Evie leaned close to Lotte, her face reflected back in a pair of half-glass, half-latex breasts. The poor Lotte was a patchwork of different transformations, each caused by a different product of the Rosewood Emporium. What had begun with a simple cursed collar (although cursed was really a matter of perspective) transforming Lotte’s body into the feminine and voluptuous figure she’d always dreamed of had led to potion after spell after artefact, the magic of each entangling with the others to leave a permanent change on Lotte’s body. Each new enchantment Evie tried, in the vague hopes of ‘resetting’ much of the magic but leaving the collar’s intact, had only made Lotte take on stranger and stranger forms.
A side-effect of the first collar had left Lotte’s body partially made of latex, the feline eternally bound in clothes that were very much a part of her, high heels and all. The next artefact, a cursed bridle, had turned her temporarily into a latex pony but left its gleaming, black hooves behind. A saddle — hoping one equine (or should that be equestrian?) change might reverse another — had turned Lotte briefly into a carousel horse. Though, rather than removing the hooves, it had only turned her legs into a fetching shade of pastel pink. Wanting more extreme measures, next Evie tried a cola-flavoured potion, turning Lotte into a (strangely feminine) drinks machine, her breasts transforming into tanks complete with nozzles. Nozzles which now remained firmly attached to Lotte’s globe-like boobs, despite the rest of her changing back.
“May I…?” Evie asked, the somewhat frustrated Lotte nodding in reply. As much as Evie’s attempts to fix things hadn’t exactly gone to plan, Lotte knew it was still mostly her fault for slipping into the Cursed section in the first place. Mostly. The werewolf witch reached out with a paw, gently touching one of Lotte’s nozzles. The snow leopard bit her lip, trying not to let out just how good it felt to have her nipples touched, their metal forms somehow extremely sensitive to the slightest touch. At least they weren’t fizzing with bubbles anymore…
With a squeak, Evie slowly twisted the nozzle, vibrations running through the glass of Lotte’s chest. A little more, then another twist, metal and glass protesting with each movement. Gradually the nozzle unscrewed until it tipped out into Evie’s palm, totally detached from the rest of Lotte, yet somehow still incredibly sensitive. Still a part of her. Somewhat carelessly, Evie set it down on a shelf, the rough wood rubbing against the metal, forcing Lotte to bite her lip again.
“You, er,” Lotte said, between gasps, “got a plan? Or are you just taking me apart for the fun of it?”
“Oh, yeah, I’ve got a plan,” Evie lied, not looking up from the other nozzle, carefully unscrewing it as well. Soon, it had popped out, leaving Lotte with twin holes in her breasts… and a weirdly hollow feeling inside. Lotte carefully reached across the glass, probing the edge of the gap, her paw-pads setting her breasts singing like a wine glass. A slight yelp, and Lotte decided not to try again.
“Alright,” Evie picked up the other nozzle, clacking them together, oblivious to the sensations Lotte was feeling as her metal nipples jostled about, “er… stay here.” Not giving Lotte a chance to protest, Evie padded away, fluffy tail swaying behind as she disappeared into the stacks of shelves.
Though she couldn’t see Evie anymore, Lotte could still get a sense of what Evie was doing, feeling her nozzles dropped onto cold metal. She concentrated, trying to make sense of the feelings: it was something rough and slightly curved. A bowl… no, a small cauldron? Then a gentle heat quickly spread through her nozzles, coming up from the metal below. As the heat grew intense, though not quite painful, Lotte felt a strangely relaxed feeling run through them. Then the sensations of the shape of them slumping, smoothing out, the two mingling together as they melted.
“Evie!” Lotte called out, not for the first time, “I really hope you know what you’re doing.”
The cauldron around her molten nipples shifted, and she felt them sloshing about, splashing up the sides and dropping back into itself. Then a fall, down into something cold, quickly solidifying into a new shape. It started at the edges, a tightening feeling as the insides cooled more slowly. A short time later and they were tipped out, landing into something warm and soft… Evie’s hands? Lotte’s legs quaked as deft fingers ran over them, brushing rough fabric back and forth until it seemed Evie was satisfied, curling her paws over them.
Soon the werewolf emerged back from the dense shelves of artefacts, a goofy smile on her face, “been a while since I’ve tried alchemy, but I think these will help!” Evie spoke with a confidence she didn’t quite deserve. She held out a hand, two discs of gold shining brightly in the warm light of the shop, each cast into the rough shape of a nipple.
“Uh, sure,” said Lotte, definitely not feeling Evie’s confidence. Still, they did look pretty good, and felt even better, and surely they’d be an improvement on the nozzles? Slightly hesitantly, she placed them on her breasts, the enchanted metal warming slightly, adjusting their shapes to perfectly match the globes, fixing themselves in place.
“Looking good!” said Evie, trying to stay positive and desperately hoping this wouldn’t backfire. Again. “I’ve imbued them with a sort of… normalising enchantment. It might not change you back all the way, but it should, kind of, even things out?”
