Lethal Experiences - Theseus Blue
Maria took the key with the blue key-fob and strode down the corridor to the door bearing the blue plate. With mild trepidation she inserted the key into the lock turning the key and the handle together. The room she entered looked like an run-of-the-mill hotel room; short passage passing the bathroom door, leading to an area with a double bed, a wardrobe and a dressing table. Either side of the bed were cabinets on which stood telephones.
She decided to hold her temper, because it was planned that she spend the night in another room, with man chosen at random from the men that had been in the entrance hall; having checked them out she had no particular preference, but felt it would be an anticlimax if she ended up with the man she arrived with.
A look round showed her that the envelope of instructions was lying on the dressing table. With a nervous hand she opened it and drew out the single sheet of paper within. She read the page and found that there were no further instructions on the reverse.
The first instruction was simple; Choose one of the costumes in the wardrobe and change into it, leave all your clothes in the drawers of the dressing table. The rest did not initially make sense, but she hoped they would.
She investigated the wardrobe and discovered a selection of swimwear; at one end were some bikinis of various degrees of coverage and a few knots of string that when she pulled one from its hanger became a micro-bikini; the middle was an assortment of one-piece outfits of miscellaneous colours and designs; and at the other end was a full-blown Victorian bathing costume.
Maria pulled out five outfits from the middle and considered which she wanted to wear. She wanted to feel sexy, but not too out there, because she would be having dinner with a stranger before the purpose of her being dressed in a swimsuit and its connection to the lethal experience she would be facing was revealed. She picked the red Baywatch-style outfit. Once dressed in it she posed in front of the wardrobe mirror and noted the high leg line and backless nature of the garment, with its upper part being held in place by shoulder straps that descended over her shoulders and returned under her arms to pull the fabric taut across her chest.
The next instruction had said that she should press the button on the side of the wardrobe and enter the lift. This made little sense to her, but she looked at the side of the wardrobe and to the rear was a round black button surrounded by a circle of white plastic embossed with the words "Press to call!".
She pressed the button and was startled to hear an elevator door roll open as the wardrobe pivoted away from the wall to allow her access. She stepped into the lift and turned to see where the internal buttons were, but the light oak panelling inside the lift did not show any controls. She was about to step back out of the lift when there was a ping and the doors rolled shut. This was followed by a slight lurch as the lift began to descend.
As the Elevator lurched to a halt with a ping, a pleasant voice said, "Please follow the blue line to your dining table." The door trundled open and Maria stepped into an area that was dark except for an illuminated exit sign over a door at far end and a glowing blue line on the floor. Maria followed the blue line to a short corridor and a door at the end. Through the door she found a dining table and chairs in an alcove of a larger area. What was beyond the alcove was unclear, but Maria's attention was drawn to the young woman standing the other side of the table.
"I am your waitress. Please be seated. Would you like something to drink while we wait for your companion?" The waitress was evidently dressed as a mermaid, with a shell bra and a fish-scale-patterned skirt which became narrow around her shins and finished with a fish-tail that moved with every movement she made.
Maria ordered a water and sat down, while the waitress swished off to fetch a bottle of water. Shortly after the waitress returned a man enter the alcove from the same door that Maria had used. The waitress greeted the man, "I am your waitress. Please be seated. Would you like something to drink while you wait for you starters to be ready?"
The man ordered a beer before taking his seat. He was dressed in a wet-suit, that covered from his knees to his neck and down to his elbows. Taking in Maria's costume, he said, "I don't know but whatever your fate is this evening, I'm guessing it will be water themed. By the way my name is Andy."
"Good evening, Andy, I'm Maria," she replied. "I guess you're right, especially as we seem to have a mermaid for a waitress."
With the ice broken, they chatted about nothing in particular, but touched on the subjects of what Maria's Lethal Experience might be (they had no ideas, except for the water theme) and what kinks each had that had lead them to be here tonight and how they might indulge them after the show. Another topic that came up was that Andy was disappointed with the room he had given, principally because it only contained a single bed.
Their waitress, who they discovered was named Jenny, continued to serve them the meals that had been ordered when they booked to be here. The food was excellent.
As the desserts were served the area outside the alcove became brightly illuminated. The magician appeared and performed some minor tricks.
