“Hey, honey, have you seen one of my new socks anywhere?” Your girlfriend’s voice came from upstairs, along with the sounds of a bedroom being torn apart: the slam of drawers being pulled out, muffled thuds as piles of clothes were thrown about the room.

You were downstairs fixing breakfast, memories of last night slowly coming back to you. Getting a bit too drunk, suddenly obsessed with the idea of making a sock puppet. One of her blue starry thigh-highs seeming like the perfect sock to use. Googly eyes glued on and a mouth stitched into it. It was also the same sock Sophia needed to wear today to complete her witch’s outfit, the perfect outfit for her new job at Rosewood Emporium, the local magic shop.

“Sorry, Sophia, I haven’t see it.” You called back, more than a little afraid she might transform you into a replacement, even if it would only be for the day. Breakfast forgotten, you slipped through the living room, quickly brushing the sock puppet behind the sofa cushions as you headed to the hall. Sophia was half-way down the stairs, starry sock in one hand, already wearing her new dress, the deep blue of a night sky accented by a golden ribbon around her waist, hugging her body and cut short above the knee. You slowly drew your gaze up her body, lingering on her bare legs, her rich brown skin seeming to glow a little in the early morning sunlight. The deep blue of her dress seemed to complement her skin perfectly, the gold of the ribbon matching her eyes. You looked up at her round face, still so welcoming and beautiful despite her frustrated expression, framed by black curls.

“Ah, babe, I know what you’re thinking…” her eyes met yours and she seemed to catch your expression, her face softening a little, a smile growing. “But no, I cannot just go without them. The socks help sell the whole cute witch look, and besides, I’d get pretty cold… you wouldn’t want me to be cold, would you?” She flashed a grin at you, extending a hand. “Mind helping me in the bedroom a little?” There was a glint in the eye that suggested she was up to something, but you kind of wanted to find out where it was heading.

“Well, if you insist…” You took her hand, a subtle tingling feeling spreading from Sophia’s hand to yours, feeling suddenly tired and strangely at east as she led you up the stairs. The bedroom was a scene of carnage. Discarded clothes, yours and hers, were thrown about the room in disarray. Part of you wanted to sort it, make a bit of a show of looking for the “missing” sock, though the bed seem to be preoccupying your mind, so warm and inviting. You swayed a little on your feet.

“Oh, babe, you need a lie down?” Sophia’s voice was warm, her face a look of concern, a glint in her eye betraying she was up to something - though now you didn’t have the will to resist, letting her guide you onto the bed. Your murmured a faint protest as you lay down, words muffled by the duvet. You collapsed there, so tired and so weak, barely able to move.

“Hush, hush, just relax… take it easy…” She began to massage you, gently rubbing her hands over your body, running them under your clothes. Ease and contentment felt like they were flowing through your body, aches and tensions fading away to a feeling of pure comfort.

“So… soft…” your mumbled, a tingling and almost fuzzy sensation flowing over your skin everywhere Sophia touched, her hands gently pushing and kneading your skin. Carefully, she began to remove the clothes from your limp body, stripping you naked as she clambered over you, knees either side of your torso. You could feel the warmth of her hands against your skin, the tickle of her dress as it brushed against you. Sophia’s hands pressed into your back, rubbing back and forth, manipulating your body. It felt like the deepest and most blissful massager you’d ever had. Everywhere she touched felt warm and soft, your skin stretching and shifting under her fingers.

You shifted your head slightly, glancing down over the side of your body, surprised to see your skin looked oddly dark… was it the light, or were you turning blue? You shifted an arm, needing a surprising amount of effort, running it down your side. Instead of skin you felt soft fabric, the fine weave of threads, the fuzz of cotton fraying ever so slightly. You felt like you wanted to feel your soft skin forever, but Sophia gently grabbed your arm, pushing it away and down into the duvet. Running her hands across it, your could feel her pressing it flat, bone and muscle vanishing under her touch, fading away. She hummed as she went, gently rolling your deflated arm up, bundling it into your side, pressing it into your shoulder. Soon, there was nothing left of your arm, only a faint and phantom sensation of what was once there.

