The daughter of a very promiscuous mother, Taiga quickly had to learn to take care of herself. She developed skills as a hunter to feed her sisters and became a skilled tracker.
In time, she set herself up as a mercenary and bounty hunter. She often worked with Wrecka on missions and still calls her Rezee.
Like with many of her minions, Esmeralda subjected Taiga to her enchantment experiments. Normally, Taiga looks the same as she always has, but she has the power to transform herself, growing larger and covering herself with tiger-stripe patterned green fur, her normally orange hair turning dark green to match. In her transformed state, she is far stronger, faster, and more agile then normal. She also has enhanced sight, hearing, and smell, aiding her tracking skills. However, this state also burns a lot of calories, requiring her to eat more and therefore, she uses it sparely.
As she was a seasoned hunter and possessed heightened senses, Taiga was placed in the Jade Jackal Squad, Esmeralda's tracking and enforcement team. She often takes points when cashing a target through the wilderness.
Her weapons of choice remain a pair of short swords and throwing knives. In her weretiger state, she will often use her powerful claws and move on all fours. In both forms, she prefers to rely on her agility, evading her opponent's attacks while going for the kill.

Jade Jackal SquadTraveling through the wild can be dangerous, even along established roads. You never know when monsters and bandits could emerge from the woods to attack.
This was evident by the giant lizards surrounding the Jade Jackal Squad as they traveled on one such dirt road. Each was over three feet tall, and some were over five. They had multiple rows of sharp teeth and many were more than willing to show them off.
Dressed in forest green cloaks, Barbara, Wrecka, Irene, and Taiga were a team of mercenaries and their latest mission had taken then into deadly territory. Still, this was hardly the first time they had faced monsters, a common occupational hazard. Of course, each of them could be considered a monster depending on who you ask.
