I was at the Seattle Aquarium last summer and I remember being absolutely mesmerized by the dwarf cuttlefish. I love the way they effortlessly and smoothly change color over time, like they can’t quite decide exactly what they want the pattern on their back to look like. And they have cool wiggly wavy fins. Not to mention they’re he***ng adorable! I thought I could watch them all day until they all decided to take a nap or something, and they were like “Dude, I’m just a rock, what do you want from me?”
So that’s what sparked the idea of creating this woman. She has the ability change her hair color, as well as the color and texture of her skin. And she can see things with her butt. So, all in all, she has a pretty wide variety of skills.
Somewhat fittingly, I was listening to “dybt vand” by Svenstrup & Vendelboe while making this, which translates to “deep water”.
