Wild Magic Party - Erin
Erin's invitation arrived by e-mail and given the short notice, she had to do a deal with a colleague to have the evening free and even then she still had to work the shift before the party where there would be magicians everywhere and the implication in the invite was that willing volunteers would get the chance to try out almost any illusion that they fancied.
The invitation demanded that she turn up in a costume of some sort, with the unwritten hint that within the party clothes might be optional. Fortunately, she had her student nurse uniform and could wear some sexy underwear under it, so that if she needed to not be fully clothed she could make a brave showing in lingerie too.
As she emailed the organisers that she would be glad to attend their soiree, the thought crossed her mind about how they had got her email address, but then half the scammers in the country seemed to be sending her spam of every colour, so it did not worry her.
----------
When Erin arrived at the Five Maples Hotel, she asked someone who was badged as a hotel employee where the event was and where the toilets were. She went to toilets and changed from her clothes that she wore to the job she had to support herself while she tried to qualify as a nurse. She changed into her matching underwear and slipped into her nurse dress and put on the sensible shoes she wore for nursing. Her work clothes she stuffed in the bag, then went to find the party and the magic.
She arrived at the hall a bit late due to her job, but was shown to a table while a brunette in a spectacular mermaid outfit was swimming around in a large tank of water, she seemed familiar, but Erin could not place where from, but she suspected that she had seen her as an assistant or volunteer at some magic show.
The man who had been seated at one of the tables further from the front had disappeared, but her attention was taken by a waitress, who came to take her order for food and drink, which it appeared the parties organisers were paying for. Food was the last thing on her mind when she realised that the waitress who had introduced herself as Beth was totally naked, with the appearance of a short black dress created by bodypaint. Erin stared at Beth.
"Is there a problem?" asked Beth.
"No," said Erin. "Do you usually dress like that?"
Beth looked down and remembered that she was wearing the dress supplied the organisers of the event. "No, I usually wear a blouse and a skirt, but this is a nice dress for the evening." She turned on the spot to allowed Erin to appreciate the dress she thought she was wearing, because it seemed to Erin that Beth was unaware that she was naked in bodypaint.
Not wanting to be the one to bring the truth of her costume to the waitress' attention, Erin told Beth that she looked good in it and Beth returned the favour. Erin ordered a glass of white wine and asked if there was just the show on stage and the food going on. Beth seemed happy to tell her that she had been told that there were several magicians doing private shows and demonstrating new illusion ideas in the conference rooms, that were through some doors at the back of the hall.
When Beth returned with the generously filled glass, Erin took it and wandered in the direction of the conference facilities, because it seemed that with so many potential volunteers in the room, she was not likely to get much of a chance to be one of the lucky one's on stage.
Beyond the door was area with a bar at the other end and seating grouped about. The walls of the area housed a collection of doors each seeming to have a sign on or beside, written and worded with various degrees of professionalism.
Erin did not get far, before she was approached by a nervous looking young man who might have turned twenty. "Excuse me," he began, "I'm looking for a volunteer to help demonstrate a new project that I've been working on. Would you mind helping me?"
Erin felt flattered that he had chosen to ask her when you could not throw a stone without hitting someone with volunteer potential.
The young man took her surprise and hesitation as potential rejection. "I'm sorry I disturbed you, I'll go and ask somebody else."
Erin put her hand on the sleeve of his black pullover as he turned. He paused as she said, "I haven't said no, yet. I was just surprised that you picked me. Tell me a bit more. Like why did you pick me, when you could probably have your pick of almost anyone?"
The young magician tried to stand straighter, "My name is Charles Pennington and I've got an illusion to show a few people and anyone else who cares to come and watch. Mr Jackson, he's my magic mentor, has taught me what I needed to know to do the trick. He and a couple of the more senior magicians will be assessing me to see if I am good enough to join the local magic society. Because I don't have a girlfriend to do it on, I need to find a volunteer and you are pretty and the perfect size and in your outfit and with the spare costumes I brought with me, you match the theme just right."
"Ok, I'll do it."
"But you don't know what I have planned."
"I feel sure that you'll take good care of me, because you not going to pass your assessment if I scream a lot or you don't put me back together afterwards. And I guess if the worst happens and you mess it up, there will be a few magicians on hand to straighten me out again. Besides, I've been picked by a few magicians before; I think I have some idea of what I'm letting myself in for."
"Great! It's this way. I'm scheduled to starting in about five minutes; just enough time to get my costume on and calm myself for the performance." He placed his other hand over Erin's hand which was still on his arm. Charles led her through a door where something covered in a cloth stood in the centre of a ring of chairs. He invited her to take a seat while he got ready and asked her to invite anyone who came in to have a seat too, because the performance will be in a few minutes.
