It was a few days later and Lex was working late, so Jenny had the house to herself. The maid-bot had been running the new  code for the last few days, and there seemed to be no noticeable problems with how it functioned. Jenny decided that as she was home alone, she would try an hour long transfer, before Lex got home from work. Jenny was kind of excited and also a bit nervous about trying out the whole transfer process for the first time. She had no idea what was going to happen or how she would feel from the experience. But she wanted to see if it was possible and her curiosity had gotten the best of her.

Jenny had prepared everything in the room, located in the basement. She had filled one of the tanks up with water and filled it with the correct amount of salt to allow her body to have a neutral buoyancy and also helped with the electrical connections within the solution.

Jenny had a towel ready for when she would get out of the tank and had also loaded a copy of her own mind onto the main computer, ensuring she would always have a copy of it.

She called the maid-bot down to the basement and asked the maid -bot to stand in the designated area. She then asked the maid-bot to not move or speak for the next 15 minutes. While Jenny connected up the maid-bot to the correct connections. First of all Jenny moved the contents of the  maid-bots mind to the computer, then made a copy, just as a more recent back up.

The maid-bot was now just an empty shell, for jenny’s mind to occupy. With that, Jenny set up the transfer duration timer for an hour and set the activation countdown timer for 5 minutes, for the transfer to begin. This enabled Jenny to make her way over to the tank, undress and climb up to the top of the tank, where she put on the helmet and connected all the heart rate pads, and then finally the breathing tube that went in her mouth which had a seal for her mouth, making it only possible for her to breathe via the tube, then a couple of straps (like a respirator mask) tightened to hold it all in place. This was to make sure that no liquid would get into her lungs, while in the tank.

With that all done, Jenny slipped into the tank, and closed her eyes, and waited for the timer to finish the count down and begin...
