Victoria had stood in defence of her village, her people, for years. Thieves, bandits, and worse - she'd fought off them all, protecting those she held dear with sword and shield. When the beast came to their lands, butchering her livestock, taking those who wandered too far astray, she knew she had no choice but to track it to its lair.

For days she tracked it across the wilds, through wood and field, reaching high up into the hillside. Her wound closed, muscles swelling, fur covering her body. She struggled to her feet, euphoria filling her body, watching her hands and feet gifted with claws.

Light bathed her as her skull stretched out, splitting into three. Each reformed, stretching forward, growing into the heads of wolves. Sharp teeth filled her mouths, ears growing longer and pointed, three pairs of eyes looking around her. She shook her heads, struggling to cope with the rush of sensation, taking in her new body - loving every inch of it. She may not be able to defend her people with sword and shield, but she could defend them with tooth and claw...