Charles went off. While he was away a few people drifted in; Erin invited them to stay, saying that the magician would be back in a few minutes. A group of men in suits walked in. Their leader, who wore a rumpled suit, asked where 'Charlie' was.
Erin responded that Charles had gone to get into costume.
"So, who are you?" he asked.
"I'm Erin, Charles came up to me and asked if I would help him with an illusion and I said yes."
The suited men sat on the chairs and the one who had spoken to Erin wished her luck.
Soon Charles returned in possibly the worst costume Erin could imagine; it was a blood-stained white lab-coat, with a badge saying that he was 'Dr. Charlie Penn.' and a stethoscope draped round his neck. The connection with her costume was blatant.
Charles nodded and smiled at Erin and then went to greet the suited men. He returned to the middle of the ring of chairs and looked again at Erin, "Nurse, is the patient prepped?"
Erin was the only one present in a nurse's outfit, so she replied. "What patient? You didn't say anything about a patient." She stood and walked towards him and hoped she was playing the role right.
"I'm a doctor and you're a nurse; of course, we should have a patient."
Erin hung her head and shook it side-to-side. "I don't remember you mentioning a patient."
"Oh well," Charles huffed, "It's too late now. You'll have to stand in for the patient."
"Me? But didn't you mention the word 'cut' when you recruited me to help? Will this procedure damage my uniform?"
"Of course, it will if you leave it on. So you had best take it off and if you're feeling shy there's a bikini you can change into, otherwise you can leave your underwear on; it won't come to any harm."
Erin reached back and unzipped the dress and slipped out of it to show her underwear. While she folded her uniform and placed it on the chair she had been sitting on, the audience took in what she had been wearing underneath. They noted that the underwear matched, a fair indication that the young lady playing the nurse character had intended, or planned for, the possibility that it might be on show at some point. The black satin bra and panties with red lace trim was a sexy contrast to her pale skin.
Charles paused and looked towards the suited men; he seemed to express in that look that he knew how lucky was to have selected such a volunteer.
There was an awkward moment when Charles seemed to have forgotten what he meant to say next. Then it came back to him. "Ok, nurse, let's show these good people the wonders of this operating table." He put on a puzzled expression. "Since you have become the patient and you are not wearing your nurse's uniform any more, what shall I call you?"
"Call me Erin,"
"Thank you, Erin." Charles pulled the cloth from the apparatus that had been standing the centre of the arena since Erin arrived. She was a little disappointed by the look of it. It was a flat topped trolley about six feet long and three feet wide. She could detect some marking as a different shade of black from the black of the trolley's surface, but doubted that the audience could. There was a collection of things on the bottom shelf, but she was paying more attention to the three raised sections on the upper surface, the first was central on the width about a foot from one end and was a piece of black painted board with a semi-circular dip in the top. The two at the other end was side-by side, smaller and spaced about eight inches apart.
"I guess you want me to lie on the table, right?" Erin speculated out loud.
"Yes, please," replied Charles.
"But won't those bits sticking up be in the way?"
"I'm glad you pointed them out, because they are there for your safety and comfort." Seeing Erin's puzzlement, he added, "We'll get to that when it becomes relevant, in the meantime, just lie on the table, so that your neck rests in the dip on the upright at that end." he waved in the direction of the single upright. "And place your shins or ankles in the uprights at the other end."
Getting onto the table did not take much effort, because it was quite low so that the audience could see what was going on without the need to stand. Having been given an orientation Erin sat in the middle and then rotated to locate her shins in the dips in the lower uprights and then lowered herself to find the upper upright which it seemed was meant to be a neck-rest. She relaxed into the table and found that it had enough give in the surface to not be uncomfortable and the uprights felt as if they were supporting her shins and neck, even if they would make turning her head to look at the audience more difficult.
Erin lay on the table for a few seconds wondering why Charles had not helped her get into position. It was soon apparent that he was fetching a cover. The cover was lifted over Erin by a couple of the handles on the top and then lowered it into place. It soon became evident what the uprights were for; they fitted into sections of the cabinet walls trapping Erin's neck and lower shins in place.
While Charles was clipping the clear plastic cover to the table and Erin made some small adjustments to her position to be a little more comfortable, the magician began his patter.
"You may be aware that anaesthetising a patient has its risks." He paused as if to acknowledge the nods that might have been forthcoming from a knowledgeable audience. "So, you are wondering why multiple teams of surgeons don't operate at the same time on different parts of the patient. To which the obvious response is, 'because they would get in each others way.'"
