Volume One of my first properly done piece of literature.<br /><br />I've been writing for years, but this is the first time a project like this has come together. This is Volume One, a compilation of the first three chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 have been relegated to the scraps folder.<br /><br />I'm actually pretty proud of this, how much I've been able to <i>just keep writing</i>. For ages, I went through this cycle of a flash of inspiration, a frenzied start, and then the project would die. Why? I was too much of a damn perfectionist. I wanted to map out my story before I did anything else, which was a huge mistake, because I am an exceedingly lazy person.<br /><br />When I started the NaNoWriMo this year, that changed. In this serialized format, where you just <i>write</i> and don't focus on the outcome, and it's split into just 750 words a day, my output skyrocketed. And this is the result.<br /><br />You can look forward to a new volume about once a month, perhaps more depending on how much university is killing my free time.<br /><br />For now, enjoy, and I do very much appreciate the feedback.
