The shopkeeper looked down at the counter, then up at the customer, then back down. "So...you want to sell...this?"

"Yes. How much will you give me?"

The man had no words. Never before had he been presented with a detached foot to add to his inventory. Usually, people would come by with expensive watches, rings, priceless antiques---but not today. "I don't know if I can take this. Why get rid of it anyway?"

She pointed to the small tattoo on the side. "That terrible tattoo. It was supposed to be a tulip, but the guy was way too high. I'm sure someone won't mind. And it's clean too!"

Standing firm, the shopkeeper shook his head and pushed the detached foot back to the edge of the counter. "I'm sorry. Maybe you should research proper tattoo artists before you just impulsively get one."
