Description: Akiko was born on April 17, 1972 in Toyama, Japan to electronics salesman Kouichirou Takaoka and homemaker Misuzu Takaoka née Kudou. She lived in Toyama with her parents, older brother Mikihito, and younger brother Tsuneo until middle school, when her father’s work moved them to Tokyo. She had a bit of a tough time adjusting to social life in her new hometown, mostly due to Mikihito’s reputation amongst his school’s student body, but she eventually settled in after a year or so. Her initial goal after high school was to attend Tokyo University and obtain a degree in journalism, but things changed when she started dating Hisashi Kuribayashi, a biomedical engineering student working towards his master’s degree.

A few dates in and in little to no time at all, Akiko found herself pregnant at 19 with Hisashi’s child. She married Hisashi and the two of them moved into an apartment in the Minato Ward, but once their first child, Izami, was born, they realized they not only had to take good care of her, but they needed money to help support the three of them. So while Hisashi got a paid research position he could provide the bulk of their income with, Akiko dropped out of college to take care of Izami during the day, while during the night, she made the remainder of their combined income through a job as a waitress at a 24-hour diner. Two years after Izami was born, Hisashi and Akiko had their second daughter, Yume. A few months later, Hisashi completed his master’s degree and got a job at a biomedical research firm in Hsonkou, a multicultural Chinese port town located south of Shanghai. The family moved there with near-immediacy.

While Hisashi got settled into his new job, Akiko sought another night job, eventually landing one as a waitress at an S&M club. She only had that position for four months, though, as a leave from the club staff combined with her means of dealing with the more perverted customers saw her position change to that of a dominatrix. That latter job proved better-paying and much more fun than she expected, so she stuck with it, working at multiple other BDSM clubs across Hsonkou. Eventually, Hisashi gained a promotion that earned him enough money such that not only could the family move from an apartment to a house, but he no longer required the extra income from Akiko. She resigned from her position after twelve years, but even so, Akiko still kept herself involved in the BDSM community whenever the opportunity arose in the time that followed, to the point of making a makeshift dungeon out of her basement and writing erotic stories with S&M as a running theme in her spare time.

In the summer of 2009, Hisashi suddenly went missing while in the middle of a research project looking into the then-controversial topic skin cell regeneration, with search efforts ceasing after six months and his status changing to presumed dead. As a result of her husband’s disappearance, Akiko wound up taking care of her two daughters, already in their mid-to-late teens, by herself, occasionally booking guest appearances at some of the clubs she previously worked at, plus new ones that cropped up, to provide necessary income. Things changed further when, in the spring of 2011, Yume disappeared suddenly after visiting a neighboring town, with Izami following not long after.

It was only a few months later that Akiko learned that both Yume and Izami had become slaves to Lilly Smith, a sorceress hailing from a world called Trivium accessible through an interdimensional portal located on the outskirts of Hsonkou. After meeting Lilly and seeing what type of person she was, Akiko decided to join her as well, so she could be closer to her daughters again. Through a little persuasion, Akiko joined Lilly’s slave harem as one of multiple head slaves, though her technical position is of the apprentice head slave sub-rank. She currently serves as the head of domestic affairs – the oversight of housework, that is – at Lilly’s main home of Topaz Tower, having displaced her chief head slave Dame Renna Vaynore in overseeing such tasks. She also accompanies Lilly on many of her business trips, more often than not those to Starcoast City. Other times, if the situation calls for it, she serves as Lilly’s knight, and has recently taken up training in magical arts as an added skill to use in times of crisis.

Being a mother, Akiko is generally a kind and caring person, though her methods of showing such kindness and caring tend to inch into the more playful and perverted definitions of such, especially concerning her daughters. However, as a result of her employment history, she can also be quite assertive, though stops short of outright cruelty, and always with a motherly overtone of varying degrees. She’s also easily forgiving, assuming you mean no serious harm to her or those she cares about, though that attitude can change if she finds out you’re lying about it. And while mostly dominant, she also has a submissive side that she shows only around those who have clear power and authority over her beyond any type of class system. Which at this point means it’s just Lilly she’s sub to.

A character belonging to YumeKuribayashi. Like Lilly Smith she was originally used for role plays and has a lengthy backstory as she uses her for other role plays on HouseEros, along with Yume and Izumi. Her back story was mostly copied over for the Topaz Tower RP, which is what my Trivium stories are based on.

I commissioned this picture years ago and used the SFW version posted by Argrim for the character sheet. However, DA changed the format, removing the image preview in the thumbnail. I no longer felt the need to keep using that version but you can see it for yourself.

I had to repost all my character sheets for the new format, so I decided why not use the NSFW version of her outfit, as Lilly makes her walk around the tower like that. The rubies on her collar control her outfit, allowing her to change in a flash but she only has a couple of preset outfits, most of them kinky. She does have a dress for formal wear, as she can be expected to serve as Lilly's +1.
