It had been about a month since their maid-bot had been ordered, and early in the morning Jenny received a text message, informing her that the maid-bot would be delivered by 1pm that day. Jenny was ecstatic, she couldn’t wait to see how this maid-bot functioned. Plus once it was all set up she could then work out what she would be able to do with it, for her own personal fun, using the room in the basement.

What Jenny had learnt about the secret room in the basement, from her grandmothers videos. Was that she could do a multiple of different things, that would allow someone to transfer their mind or consciousness into something else. Which Jenny thought was pretty interesting. From the notes Jenny had made there were a few things that had to be considered.

1. The host body of the person wanting to be transfered, either had to be kept alive in one of the stasis chambers, which would stop the body from essentially dying without a mind during a transfer. Or the host body would have to have another mind transfered to it, which would allow the body to function normally.

2. There was also the ability to copy a consciousness/personality and have that put into either the host body or into another person or object that it would be effective in, such as a robot.

3. The mind transfer would need to have a timer set for the reversal transfer to happen and all the host or hosts bodies and minds would have to be within a certain range of the room for this to work. A missed reversal would automatically restart the timer again, or a physical stop to the timer and a manual reverse transfer would have to be done. But this would only work if all hosts bodies and minds were within proximity still.

4. There was even the ability to create an almost exact copy of a person’s mind, and body. This essentially, was cloning, and the process would take a month to create a cloned body depending on the size of the body. And only worked on organic matter.

5. A copied or cloned mind would only be 99% copied, this would allow for the original mind to have that last 1% of their mind uncopied, leaving room for a special override code in-case of a major event, which once confirmed would start an instant reverse transfer. Which was a last option kind of scenario, as it would force the minds to transfer back, deleting the copied mind in the process. It was also not recommended to be done regularly, as it could be a strain on the original host mind, with potential unknown consequences.

With all these things the room could do, jenny’s mind was alive with all the potential things she could try out. Her first idea was to see what she could do with their newly acquired maid-bot.

Jenny kind of thought it would be fun to see what it would be like, to experience being their maid-bot for a day or maybe a little longer. But first she had to work out how her mind would be transferred into the bot, and still allow her to be in control, without completely overriding the maid-bots base programming.