As Maria and Andy put down their spoons for the last time, the magician finished his latest trick and announced that the Lethal Experiences were about to begin. Andy and Maria were a little surprised to be called forward first, but someone had to start.
As the couple moved forward to where the magician stood they noticed peripherally that their were five other alcoves, but they were more concentrated on what they were about to take part in, despite knowing that their partners were in one or two of the other dining areas.
"Welcome to Maria's Lethal Experience. Do either of you have a guess at what it will be?"
Andy answered. "We have to come to the conclusion that it will be water related, but can not think of anything more specific than that."
"Well, you're right about water being involved, but did you think about how water can be lethal?"
Maria swallowed hard, while Andy spoke her thought. "Drowning?"
"Exactly," the magician confirmed. "We shall be attempting to drown Maria, but she does have a chance, if she can escape. But before all that we need to introduce the equipment and let you know what to expect."
"We'll start by getting you to inspect the tank that Maria will be escaping from." Jenny wheeled the tank into the area. She parked the water filled tank with its transparent sides and departs. Encouraged by the magician, Andy and Maria checked out the tank; Andy in the spirit of cooperating with the magician, Maria more on the lookout for whatever means she is supposed to evade being drowning in the tank. Both had to confirm that the tank seemed perfectly solid. Jenny returned with a trolley covered in an assortment of equipment.
"Of course we aren't expecting Maria to go in blind as it were. So, we are going to demonstrate what is going to happen using Jenny." Jenny gave every appearance of being happy to be called on to demonstrate an escape from drowning. "The short version is we shall truss Jenny up a bit and then attach her to the floor of the tank and put the lid on. We'll cover the tank in a cloth and wait for her to escape. Then we'll do the same for Maria, after which you can stay and watch as much of the rest of the show as you want, before taking Maria to your room."
"Sounds good to me," commented Andy.
Maria did not seem so happy with the situation. "That's alright for you, but I might have drowned in there, which might be a lethal experience, but no fun for me. I know he says that we'll all survive, but ..."
"That's why I'd ask you pay as much attention to what happens with Jenny, because if you don't you might panic, which will not help you in the slightest."
"First we need to check that Jenny is not carrying any equipment that you do not have, like lock picks, spare assistants, rabbits or hidden jet packs. Before you get too excited Andy, that will be Maria's job. While Maria checks Jenny out and gets some tips on how to do what is needed, I shall be showing you the some of the features of the tank."
Maria and Jenny stepped to the side, where Jenny insisted that Maria thoroughly check her for any means of making an escape, which included feeling inside her shell bra and down the inside of her skirt. Maria found nothing that she would not expect to; she was also worried to not receive any advice about how to perform the escape.
Meanwhile the magician was giving Andy a tour of the tank. Drawing his attention to neck shackle bonded to the floor of the tank by less than six inches of chain, the shackles bolted to the bottom of the tank, the fact that lid was solidly hinged to the rest of the tank with plates that hooked over loops on the front to hold it down. The feature that he took particular care to point out was a grid of rods standing out from the lid by a couple of inches, which were, according to the magician to prevent the person trapped inside the box from even breathing the thin layer of air that would be trapped under the lid before they had freed themself and unlocked the lid. "You are wondering how the person inside is meant to escape if the lid is solid. Well, the lid is not as solid as it initially appears, the entire glass panel that makes up most of the lid slides to the side allowing Jenny to reach out and deal with the padlocks that will be holding the lid shut. When we close the lid of the tank we will lock the padlocks to hold it in place and then cover the tank with a curtain to allow Jenny the privacy to escape."
The magician and Andy had returned to the centre in front of the tank. "Maria, is Jenny free of any equipment that might aid in her escape?"
"Um, yes, but she did not give me any advice on how the escape was done."
"That's ok, because we will give you an ear-piece to relay what you need to know. In fact, you might as well put it in now, so we don't forget it." He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small plastic box, which he handed over to Maria. She opened it up and put the contents in her ear.
While Maria adjusted her ear-piece to be comfortable, the magician had Andy checking that a sheet of cloth with some fittings sewn on was ungimmicked. The magician then set the pair to wrapping the cloth round Jenny's arms so that her forearms were held close together behind her back and buckling the fittings onto straps, so that it did not release. With her arms pinioned behind her back, the magician lifted Jenny and guided her to standing in the tank, where with some more help, she knelt. Andy was asked to attach the shackles around Jenny's ankles, thus securing the erstwhile waitress to the bottom of the tank.
