So I was reading Percy Jackson a while ago when I stumbled upon this beauty: Kampê (pronounced sorta like "kam-pay")
In the book she was described as having...
- the upper body of a woman with snake hair, like Medusa
- the body of a dragon from the waist and down
- black wings
- a spiky tail
- viper snakes around her legs
- bubbly skin around her waist where heads of wild beasts would bubble up
- a pair of scimitars soaked in boiling poison
As you can probably tell,
this was one of the most OP things ever, but also very hard to visualize without any illustration, so I decided to draw her.
I researched her and found out that some said that she also had a scorpion tail filled with venom (even more OP-ness) and that the snakes around her legs were actually on her ankles. Other than that, she was described her human part as being "beautiful", but someone else said that she had "terrible shoulders". Not sure how that fits together. I don't know why I didn't include the animal heads. Those would have been badass.
And that's how this drawing came to be...
