.

So that's how things will be going forward. I will continue posting previews here but nothing more. Patreon will now be my hub to share all of my content. I am not asking you to pledge and you will not need to if you are the patient type and want to read my stories for free. Thank you all for reading this post.