"The next bit we'll need to do quite fast, so I'll tell what we're going to do before we start so that no-one is in any doubt. When Jenny is ready, she'll nod then duck her head under the water; Maria that is your cue to reach in and fix the neck shackle around her neck. It is basically an over-sized handcuff so that should present no difficulties. Then Andy and I will close the lid and lock it into place with these padlocks." He handed a padlock with the key in to Andy and showed the one he had taken for himself. "Once the padlock is in place remove the key and collect mine, then put them on the table where you dined. Meanwhile, Maria, you can collect the curtains from over there and we will put them over the tank to give Jenny some privacy not to reveal our methods. After that we'll see how good Jenny is at escaping."
Maria moved to the head end of the tank and confirmed that she was ready, while Andy and the magician went to stand at the rear corners.
There was a moment of tension, then Jenny took a deep breath and dived under the water. Maria scrambled to reach for the neck shackle and apply it to the waitress' neck, feeling to lock ratchet into place. She then stood back to allow the men to close and lock the lid. It took her a few seconds to remember that she had another job and headed for the rectangular frame with the curtain attached.
When she returned with her burden, which she rested on top of the tank to allow her and the magician to undo the ties that kept the curtain tidily against the frame. All could see Jenny struggling in the tank, until Maria and the magician lowered the curtain over the tank and then raised the frame back up to cover it.
"This is supposed to be suspenseful, so we'll need someone to raise the curtains so that the audience can see how well or otherwise Jenny is doing. Maria do you need any help getting on top of the tank?"
Maria was about to ask "Why me?" when the sense of it dawned on her. She would be stand on the glass plate lid of the tank and be able to see some of the moves that Jenny made to extricate herself from her bonds and make good her escape. She accepted the magician's assistance in mounting the tank and took up the frame of the curtain.
When given her cue, she raised the curtain until she could tell that the lower hem was high enough to show Jenny to the audience. It seemed that Jenny was already free of the wrapping that had held her arms behind her back; Maria wished that she had seen how the waitress had achieved that feat.
Having given enough time for Jenny to give the world outside the tank a hasty thumbs up, Maria lowered the curtain to hide her again.
Maria looked down to see what Jenny would do next and how it would be achieved. To her surprised the waitress strained in her bonds enough to look up at her and give her a thumbs up, then seemed to relax and make no attempt to do anything.
The magician called on her to raise the curtain again. When Maria looked down she could see that Jenny's neck shackle was no longer round her neck. She felt that the timing of the magician's request to raise the curtain had been as best unfortunate and at worst maliciously timed to avoid her spotting how Jenny had freed herself from the neck shackle.
The curtain was lowered again and Maria noticed that Jenny did not seem to be making much effort to release the shackles from her shins or do anything about the lids trapping her in the box, although it seemed to Maria that there was little she could have done with her standing on the lid.
Maria was asked to raise the curtain once more, and she felt strange as she raised the frame from which the curtain hung above her head. When she raised the curtain, Andy and the rest of the audience were surprised to see nobody in the tank. Moments later the curtain lowered and the frame was in place on top of the tank by Jenny, with no evidence of Maria. The magician assisted the soaking wet Jenny dismounting from the top of the tank, then the two lifted the curtain frame from tank and Jenny carried the curtain to the place where Maria had collected it.
Inside the tank was Maria. She squirmed in her bonds and her face showed panic. She was not free to move about in the tank, because the shackles held her neck and shins to the bottom of the glass tank and her arms were trapped behind her back in tight fabric held in place with buckled straps. Unlike the previous occupant of the tank, Maria was facing upwards, instead of down.
After an initial few moments of shock the audience applauded. Jenny returned carrying a ring about six inches in diameter with the hole in the centre covered in some fabric. The magician rolled up his sleeve then took the ring and placed it against the front wall of the tank near Maria's shoulder.
The magician reached through the cloth-covered ring and seeming through the glass wall of the tank beyond, as became evident by Maria's reaction to his touch. She paused in the limited thrashing to see what had touched her shoulder, presumably in the hope that whatever it was would be an aid in attaining her freedom.