Charles continued that it would be useful if the different parts of the patients which the different surgeons wanted to work on were on separate tables, so that most use could be made of the time during which the patient was out. While he talked through this, reached into through some holes in the cover to guide Erin's hands out through those holes which were over her abdomen.
"Some of you may already be familiar with the technique I'm about to employ. Today I plan to demonstrate that is technique can be extended to allow many more practitioners access to various body parts at the same time."
While Charles spoke, Erin was trying to work out what might be done to her, given the clear cover that had been placed over her and locked to the table. Her head was in a box section with the lower wall holding her head in place; she was relieved to see that there were some holes drilled in the clear plastic of her enclosure that would ensure she did not run out of air to breath. The rest of her body was in the remainder of the cover, except her feet which stuck out the far end of the cover and her hands that poked through the top.
Charles pulled a couple of rods from the long upper edges of cover, which he explained, to the audience, as being there to hold the cover together while it was being moved. He told them it made things quicker than the alternative of placing each section of the cover individually.
"Now to the crux of the matter. Let's say, for instance that Erin, here, is suffering from an in-growing toenail and a ruptured appendix. It is quite obvious that there is not enough room around this trolley for the number of people needed to make both those surgeries a success. So, we divide the various sections that need treatment from each other, let the surgeons get on with it and then put her back together afterwards."
"In case some of you are sceptical that what you see under the cover is all Erin and nothing but Erin, we have a traditional demonstration." Charles drew a feather from inside his lab-coat and applied with a will to Erin's toes.
Erin giggled and breathed hard enough to mist the head section of the cover a little. The movement of her body under the cover as she wriggle in a futile attempt to move her feet from the feather, left nobody in any doubt that what they could see was Erin and nothing else.
"With that formality over, we can now address the problem of how to divide Erin's toe from her appendix. Some people advocate modern methods like lasers or ancient means such as swords; I like some tradition, so for this demonstration I shall be using a trusty hand saw; or in the case of first part of this demonstration a leg saw."
While some of the audience giggled, Erin spotted out of the corner of her eye that the man in the rumpled suit was frowning slightly.
Charles straightened up from collecting an item from the bottom shelf of the trolley. He showed it the audience, but Erin also got a glimpse of it. He had in his hand a wood-working saw; the dull metal of the 22 inch blade was fringed on one side with small triangular teeth and at the wide end of the tapering blade there was a green and black plastic handle. It seemed to be a saw that had spent too long in the tool-shed. Despite its appearance, when the magician slid it in through a slot in the edge of the trolley and the edge of the cover, Erin instantly know that it was sharper that it needed to be to saw through her right upper thigh.
For an instant pain blossomed where the saw sliced into her leg, but this did not worry Erin, because her experience was that the initial pain faded to be replaced by a lingering pleasure. She winced, but then smiled as it seemed the pain vanished quicker than usual and was replaced by at least as much good feelings. The audience watched the tip of the saw as Charles pushed it up and down below the table's top. Erin felt her thigh bone part and then soon after experienced the pain of the saw biting into her left thigh before it had finished her right; again the pain subsided quickly. Soon after she felt her left femur divided, the saw finish the cut and the magician pull it from a slot in the side of the cover and table. He held it up to display that the saw lacked the blood that might have been expected if magic had not been involved.
Charles laid the saw on top of the cover; unintentionally he did this in such a way that Erin could see the teeth of the saw, which she was glad did not bear any evident of their transit through her upper thighs. She still shivered slightly at the thought that she had let this happen. This shiver coincided with the magician inserting the first divider into the slot that he had just used as a sawing guide.
"I'm sorry if the blades are a little cold," he said and breathed on the partner blade before inserting it. Erin did not shiver this time.
The magician took up the saw again and slotted into the cover about half an inch below the base of her ribs. The cut went as smoothly as the ones through Erin's legs; This cut passed through Erin's arms at the elbows as well as her cutting her torso, a little below her ribs. Charles made a point of breathing on the blades, so that they were not cold. Erin did not think that it made much difference to the temperature of the dividers, but she appreciated the effort; he was trying to make this a pleasant experience.
"The point of all this sawing, is to remove this section and allow one set of doctors to operate on one section while another set of doctors works on another and so that they don't get in each other's way." He took hold of the handles at either end of Erin's middle section and lifted it away and placed it at an angle on top of her legs.