“Riiight,” Lotte was hardly convinced, looking down at her breasts, wondering what the heck a normalising enchantment was supposed to do. Was it a trick of the light, or was the gold starting to spill out from them? A slight rippling wave of gold spreading over the globes of her chest, a flush of heat spreading with it. She gingerly reached out to touch, feeling a tingling warmth from the gold dancing to her paws as the wave continued to spread up her chest, picking up speed… and weight. Lifting her paws away, the golden glow seemed to linger on her claws, the change spreading to her arms.
As hollow globes, Lotte’s breasts had weighed next to nothing. Now they were transforming into gold, filling in the void behind, their weight started to increase. Tension spread through the glass. A tugging, straining sensation as weight gathered in front. For a moment, Lotte wondered if the glass (magical or not) was going to crack. Tiny fractures appeared, then cracks dancing across the glass surface. An instant later, gold shot through like lightning, repairing the breaks. Magic flowed more quickly, spreading out from the cracks as glass turned to gleaming metal, balancing the weight of her chest. Mercifully, they seemed to be shrinking as they changed, the magic some vague nod to the principle of conservation of mass, condensing down into something slightly more manageable though still extremely heavy. Her back started to ache, feeling the heft of her golden chest weighing down on her, pulling forward. It felt… strangely good. The way all the enchantments had, the strange forms she’d turned into dialling her sensitive up to its max, and this was no different.
“This is too much,” Lotte panted, reaching up with her paws again. Not out of curiosity, but simply to help support her hefty chest. They felt rock solid. Near-perfect curves of metal stuck awkwardly on her chest, the various straps of her garmented self doing little to support their sheer mass. Her paws cradled them, tingling again, relieving at least some of the weight. The heat in Lotte’s body continued to grow, an almost stifling feeling. A thought played at the back of her mind, growing stronger, a need to be outside… for fresh air? She didn’t really care, she just knew she had to move. Ducking past a confused Evie, Lotte’s paws still firmly held to her chest, she awkwardly stumbled towards the Emporium’s front door, staggering this way and that as she tried to balance the weight of her body.
The air outside was cool, the evening sun dropping just below the tree-line, making Lotte’s golden chest glow warmly in the half-light. Letting the door swing shut behind her, Lotte collapsed back against it. Relief washed over her, and Lotte relaxed, the ridges of the wood sinking into her latex skin. It felt as though it was supporting her, easing her aching body. The weight on her chest gradually faded, the strain on her body easing off.
“Ah, that’s better,” Lotte sighed, relaxing for the first time in a while. “Guess I can stay here for a moment—” she started to say, dropping her paws from her chest. At least, she tried to drop her paws, but her arms didn’t get the memo. They stayed where they were, cradling her chest, paws firmly stuck to her breasts.
“What the hell?” Lotte tried to tug them free, tensing and straining the muscles in her arms but only managing to twist her torso slightly, her paws adamantly clinging to her chest. Whatever magic Evie had spun this time, it had fused her paws to her chest, merged them together as if cast as one from molten gold. They remained firmly stuck no matter how much she tugged or strained, unable to lift or slide a single claw from their surface. All she’d really managed to do was tire herself out, her aching arms sluggish and tired. Why fight, though? A voice at the back of her mind whispered. Why not just relax?
Yeah, relaxing… that felt good.
“No!” Lotte called out, as much to herself as to the voice, trying to stir herself out of the trance. She made to stand, but her hooves just scuffed against the ground, the door rattling behind her. Lotte swore, a few choice curses of her own echoing into the night.
“Is everything okay?” came Evie’s voice from behind, muffled by the door.
“I’m not sure,” Lotte replied, trying to look down at her body, unable to see much beyond the near-perfect spheres on her chest, the evening light making them glow like fire. Was it just her imagination, or were her paws glowing gold, too? Her thoughts were broken by an abrupt sneeze, with something tickling her nose. Just what she needed… She twitched her nose, hoping it was just hay-fever, though deep down she knew more magic was to blame. There was definitely something there, just out of view: small but noticeably heavy, gently tugging at the end of her muzzle. Another shove from behind, and Lotte’s hooves dug in again, the thing in her nose shaking about.
Looking down, it was clear the transformation was spreading. The fur of her arms was smoothing over, flattening, strands lost in a sea of liquid metal. The deep reds and teals of her fur both fading into an even coat of burnished gold. Even the vibrant purple hues of the latex that her skin had become before were fading away, the edges blurred out as more and more of her upper body became solid gold. The door shook again, hinges protesting as Evie tried (a little more forcefully) to open it from behind. Lotte felt the shock of each shove rolling through her body as though her back was firmly glued to the door, moving with it. Yet the door remained stubbornly shut, despite Evie putting all of her werewolf strength into it. Whatever the magic was doing to Lotte, it did not want to be disturbed.