The magician tugged on the top of the costume which came free, then he slid the ring, with his arm still through it, down the tank and kept the tension on the garment. He reached level with Maria's hips and pulled the red fabric still wet from the inside of the tank, without much water (a few drops at most) leaking out. He tossed the ring and the costume to Jenny, who held the costume up to display what had been pulled through the side of the water tank and confirm the evidence of the audience's own eyes that Maria was now bound naked underwater with no access to air.
Jenny tossed the magician a towel and then enlisted the help of Andy in wheeling the tank away, while the magician dried his hand and then produced several doves from the towel. Andy and the waitress parked the tank near the entrance to their dining alcove, which had been cleared of the table, leaving a chair. Jenny then pulled the panel of glass from the lid of the tank and laid it aside. "Feel free to watch the rest of the show or whenever you are ready, press the call button and we will transfer you and Maria to your room for the night."
Andy reaching into the tank through the grid of bars that, even if Maria was not shackled to the bottom of the tank, would have prevented her from rising to the surface to breath any air, and stroked the captive.
Maria heard a voice in her ear, slightly distorted by the water that had leaked by the ear-piece, but still recognisable as Jenny's. "By now you will have realised that you will not drown, even if that would be the eventual fate of someone in your current position. The fact is that you will only be able to breathe water until we restore you for breakfast (that is you won't be able to breath air until then). Enjoy your Lethal Experience."
Andy and to a lesser extent Maria watched the most of the rest of the show, with Andy stroking and caressing Maria's bound body. Andy pressed the button to call for assistance in transferring Maria to his room.
About a minute after the button was pressed two men dressed in black arrived to wheel the water tank away and invite Andy to follow. A short walk and an elevator ride later they arrived at a swimming pool, where the men hooked the tank to a gantry overhead. The tank was lifted up and over the pool, before being lowered to the bottom. The man who appeared to be in charge pressed a button and the crane lifted the top and sides of the tank from the pool, leaving the base with Maria still shackled to it at the bottom of the pool.
The man who remained, the other having disappeared unnoticed, gave Andy a brief tour of the facilities, which included the lockers where Andy and Maria's clothes had been stowed, the showers and a place for Andy to sleep. He also introduced Andy to the air-hose and the scuba gear and gave him the key that could be used to release Maria from her bondage if he felt that he wanted to. The man cautioned Andy that Maria would be unable to breath air until the morning and could possibly drown if she left the pool for too long. The final thing Andy got given was a microphone that would allow him to speak to Maria.
Andy looked into the water and said into the microphone, "How are you doing down there?"
Maria evidently heard but seemed unable to respond, except she opened her mouth and emitted a thin stream of bubbles. She was feeling ok about breathing water after she had got used to the idea; the main problem was the beginnings of cramps from being in the same position for so long.
Andy decided that Maria must be some level of ok, because she was not struggling to get his attention. So located the air hose and went into the pool. After a couple of minutes to get used to breathing via his mouth, Andy swam down to the trapped woman and took full advantage of her situation. This was what Maria had hoped for, with the added benefit that it distract from the oncoming cramps.
With his ardour satisfied, Andy resurfaced and collected the keys to release Maria. Once Maria was free, she headed for the surface only to discover the truth of what she had been told about not being able to breath air. The pair had a brief conversation where for her part Maria would surface to say a few words and Andy would speak to her through the microphone and ear-piece.
They decided to sleep individually in what was currently their native element and hope to have time another bout of underwater sex before the magician came to restore Maria's ability to breathe air.
Maria slept well floating half way between the bottom of the pool and its surface, drifting in the currents. Andy initially had difficulty dropping off without a warm body by his side, but was soon snoring up a storm from the unaccustomed exertions of aquatic love-making.
With the dawn they woke and Andy joined Maria in her element for another unusual session of underwater carnality.
When Andy surfaced, he found Jenny and the magician carrying the curtain frame which they floated in a corner of the pool.
"When you're both ready, Maria may exit the pool through the curtain to regain her ability to breathe air, but she will lose the ability to breathe water. And when you are both ready the breakfast room is through that door and follow the corridor left to the end."
