Moonlight streamed in through the skylight, illuminating Evie’s lupine body as she lay sprawled across the bed. The werewolf’s body was tall and powerful, strong legs stretching down below her muscular torso, paws tipped with claws glinting in the moonlight. Her fur was dense and fluffy, softening her body, thickest around her neck and shoulders. Most of her body was a warm brown, her fur fading to a sandy colour across her belly. She reached an arm up to her head as she stirred on the bed, running through her mane, a blaze of fiery orange running down from her head along the length of her body.

Lexi, in turn, lay sprawled across the wolf’s body. Shorter than her girlfriend even when she wasn’t a wolf, the human was dwarfed by Evie’s body, lost amongst her fur. Lexi shifted, rolling onto her front, dark brown hair falling over her eyes. Her hands pressed into solid muscle and soft breasts as she slowly pulled herself a little further up the wolf’s body, searching for the most comfortable spot. She looked up at Evie, staring into her pale blue eyes and grinning a little,  before wordlessly lying down on Evie’s chest, her face soon buried in fur.

“Comfy?” Evie asked, her gentle voice almost at odds with her body, flashing her sharp teeth. There were a lot of perks to being a werewolf, and having your girlfriend using you as a living pillow was definitely one of them.

“Mmhmmph.” was Lexi’s reply, almost lost in the fur, nodding gently.

“Cuddlier than a pillow?

“Mmhmmph.”

“Softer than a blanket?”

“Mmhmmph.”

“Warmer than a hot water bottle?”

“Mmhmmph.”

“The most comfortable thing you can imagine?”

“Nnn-nnnh,” Lexi shook her head.

“No?” Evie replied, her voice tinged with mock disappointment, “you can think of something comfier?”

“Mmhmmph,” came Lexi’s muffled reply, rolling over a little, “I can think of lots of really comfy things… like Chinchillas...”

Evie huffed a little, pouting as much as her wolven face would allow. She felt strangely envious of whatever was in Lexi’s thoughts, something even comfier than she was. Her ears twitched a little as she thought, wondering if there was a spell she could use, something to make her even fluffier. Careful not to disturb Lexi, she waved a paw around, tracing some half-remembered symbols into the air. A wave of warmth spread through her body was the spell began to flow through, her fur starting to stand on end. It was working!

Fur shifted and rustled across Evie’s body as if blown by some unseen wind. Individual strands grew softer and finer, more fur growing to make up the difference, soon giving Evie an impossibly dense covering of fur. The wolf became fluffier with each passing moment, her changing fur refusing to stay flat, becoming so soft and so poofy it fluffed around her. Lexi found herself lifted a little as the fur changed beneath her, warm and luxurious fur spilling around her form, tickling her naked body.

“Hmm, am I comfy enough now?” Evie asked, grinning, playfully batting Lexi with a paw.

“Mmhmmph,” came the familiar reply, Lexi’s face still buried in the expanse of fur.

Smiling, Evie draped a paw over Lexi’s back, the weight of it pressing down on her, pushing her deeper into the soft fur. Evie always had to be a little careful when they were cuddling that she didn’t accidentally cut Lexi with her claws, unable to retract them like a cat did. She held her other paw up to check how fluffy it had become, expecting to still see those claws shining a little amongst the fur, but there seemed to be no sight of them. She ran her thumb against her finger tips, finding nothing but smooth skin and soft fur, her claws having vanished completely. Curious, she glanced down at her footpaws, careful not to shift too much. Wiggling her toes about, she could see no sign of any claws. Was this some side-effect of the comfiness spell, she wondered, making her as soft as possible?

Lost in thought, Evie didn’t notice her body was continuing to change, that her fur becoming so dense and so soft being only the first stage of her spell. Below the thick covering of fur her skin was starting to transform from flesh to artificial fabric, magically tough and strong but still woven from fibres. Her skin tickled as it shifted, flesh and fur alike turning into cotton threads, fraying slightly as it split into threads, only making it softer. Shivering a little, she felt her skin tensing up and contracting, squeezing a little against her insides.

“Woah… this is weird…” Evie’s eyes grew a little wide now she could see her body changing, appearing to balloon a little. Her arms and legs slowly became thicker and rounder, almost perfect cylinders, knees and elbows losing definition. She held up a paw again, watching as the changes spread to her hands. Her fingers were swelling rounder, growing shorter, starting to press together as pressure grew inside them. Where her expending digits met, fabric skin merged together, a line of stitching appearing between each digit, the only thing separating and defining them. Evie’s palm tingled, rough paw pads fading into her fabric skin, softening into brown fur like the rest of her arm. Paws continued to inflate, the stitches tugging at her skin, barely more than mittens now.

“Lexi… babe… I don’t think I quite got that spell right…” Evie said, a nervous grin across her face, looking down past her girlfriend to her feet. They were swelling too, whole feet pulling shorter as her toes grew large and round, merging together like her fingers had. She wiggled them a little, her pillowy legs bending gently, her normally fearsome body looking like a child’s favourite toy.