Evie shoved again, hinges rattling, and a thought occurred to Lotte: she could no longer feel her hoofed feet digging into the ground. In fact, she wasn’t sure she could feel much of her lower body at all. Looking down, it was impossible for her to see anything past the gleaming spheres dominating her chest. For a moment, Lotte might have imagined her breasts were all that remained of her. She tried to wiggle her legs, or sway her hips, but couldn’t feel any sense of movement. Were they gold, too? Was she just become a statue, stuck forever outside the Emporium? (If she was, at least the view was nice, she supposed…)
The arcane answer was that the magic had little need of Lotte’s lower body. While the spell was working its way through her upper body, turning flesh and latex to gold, her legs and lower body had been shrinking. Almost fading away, merging into the mass of solid metal making up the rest of her, leaving Lotte as a golden bust firmly affixed to the Emporium’s entrance. The only part of her that wasn’t frozen solid was her face, though Lotte could still see the gold creeping in at the edge of her vision, her whiskers glowing in the sunlight.
Another shove from Evie, and Lotte felt herself shift with the door again, her whole body rocking back and forth. There was that tickle in her nose again, the sensation of something swinging forwards, tugging at her muzzle again. A moment later it swung back, something hard and heavy clanging against her metal chest. The vibrations echoed through her, Lotte’s whole body shuddering with the force of it, carrying through to the door behind her with a resounding knock. The sensation was all-too-predictably pleasant, somehow, a frisson of pleasure vibrating through her body.
“Oh,” Lotte said to herself, nose still twitching, feeling the giant ring that now hung from her nose bouncing back and forth on her breasts. Its dull thud shifted in pitch each time, rising to a metallic ring as it bounced off her golden body. Her golden form shifted slightly with each thud, a portion of her chest flattening down, as more gold gathered in a heavy ball at the end of the ring. All the better to strike together, each clattering thud quaking through Lotte.
The knock worked as a spell of its own: not simply marking the end of the spell transforming its body, but unlocking the door behind her. Magic had a certain, if fickle, logic about it. Evie, in a roundabout way, had swung the ring hanging from Lotte. Had knocked against the door. Requested entry (or should that be exit?) to the Emporium. As the Emporium’s owner, she was permitted entry, and as the Emporium’s guardian, Lotte was bound to grant it. Abruptly, the spell locking the door in place was dismissed. Just as abruptly, the barreling bulk of a werewolf pushed against it. The door swung free. Lotte was carried with it, the woods spinning around her, her nose ring rattling against her. Evie tumbled afterwards, unprepared, tumbling awkwardly to the forest floor (with a few choice curse words).
As the door swung back, Lotte was treated to the sight of the disheveled witch dusting herself off, patches of brown fur poking through her now-torn dress. (Some might say it added to her witchy charm, especially given her bestial form, but Evie was the sort of witch who took pride in her appearance…)
“That was-“ Evie began, still smoothing out the hem of her dress, stopping med-sentence as she looked at Lotte. Her expression shifted from mild annoyance, to realisation, to deep amusement. Her eyes shifted between the ring adoring Lotte’s nose and the golden globes it was resting upon.
“Don’t say it,” Lotte began.
“What knockers!” Evie exclaimed, failing to restrain herself, a toothy smirk spreading across her maw.
Lotte rolled her eyes, refusing to admit to her own slight amusement at the situation. Of all the things she’d been turned into today, this was probably not the weirdest but definitely the most embarrassing.
“Ahem, anyway,” Evie made a little show of clearing her throat before stepping closer to Lotte, peering at her golden form. Evie’s face was reflected back in Lotte’s breasts, distorted into cartoonishness. Once again Lotte felt like she was being studied, like some sort of magical experiment. “Looks like there’s too much magic building up inside you… you’ve been so many things, any stray bit of magic will try and find you a home, and change you to match.”
Lotte was about to reply when she felt a probing paw reaching around her nose ring. The sensation wasn’t exactly pleasant but it was strangely intimate. The feeling of warm paw-pads gripping around it, Evie’s body heat warming up her cool, metal body. Though Lotte could still move her head, it was a reminder of quite how helpless Lotte was; both in her current form, and at the mercy of the whims of Evie’s magic. This was hammered home as Evie raised the ring up, tugging Lotte’s muzzle with it before knocking it down on her breasts, those echoes of pleasure rolling back through Lotte’s body.
“Oh,” Evie said, seeing Lotte’s expression and quickly letting go, only sending another wave of sensations through Lotte’s body as the ring clattered down, “sorry.”
“It’s okay, I think…” Lotte replied, ring rattling a little with each word. “As long as you change me back, okay?”
“I don’t think it’s that simple…” Evie began, pinching the end of her muzzle, “if I just reverse you, I’m worried the magic will just latch onto something else and change you again. If you go home, you might wind up something even stranger, without a witch nearby to help. If you stay, that’s almost as bad, even if I keep you off the shop floor.”
“Why? Can’t you just… keep an eye on me?”
“I’ve got a coven par- meeting at midnight. Important witch stuff. If I leave you here, then Phoibe will get hold of you, and that’s… worse.”
Lotte thought about asking who or what Phoibe was, but decided against it.
Meanwhile, Evie continued to fret with her torn dress, pausing mid-thought.
“Maybe there is something I can do with you…”