The audience took in Erin's predicament; on the table top was Erin's head, shoulders, chest and upper arms, then there was a gap bridged by two slim metal tubes that had supported the section from the middle, then Erin's legs with her feet sticking out of the bottom. Above her legs was the section with her middle and her lower arms with hands sticking out of the top of it.
Charles got a table and transferred Erin's middle to the newly set up table. There was a moment of astounded silence, until the magician took out the feather again and tickled Erin's feet, producing jiggling movement in the spaced out section and near hysterical giggling from Erin.
"As you can see Erin is in three pieces; well four if you count her legs as separate entities. But, of course we needn't stop there. We can detach her feet to allow each one to be operated on." This was immediately followed by Charles sawing through Erin's lower legs and after the blades were inserted, the shelf on which her feet rested was moved to another table and tickled to verify that Erin was still alive and could still feel her feet and react with every section of her body.
"This next bit is very easy, because I don't need to cut anything," announced Charles, before lifting each remaining section of leg, each consisting of a thigh, a knee and a calf, and placing then on yet more small tables. Erin was relieved that he did not return to tickle her feet for this stage.
"Naturally, we can remove any section that needs to be worked on. For instance, if something is going on with the hips and something else is happening that needs dealing with in her abdomen, it is the work of minutes to cut here." Charles drew his finger across the cover of her mid-section, before lifting her middle back onto the trolley and setting it down where her legs had started out. The saw did its work, a new set of dividers were inserted and her hips, still in her satin panties, were replaced on the table that had been host to them when they were still attached to her belly.
The magician turned the saw sideways and began sawing up her belly from her waist, through her belly button and to where the base of her ribs would normally be. He was saying that sometimes more than one team needed to work on the same section. He also pointed out that this would make kidney transplants a lot less fiddly. In less than another minute blades went in and the left and right halves of her abdomen went their separate ways with her lower arms and hands still with them.
Erin looked on from her poor vantage, trying not to make too much fuss about the initial pain of being cut and the pleasure that quickly followed. She could feel her parts being moved about in a way that made her a little bit queasy in the way that motion sickness does. She assumed that her ordeal was over when Charles loomed over the box containing her head and chest and began to locate the saw in the slot that would have it pass through her neck. She found that she could not speak to object to the obvious plan, but could not tell if the cause of this was her terror or Charles' magic.
After the starting scratch of the saw against her neck, the pleasure rose quickly and seemed to join with residual joy from the other cuts, causing her body to feel as if it was vibrating with pleasure. What the audience saw was the various scattered parts of Erin body tense and at the moment the saw finished passing through her neck, relax again.
The magician smiled down at Erin as he moved her head to another table, once the dividers had been pushed through the gap in her neck. Distracted by the pleasure and disoriented by having her head moved, she was only vaguely aware that Charles had mentioned that it would have been possibly to divided her shoulders from each other, but he was not going to do this because he did not want to ruin Erin's expensive lingerie.
"Well, that all there is to this, I hope you enjoyed the show. I shall be leaving Erin here in her eight sections and eleven pieces for you to inspect and I shall be about, to answer any questions that you might have."
Erin watched as the men in suits consulted with each other, but got a bit distracted by someone tickling her feet, which was ok, until someone else began to suck her toes. This prompted Charles to announce that people should ask if Erin minded, before doing anything to her.
He also came and let Erin know that she would remain in parts until the entire audience had drifted off, at which point her would put her back together, because reversing this illusion required more time and care than the audience was likely to hang around for.
The man in the rumpled suit came over and thanked Erin for helping his protégé, then went to shake Charles' hand. It seemed that the group had been satisfied with his performance and he was soon to be inducted into the magic society. The man advised Charles that he should be looking out for an permanent assistant, because unlike events like this one, he was unlikely to find willing women at every venue.
Once the crowd had wandered off, Charles began the task of rebuilding Erin, which proved to be as tricky and long-winded as he had implied it might be. The good things about it was that as each part rejoined there was a pleasant spark that ricocheted around her body and he needed to handle her body to achieve this and his hands were warm and the way her moved her parts felt like a massage.
Once she was in one piece and back in her nurse's outfit, Charles asked her how it felt. Erin told him that it generally felt much better than some of the other magician's she had volunteered for and that there was still a little pain to begin each cut.
Charles seemed relieved and told Erin that he had particularly been working on making the experience of the assistant or volunteer as pleasant as possible, since his first adult volunteer had complained about the pain he had inflicted on her.
Then he offered to take her on as an assistant, if she would like to do that.
Regretfully, Erin declined this offer, because she could not afford the time it would take from her studies and work. But she did promise that she would be very willing to volunteer for him if she happened to be at any of his shows.
