So, here&#8217;s the deal:<br /><br />I got a request from <span class="username-with-symbol u"><a class="u regular username" href="https://oskeres.deviantart.com">oskeres</a><span class="user-symbol regular" data-quicktip-text="" data-show-tooltip="" data-gruser-type="regular"></span></span> for <a href="http://fav.me/db3gtd7">these twins</a> in formal-wear or in a night club (By the way, the humantaur is called Sam and the four-armed is called Lin, because I say so). At first I thought &#8220;formalwear&#8221; just meant business suits, which isn&#8217;t really my thing. Although, I didn&#8217;t really know what women actually wear at night clubs, cuz I&#8217;ve never been to one, so I googled the phrase &#8220;night club outfit&#8221; just to get a general idea. Turns out: I got lots of images of women in sexy, revealing dresses, which was perfect, because sexy dresses are sexy. So, I drew the twins in some sexy dresses and colored them. <br /><br />I then had to draw a background, so I googled the phrase &#8220;night club&#8221; to get some inspiration. Turns out: I got lots of images of night clubs where people just wore casual clothes&#8230; huh&#8230; apparently, my previous image search had deceived me. Oh well, I thought, I&#8217;ll just keep the dresses. They look nice. So, I drew a dark background with a dark, hastily drawn crowd, some green lasers, and a blue mist. Then I realized I had made a mistake: they&#8217;re in a dark room and the main source of light is blue, and yet their colors appear to be clear as day. They stood out like a torch in a cave. So, I either had to recolor them so that they were almost purely shades of blue, or I had to give them another light source to make them look normal. I went with the latter and made two spot lights pointed at them (two for the sake of symmetry). But then I thought: why would a night club have two bright spotlights pointed at random guests like this? They&#8217;re not doing any dancing or anything. Then I went &#8220;fuck it!&#8221; and scrapped the background. &#8220;Now they&#8217;re at a prom. A well-lit prom with a slutty dress code, and they&#8217;re just gonna have to deal with it.&#8221;<br /><br />And that is the story of how this drawing came to be.
