Bellatrix can be sweet when she needs to be, but is generally a very sadistic woman. She enjoys playing with her slaves in her dungeon and dishing out punishments, sometimes even spanking them for the mere fun of it.
She founded the Sliver Hourglass and has built it up over the past several decades, turning it into a prominent department store. It carries a wide range of products, mostly magical on some level. A good chunk of it is devoted to fashion, but also has some more practical products as well.
Bellatrix is also skilled at body modification magic, having used it to maintain the appearance and vitality of a thirtysomething woman. She also offers this as a service, but has been known to force this on her slaves, changing their appearance slightly to suit her tastes.
BM-0013, or 13 for short, is her right-hand slave. She almost always follows her around and does what ever task Bellatrix needs from her on a whim. This ranges from holding her things to helping her dress and even servicing her in bed. She is also the unfortunate stress reliever of Bellatrix, being the outlet of her anger whenever the cause is out of her mistress's reach.
Like Lilly, Bellatrix will also take missions if the pay is right, typically making use of a bodyguard who is also under her collar. However, it's rare she will take a mission that goes far beyond the influence of Starcoast.
Bellatrix was one of the first characters I came up with when I decided to start writing stories to post to DeviantArt. She was the main character one of the original three stories I had planned, not counting the Nancy in the Box segments. I wanted to set her up as Lilly's rival and introduce her in A Slave to the Omnisuit, asll they are all parted of the shared Trivium universe. However, it took me longer than I thought to get to her and I have yet to start writing her story.
She first shows up in
Chapter 16 of A Slave to the Omnisuit, and I plan on having her appear in later chapters. She has a much larger role in
Fox Hunt and I plan to give her a more involved role in an upcoming story before moving onto the one centering around her.
