"Excuse me sir! Could you give me a hand please?"

I know, this sounds like a trap, someone who wants to mug me. But it was a beautiful woman, around my age I guess, standing under the overhang of a storefront, ladies underwear is my first guess.

Obviously she could still be a mugger, or having a friend somewhere, but my mom raised me too well to not help a lady. So I step towards her and when I get close enough she points up to something hanging over our heads.

It was a beautiful piece of mistletoe hanging there, and before I could think of the consequences of that, her arms are around me and her lips on mine. I have kissed my share of women, but this woman's kiss left everyone far behind. Her tongue is almost in my throat before I get a grip and push my own in her mouth. Her taste is exquisite, her teeth perfect, and I start wondering how I could get so lucky.

It doesn't take long however before I realize I couldn't pull out. I feel my body go weak in her grip, and then it's almost like I can hear her voice in my head. "I'm sorry", I hear, "it's only for a year." And then it feels like a vacuum cleaner sucks my brain out, or maybe just my mind.

It's over before I can even panic. I can finally pull out of the kiss, and then I look into a familiar face. My own.

My face on my body and it pulls away and then my voice says, "Thanks babe!"

And then my body leaves me alone, leaving me shaking, still under the mistletoe. No, when I look up, the mistletoe is gone, just like last year, when this happened to me.

Wait. What's going on? As much as I know that man that just walked away was me, I also know I have been a woman all my life, with my personality changing often around Christmas when I kiss a man under the mistletoe. But I never change who I am, and looking back at the storefront I see my name on the glass. Lenora's Lingerie.

I feel a sense of pride, for the shop I worked so hard for, and I go back inside, to close up. I find any piece of garment that's not in the right place and put it back where it belongs, so tomorrow I can open the shop, without losing time cleaning up first. I think of the man whose name I don't even know, but he sure was a good kisser. Maybe he'll be back one day for more, or to buy some lingerie for his wife.

I climb the stairs in the back and go up to my apartment over the shop. I kick of my heels but decide to keep on my leather pencil skirt a little longer. I got so many compliments today from my customers, I will call my friend Desiree later, to see what else she has for me in leather. It's one thing to look good, but when it feels good as well, then why not indulge?

A few months later everything changed. My shop has been more successful than ever. My customers like my new look, with lots of sexy leather, and I have my own corner now with leather and latex clothing, compliments of Desiree.

Then the letter came. First I thought it was a joke, but then I talked with my neighbor shopkeepers, and they all got the same letter. Our building is going to be torn down and a mall will be built in its place. People feel safer apparently while shopping inside, rather than walking by the storefronts in the cold.

I will get my own shop inside the mall, but I'll be out of business for more than a year, while the new mall is being built. They will reimburse me for the income I will miss, by giving me a good price for my part of the current building. But I will lose my apartment.

Not accepting their offer would mean they would take me to court, and probably win, given the added benefits for the community, with a brand-new mall. Plus I would not get a shop in the new mall. And I would still have to find a new apartment. It was really a no-brainer.

I moved in with Desiree, something we considered years ago. But at the time I was a bit concerned with her fetishes. But guess what, I now shared those fetishes with her. And sharing her bed was a bliss, for both of us. I guess that the new mall will change our lives in more than ones way.

For now, I'll work in Desiree's shop. We can sell some of my own merchandise still. And when my shop opens in the mall, she will move in as well, and we'll be selling "Leather, Latex & Lingerie".

A little thought still nags in the back of my brain. I always liked my personality changes, around Christmas, and I know it's caused by the magic mistletoe and kissing strangers. With my old store gone I doubt the mistletoe will be back. So I'll be who I am right now, and maybe it's for the good, as Desiree and I are planning to have a family now.