“My… my arm… why?” Your voice was slow and slurred, like someone half-asleep. Sophia didn’t answer, just humming as she flattened your other arm, bunding it into the rest of your body just like the first. She shifted a little, moving down your body, rolling both legs up at the same time, pressing them firmly into rear. You shivered a little, realising you must be little more than a torso and a head now, blue fabric for skin. Her hands continued to work over you, pressing and kneading your body, pushing deeper into your soft skin than your thought possible. Skin stretched and deformed around her fingers, bones fading away as she pressed down.

Sophia’s hands ran across your shoulder blades, flattening them into your skin before tracing your spine along your back, leading to your hips. She pushed in gently and your hips narrowed a little, pressing her fingers into your side as she moved up your body, coaxing your torso into a more cylindrical shape. You could feel her fingers playing across your shoulders, pushing them deeper into your body, tickling the fabric where your arms once grew. Sophia lifted you up, your body bending limply, running her hands along your belly. You couldn’t help but giggle a little, the tickling sensation as she pressed your chest flat, nipples fading into the fabric of her torso. She kept going, moving her hands over every inch of you, making your body so smooth and so soft.

“That’s better…” Sophia paused a moment to consider her handiwork. The bed moved under you, your body rocking with it as she moved to sit at the end. She placed her right foot gently on your ass, massaging your flesh a little, teasing you with the feel of her warm body, toes pressing into you. The more you felt her, the more you wanted to be closer to her, surrounding her, feeling her warmth inside you…

There was a feeling of blissful relief as she pushed her foot into you, sliding it between your ass cheeks, parting your body as she effortlessly slipped inside you. Your body felt almost fluid, perfectly stretching around her as she pushed deeper, forcing your body to adapt. She wiggled her foot inside you, her toes tickling your insides as they warped and changed, bones and organs fading away to make room.

Her hands gripped your hips, pulling you closer to her, her foot moving deeper into your belly, still flexing inside your softening body. She pressed around your sides, a deflating feeling as your body collapsed around her, smoothing out your rear until nothing was left but your fabric skin. A tightening feeling as a loop of elastic formed, hugging the soft flesh of her thigh. Grabbing hold more firmly, she pulled you further up her. Skin stretched out, the gaps between threads opening a little, her smooth skin brushing against your insides. Your head slid along the bed as what remained of your body continued to shrink around her, like it was as desperate as you were to be as close to her as possible.

You could feel her foot at the base of your throat, so narrow compared to your torso, filling it completely. You gagged a little, trying to open your mouth to gasp as your neck was stretched out, but your lips fused together in a zipping motion. You tried to speak, jaw still shifting a little even as it faded away, only stretching and tugging your fabric skin a little.

“Careful, sock! That tickles!” Sophia protested, her voice feeling like a command making your mouth fall still. She giggled a little, wiggling her toes again as they pushed into your head, stretching and filling it out. They pressed out into the top of your head, stretching your face flat against the ball of her foot, settling there. She sat up on the bed, running her hands down your body, smoothing out any creases and wrinkles. All over, you felt a wave of tension, your body settling into its new shape. Her hands played across your head as she smoothed out your features, ears and nose pressed flat, your eyes lost in the fabric. Your vision faded, replaced with an odd sense of awareness of your surroundings: the smooth and cool bed beneath you, the warm of Sophia inside you, the smell of her skin, her fingers stretching and teasing your fabric body as she ran them between her toes in turn.

“Hmm… one last touch…” She ran her hands over you again, sparks flying between her fingers and your body. Shimmering stars appeared across your skin, making you the perfect match for her other sock, a vision of a night sky. She swung you over the side, cool air playing across your skin, frayed cotton waving a little in the breeze as she dangled her legs for a moment.

Sophia dropped down from the bed, a sensation like falling head-first, your face suddenly pressed against the ground. Your face felt crushed by the weight of her body, flattened between the sole of her foot and the pile of the carpet. It felt rough against the soft fabric of your skin, fibres catching inside yours. She twisted her foot this way and that, brushing your face against the floor, tugging at your skin, a slight burning feeling as tiny cotton strands frayed off. It felt amazing, your whole body tingling with pleasure. A deep feeling of satisfaction for being being worn, the knowledge you were sparing Sophia from walking barefoot, keeping her warm.

