Description: Elektra was a simple gorgon living in some small mountains not far from the deserts of her birth. She lived inside a cave, attacking those who would wander into her forest. As luck would have it, there was a lesser-used trading route nearby and she would snatch up travelers when she felt she needed to fill an empty spot. Because her stone gaze wasn't permanent, she had to be careful not to let it wear off, pumping her magic into her victims to renew its effects.

She lived like that for half a century. Then, one day, she captured a pair of slaves with collars she couldn't remove when they were traveling and took them back to her cave. Unfortunately, these slaves belonged to the sorceress Lilly Smith, who tracked their movements. She was soon captured by blind slime, taking the bait as it was in the form of a nude woman.

She was then conscripted into Lilly's service. Her main eyes were sealed away until she donned her collar. Her golden visor is enchanted. When she is alone, it becomes transparent, but when she comes in range of Lilly or one wearing her collar, then it becomes opaque, blocking her powers. Thanks to her snakes, she can still see, even with her main eyes trapped in darkness.

Eventually, she was given the task of guarding the forest of Thundering Oak. Her job is to simply petrify any intruders and call the maids for pick-up once they are all neutralized. She hated it at first, but in time learned to enjoy it, once again hunting people and turning them to stone like in the old days. After a while, Lilly gave Elektra a cave on her grounds, allowing her a gallery of her own, albeit smaller then before. The magic lamps keep her victims frozen in stone.

Originally, Elektra's stone gaze lasted over 30 hours, but Lilly shortened it to 24 hours. The trade-off for this reduction was an increase in the penetrating power of her gaze, making it kick in faster, even against resistance.

While she has gained a certain amount of loyalty to Lilly, she is still embarrassed by her blindfold. She has taken to wearing a veil, covering it completely when she makes more social visits.
