Description: Lilly was born under the name Rose Godwin. She had the misfortune of being born a lesbian in a homophobic household. Her father’s very vocal disapproval of LGBTQ+ individuals caused her to remain in the closet, even into her adult life. She had a few boyfriends for appearance’s sake, but could never really get into it with any of them.
She was also a rather bright girl, always getting good grades when she applied herself, and had a strong work ethic. She had a knack for numbers and organization. After college, she entered the work force and attempted to climb the corporate ladder. However, her boss had little opinion of her, relegating her to menial tasks and passing her over in favor of her male colleagues.
After a few years, she grew tired of this cycle. Still, she had no way of changing it without losing her meager yet steady source of income. That all changed one when she had used some of her vacation days to get some much-needed R&R . By chance, she had wandered into the world of Trivium and found herself in Thundering Oak. It wasn't long before she ended up in the dungeon of Mistress Lilly Smith.
It was strangely liberating being in bondage. While she felt like she had to hide who she was even at work, there she could be open with who she was. She could enjoy being with another woman and she could mouth off to her boss, albeit with a minor penalty. She was also allowed to advance; her boss was still sexist, but that wouldn't hold her back. Now if only she knew who she truly was. She had been playing a role for so long, she wasn't sure anymore.
It wasn't long before her work ethic was noticed and she was given more responsibilities. Lilly took her under her wing and trained her in business practices. In a little over a nonconsecutive decade, she had risen through the ranks of Lilly's harem and was allowed to use her name when negotiating deals on her behalf.
Rose was then sent back to Earth, but in a different route than how she arrived. Lilly had timed her return to coincide with her departure, right down to the day. She returned to her old life, but only temporarily. She quit her job, finally telling off her boss on the way out. She then legally changed her name to Lilly Smith and moved to Kansas. After winning the lottery, she founded a company on her Mistress' behalf, Synth-Fusion Industries.
This proved convenient, thanks to Rose’s resemblance to Lilly. Their faces were similar, they were about the same height, and their skin tone wasn't that off. With make up and hair dye, she slowly changed her appearance to match that of her mistress. In time, they were able to switch out without raising any eyebrows.
As time went on, it was no longer necessary for her to maintain such a regiment. Lilly had developed a new toy, a synthetic decoy. It looked just like the original Lilly. The real Rose was turned to stone and locked away in a hidden location, her mind still aware. She was able to control the decoy with her mind, able to live through it, or even switch between decoys as she wished.
She was still an actress, playing a part, but it was one she could enjoy. She adopted part of Mistress Lilly's mischievous nature, or perhaps it was always there, lurking beneath the surface. Toying with people has become something of a hobby of hers. Unfortunately, she hasn't adopted her talent for invention. She's learned enough about technology to get by in the field and to understand what her engineers are saying, but her specialty is in the board room and with paperwork. She has proven herself by being able to manage Lilly's tangled mess of a company, although it was necessary to put managers in charge of the subsidiaries and shell companies under its umbrella. The whole system was set up as a front for Lilly to gather resources and technologies from Earth, after all.
On paper, she is a single mother, but she's never given birth. Her child actually an imp that poses as a little girl. Eventually, when "Lilly" grows old and has to step down, her daughter, Lilly Jr., will take over. Naturally, this will just be her switching faces to explain away how she lives so long.
