After what felt a life time for Jenny, something began to happen, it felt like she was falling and then all of a sudden it stopped. Jenny slowly opened her eyes, and suddenly realised she wasn’t in the tank anymore. In fact she could see her body in the tank. Jenny slowly moved her hands out in front of her, and sure enough, they were the maids bots hands. Jenny, then slowly disconnected the cables that were attached to her and moved over to the tank where her body was. She, could see the reflection of the maid-bots body, her mind was now in and was amazed to see her body just floating suspended there, lifelessly in the tank.

Jenny quickly went over to the computer to check the countdown timer, to make sure it was still working, which it was.

Now she had just under an hour to test out this robot maids body, to see what it was capable of. By now Jenny was happy with the balance and coordination of the maids body she was currently in. But she want to test the voice out, so she decided to start talking normally, which sounded certainly more robotic now, as she was using the maids vocal box. Jenny was amazed that she looked and sounded exactly like the maid-bot now (even though she kinda actually was at this point). Her mind started to wonder on all the things she could do like this. She definitely wanted to try it again but for maybe longer, maybe a whole day? Jenny thought ‘It would be interesting to be the maid-bot while Lex was home, with him not knowing’.‘I could even make a clone of myself in the meantime, so I could pretend to be the maid-bot for even longer’, she thought that would be really fun, as she could be the maid-bot for as long as she wanted then.

The hour was almost up, Jenny was interested to see how the reverse transfer worked, with the whole process being, that if she was the maid-bot, anywhere in the house, would she be able to transfer her mind back into her own body. Which didn’t need to be attached to the machine in the room.

Because in one of the tutorials from jenny’s grandmother, she mentioned that the initial transfer had to be done directly, so that the computer could registered the mind during the transfer, so it could then be wirelessly reversed. The trouble was the wireless range, which was pretty much anywhere in the house and a couple of places just outside of it. Going any further away would mean that a reverse transfer would not be possible. (Which was something Jenny knew about, but didn’t want to get into that kind of situation any time soon).

Jenny looked at the timer on the screen, slowly counting down from 10 seconds, Jenny braced herself for the reverse transfer and closed her maid-bot eyes. Jenny felt herself falling again, so she knew that she was on her way back to her actual body. A couple of seconds later the feeling of falling stopped and Jenny opened her eyes. She was back in the tank, she looked around and made her way to the top to get out. She pulled off the head harness and pulled the breathing tube out from her mouth, unstuck all the sensors that were placed over her body, so she was completely disconnected from the device. She then made her way down the ladder on the side of the tank, where her towel and clothes were. She started to dry herself off and the realisation of what had just happened kicked in. She looked over at the maid-bot, thinking to herself that she had just transferred her mind into that maid-bot body and then back into her own, all in the last hour.

Jenny finished dressing herself and walked over to the maid bot plugged in the cable to the port on its neck and transferred the maid-bots mind back to it’s body.

Within a few minutes the transfer was complete and the maid-bot rebooted itself. Jenny directed the maid-bot back to the main part of the house, and commanded it to start it’s cleaning schedule.

Jenny went back and locked the room in the basement and went upstairs to the main part of the house, where she just watched the maid-bot for a good hour, taking mental notes on how it moved and how it was performing the tasks the house computer had given it. Jenny was starting to get a little bit excited at the thought of the next time she was going to transfer her mind into the maid-bot.

With that thought, Lex arrived back home and was completely oblivious to what Jenny had been up too...