You could feel her shifting about, resting her other leg across you as she pulled the original sock on, electric tingles as it brushed against you. It felt odd to be one of a pair, a slight feeling of envy, despite the pleasure you felt from being worn. She slowly slid her leg down, letting the other sock glide against you, the building static making your body fluff up a little. For a time she sat there rubbing her feet together, letting you and the other sock get comfortable, settling better on the shape of her feet.

Sophia stood slowly, your body unbending at her knee, the weight of her pressing down on your face again. She tugged at your cuff, pulling you up a little, stretching and smoothing out your body against the curves of her legs. She took a few careful steps forward, not wanting to overwhelm you with the rush of sensations. Each step felt amazing. As she moved her other leg forward your face was pushed back, shearing between face and carpet, the warmth of friction as your cotton skin frayed a little more. A slight tremor through her body as her left foot stepped down, signalling it was your turn to be lifted. It felt almost like weightlessness as you sailed through the air, carried forward by her foot, a rush as your face plummeted back to the ground. The blissful feeling of your face pressing down into the carpet, the force of impact sending shockwaves up her body. They were barely noticeable to her, just routine sensations, but you could feel the soft flesh of her leg quivering and shifting inside your fabric body, stretching and tugging at you.

Carried forward, you sensed you were heading down stairs now: the rush of falling was longer, the thud of impact more powerful. You were almost disappointed when she stopped, trying to make sense of what she was doing as she paused, holding you in the air for a moment. The answer came with the feeling of cool leather against your head, your face pressed into the insole of her new shoe. It felt so wonderfully and comforting, the shoe protecting you just as you were protecting Sophia.

“What do you think?” Sophia asked, snapping her fingers. You could see again, looking out from her eyes as she looked at herself in the hallway mirror. You loved the sight of her in her witchy outfit, the way you so perfectly complemented her dress, her neat black shoe shining at the end of you. She took her pointed hat, a deep blue matching her dress perfectly, the golden ribbon around it trailing a little as she set it on her head. “Perfect for a first day at work, don’t you think, sock?” She grinned, and you felt like you were grinning with her.

Sophia grabbed her broomstick, walking out of the house, stepping around as she locked the door behind her. Walking felt oddly different, now the shoe was around you. You could still feel the weight of her pressing down, still the same rush of being lifted and falling to the ground. Gone was the feeling of your fabric skin brushing against the floor, your face instead rubbing into the insole, slowly shaping it to match the shape of her foot with every step.

Broomstick hovering and ready, she swung her leg over it, taking a moment to get herself comfortable before kicking off against the ground. Your face was slammed into the shoe as it slammed into hard surface of the driveway, pushing Sophia off as the broomstick took flight. It felt exhilarating, the fierce rush of cool air blowing through you, moisture from the clouds beading between your threads. Your house descended into the distance, Sophia glancing down to give you a view of rooftops rushing past, suburbs turning to parkland turning to the busy streets of town.

A few minutes of flight later and she began to descend, heading for the Emporium. Thanks to the practicalities of modern witchcraft, the roof of the building was reinforced for broomstick landings. She sailed down with practiced ease, feet skipping across the roof of the building as she gradually slowed herself, pounding your face into her shoe each time. As fun as flying was, it felt reassuring to be on solid ground, the weight of Sophia’s body pressing down against you. Settling her broomstick, she dismounted, walking over to her new boss. Once again your body fell into that reassuring rhythm, the feeling of movement, the cycle of weightlessness and the impact of Sophia’s weight pressing you into her shoe. It was just the beginning of a long day at work, helping Sophia as she helped customers, but you knew every moment of hugging her leg was going to be bliss.

“Good morning!” Evie called, reaching to take Sophia’s broom. “How’re you finding the outfit?”

“Oh, well,” Sophia replied, flashing a wicked grin as she stretched you out a little, straightening out a few creases, “They were a little reluctant at first, but I think they’re growing to like it…”
