This means if the panda's explanation is not enough info, I can explain.<br /><br />The universe that Steve travels to is one of higher magic than his. This means that the magic from that universe leaks into his body and changes it. In a previous draft the pnada's breif explaination was much longer. In it she used the metaphor of a ziplock bag. When you go to the furry univerese, the magic is basicly pouting water into the bag. When it's full, the bag is sealed, and you are stuck in that form. But if you go back to the human dimension you can pour the water back out, filling it with air. The more water in the bag the more animal you become. Getting injured is almost like poking a hole in the bag, letting more water in at once. Obviously this is not a perfect analigous to what is happening, but it's close enough.