“What do you mean? You’re so soft and lovely...” Lexi stirred, moving to push the paw off her body and sit up, fingers pushing against those soft mitten-like hands. Seeing them for the first time. “Oh…” Came her muted response, staring down at Evie’s paw. She gently squeezed, fingers pressing deep into the fabric, not feeling flesh and muscle but the soft and fluffy stuffing of a plush toy. Lexi peered closer, tracing a finger across the thread between Evie’s thumb and finger, tickling her a little. “Are those stitches?”

“I think they are…” Evie giggled a little, feeling light-headed and excited despite the unexpected changes. She closed her eyes to concentrate on the sensations of her body, more of her body changing, feeling so light and soft and wonderful. Evie could feel the stuffing filling her, spreading back through her arms and legs into her body, muscle and bone fading away to make room. More stitches began to trace their way over her body, forming seams running down her sides, appearing around her shoulders and hips. The more Evie’s body changed, the harder it became to move, and the less Evie wanted to. She tried to flex a finger, whole paw sluggishly moving with it, skin stretching a little as it tugged at her threads. She relaxed, feeling the stuffing starting to fill out her expanding chest, letting her body sink into the bed. Her smile grew broader, feeling her breathing slowing, gently placing a reassuring paw over Lexi.

“How does it feel? Are you okay?” Lexi knew Evie dabbled in spells to cause inanimate transformations, but this would be the first time she’d ever used one on herself, whether she had meant to or not. Clutching Evie’s soft paw, she rolled herself onto her knees, intending to give herself a better view of the wolf’s face. Seeing Evie smiling down at her, Lexi smiled back. She was about to say something, mouth open, when without warning the firm muscle beneath her gave way to soft and loose stuffing. Lexi’s legs sank into the spongy body of the wolf, pitching her forward, her face landing flat against the side of a wonderfully pillowy breast, so thick with fleecy fur. “Mmmph~!” came her muffled cry, hands pushing deep into Evie’s chest as she lifted herself out, grinning madly.

“That comfy enough for you?” Evie asked, laughing, Lexi nodding enthusiastically in response, her face flushed red with embarrassment and joy. “Did feel kinda nice for me, too. My body just feels so soft… yours is so warm and heavy against it. In a good way, I mean.” She hastily added, grinning sheepishly. There was a ‘fwoomp’ sound as Evie’s tail, so inflated and full of stuffing, suddenly freed itself from under Evie’s legs. It sprung upwards, tightening fabric skin and stitching making it curl up a little, growing so round and soft.

“Guess everyone’s heavy when your insides are stuffing and air.” Lexi knelt back up properly, shuffling her body about, letting her legs settle on Evie’s belly. Curious, Lexi ran her hand through dense fur across Evie’s body, gently pushing as deep as she could into her. Evie’s body offered little resistance, and Evie could feel her skin stretching as her stuffed insides were compressed. The feeling was strange. The tension as Lexi pushed in, the slow release and rebound as her body pushed back, oddly pleasant and warming. “You’re just so soft and squishy and wonderful. Like my favourite cuddly toy.”

“Heh,” Evie smirked, “Guess I got the spell right, after all. Just didn’t think it would go this far… I should change back at dawn, anyways.”

“Aww, but now I want to know what a plush human Evie looks like.” Lexi replied, sticking her tongue out, Evie gently batting her with a paw in response.

That feeling of contentment grew again and Evie wanted little more than to lie here in bed, doing nothing but feeling Lexi’s body against her. Evie’s neck tickled, the stuffing working its way up into her head. “Ooh, this is strange…” Evie tried to say, her mouth refusing to respond properly, her voice fading to silence. She could taste cotton wool as, a happy feeling spreading through her, smile spreading into a permanent grin. Evie’s teeth no longer looked real, just fabric shapes set between her lips, stitching forming a cartoonish zig-zag. Her head inflated, features softening to cartoonish proportions as it filled with dense stuffing. The tickle of stitching playing across her face, around the edge of her nose, up and around her ears. Her eyes faded into the fur, vision going black for a moment before embroidered eyes appeared, that same vibrant blue now fixed looking ahead.

“Hey, you’re looking pretty cute, babe…” Lexi looked up, her smile mirroring the one stitched into Evie’s soft and cuddly face.

“…” Evie couldn’t reply, unable to speak and barely able to move her body, nodding slowly to let Lexi know she was alright.

“Well… if you’re just going to lie there, I might as well join you.” Lexi shuffled about on Evie’s chest, legs pushing into that soft belly, hands grabbing gentle hold of her fur for purchase. Each tug and pull brought Evie a warm feeling of pleasure, sensing Lexi’s enjoyment. Getting herself comfortable, Lexi snuggled back against Evie, letting her head sink in between Evie’s breasts. She reached to her sides, grabbing both massive paws and draping them over her body, the best blanket she could think of. Evie was so gentle and soft, her cushioned body perfectly supporting the weight of the human, Lexi soon found herself drifting off to sleep.

“Yeah…” she murmured, “now you’re the most comfortable thing I can think of…”

Lexi fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of chasing wolves. Evie glowed a little with pride, so glad she could be so blissfully comfortable, content to watch her girlfriend sleeping, paws rising and falling with her breathing. Evie drifted off too, joining Lexi’s dreams, barely noticing the slight tingle on the side of her hip, a tag forming.
