One of the legendary suits of royal armor from the kingdom of Havas is up for grabs and the drow mage Mercy Anaxarete seeks to claim it. But can she be sure the royal family won't make it that easy on her?



I got the idea for this story from Magic and Latex = Personal Disaster by :iconnobody-kadaj: which he wrote for :iconargrim:'s contest. I rather liked it and thought it would work well in Trivium. For once, this has nothing to do with Lilly. Instead, I invented another kingdom we haven't visited before and did a little world-building. I likely should have come up with the gods I mentioned in more detail. Oh well.

Magic and Latex = Personal Disaster    "For heaven's sake!" griped a frustrated young woman. She appeared to be in her late 20s to early 30s. "Agloria, you really messed this one up!"
    Just a few short weeks ago, the young woman, Agloria, heard about a material called latex. Curious, she did research on it, even raising money to buy one and get an internet connection. She discovered it could be made into clothing, so, to form an opinion on it, she opted to try ordering some to test it out.
    Agloria wasn't a normal woman. In fact, she had powerful magic at her disposal. Plus, she was born three-thousand years prior, died once when she was young, and then was brought back to life only a few months ago after existing as a ghost. Courtesy of a shopping trip, she wore a black dress with matching slippers. Her shoulder-length hair was pink, her eyes were purple, and her skin was quite fair.
