I drew something simple because I wanted to test an idea I had for a new way to approach warm lighting. Last time I tried to make this kind of "purely" warm lighting, I made the mistake of reddening both the shadows and many of the illuminated parts, which meant that many of the middle tones looked vaguely greenish in comparison. You may not have noticed this, but I did, so this time I’ve kept the shadows reddened while making the main light more yellow. Except for the light on her hair. Julia’s hair just does its own thing, for better or worse.
