I was running late, but I was determined not to miss the magic show. It may surprise you who know me, but I had never been to a magic show before. I was planning on going to one last year, but then everything got shut down because of the pandemic, so I made sure I wasn't going to miss this one. I just barely squeaked in there as the show was getting started.

The magician was named Steve something (I didn't get his last name). He was a tall man, maybe 6'5" tall, had long jet black hair and goatee. He was dressed all in black.

So far in the show, he had pulled a rabbit out of a hat, made a girl disappear, sawn a woman in half and did some other tricks.

As the show reached it's climax, a chair and some rope were brought out, and couple of big tough looking men dressed in black and wearing ski masks walked out on the stage.

Steve turned to them and said, "Bring me a girl."

They walked out into the audience looking around. They came to where I was sitting, grabbed me, and forced me onto the stage. I was wearing a tight black t-shirt that showed off some cleavage, and denim shorts.

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? LET ME GO!" I yelled. But it did no good.

They brought me to the magician and he demanded to know my name.

At first I refused to answer, but after one of the guys twisted my arm, I said, "Carlie"

Steve pointed to the chair, and the two guy sat me in it, tied me to it and put tape over my mouth. I thought to myself, "Oh great! A magician with a bondage fetish."

As I sat there wondering what was about to happen to me, the magician pulled out a large, very sharp looking knife. My eyes widened as he held it in front of my face, then brought it down in front of my chest. I shook my head and tried pleading with him, but that was difficult with the tape on my mouth. He grabbed me by my hair and placed the cold blade against my neck.

"Mmm... mmm.... mmm...." I tried to say no, but it was no use with the tape on my mouth. This wasn't the way I pictured myself dying. Why couldn't he do this to one of his trained assistants?

The audience was on the edge of their seats as Steve started slicing into my neck. I thought he was just going to slit my throat, but he kept going. "Oh god, he's going to cut my head off!" I thought to myself. I was going to die a brutal death right here in front of everybody.

As he cut deeper into my neck, I realized that it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, and although I couldn't see it, it didn't feel like there was any blood dripping down my neck. I could feel him cutting through my spine, and thought to myself, "Hey, I might actually live through this! I sure hope he can put my head back on."

Steve sliced through the back of my neck, put the knife away, and picked up my head. The audience gasped as he held up my severed head by the hair. He handed my head to one of his female assistants, who held out for the audience to see before walking off stage with it. The two guys who forced me on stage then picked up the chair with my headless body tied to it and walked off stage with it.

Steve faced the audience and said, "Well, that concludes our show for this evening. I hope you had a great time (the audience applauded). And since I know that there are probably some skeptics out there who don't believe what you've just seen, Carlie will be out in the lobby for you to examine for yourselves before you leave. Please behave yourselves as you examine her. Goodnight, everyone!"

The audience gave Steve a standing ovation as he walked off stage.

My headless body was set in the lobby still tied to the chair. My severed head was placed on a pedestal next to it with the tape still on my mouth, and a couple of security guards stood nearby to make sure people didn't get too touchy-feely.

One by one, the audience members walked past, some touched my neck stump, while some picked up my head. They all left convinced that I had been beheaded.

The security guards left after the last audience member left, and I was left all alone for several minutes. I began to wonder what would happen to me. Would the magician be able to put me back together? Would I be left on display like this? Would the magician mount my head on his wall like a trophy and use my body for his own pleasure? Your mind can play funny tricks on you when your head isn't attached.

While I was thinking about these things, Steve walked in, picked up my head and ripped the tape off.

"OW! YOU KNOW, YOU COULD WARN SOMEONE BEFORE YOU FORCE THEM ON STAGE AND CUT THEIR HEAD OFF!" I Said.

"Where would the fun be in that. Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I'll by you a drink." Steve said.

"I'm only 19, I'm not old enough to drink." I replied.

"Oh... well let's put your head back on." He said.

Steve put my head back on my neck stump and I could feel it reattach. He then untied me. I felt my neck to make sure everything was okay, and it was.

"You know, I'm gonna be back here soon. Here's some free tickets to the show." Steve said.

"Do you really think I would come back after what you did to me?" I asked him.

"But did you die?" He replied.

He had a point. I took the tickets from him, said goodbye and left.

    The end
