This story is all fiction and unlike most of my stories does not contain any erotic material. It does not have the Mature flag up. Some people may still be offended though, as it is the story of a transgender woman in a lesbian relationship. This is the continuation of two very mature chapters, that ended happy like a fairytale. Unfortunately we don't live in fairyland and the LGBT+ community is often the victim of ridicule and bullying. I'm still trying for a decent ending though in this multi-chapter follow-up as people can change once you take their fear for the unknown away...
When Jade woke up she was groggy and she felt very uncomfortable. She had had the weirdest dream. She had stood there naked, her manhood fully exposed, and she saw the shock on the faces of Dee, Sheila and Bonita. The shock had turned into disgust and then they turned around and left her. When she looked at her lucky tattoo the leaf of the clover with the "J" on it scorched and burned away. "No, please!" she had screamed but no sound came from her mouth. She had started crying and then she woke up.
Her mind was still halfway in the horror of her dream. She suddenly remembered, her manhood was to be removed and replaced by a vagina, she would become a real woman. Had it happened already or was she still in the waiting room? She couldn't do this without Dee.
"Dee", she tried to say.
"I'm here honey", she heard Dee's voice and it was sweet, not like the voice in her dream. She felt a little squeeze in her hand and finally managed to open her eyes. She saw Dee's beautiful face framed by sunlight and love in her eyes.
"Dee", she said again, this time a bit clearer.
"Hush," Dee answered, "relax, no need to speak. The operation was a success but you'll be groggy for a while."
The operation was a success, Jade thought, and she smiled. Then it went all black again.
When she woke up again she felt much better. No bad dream like before. She slowly opened her eyes and there was Bonita sitting next to her, a magazine in her hands.
"Bonita", Jade said. It came out clearer but still sounded like a whisper. However Bonita could not have reacted more severe had she shouted through a bullhorn. She shrieked while she jumped up, the magazine flying through the air. But she recovered quickly, she grabbed Jade's hand and said, "Oh Jade, you scared me!"
Jade couldn't help but laughing. "Sorry", she whispered.
Bonita laughed now as well and when she saw the unspoken question in Jade's eyes, she answered "Dee will be back soon. She has been at your bed for hours, I had to kick her out to stretch her legs and go to the bathroom."
Jade's voice came slightly back. "What happened?"
Bonita replied, "The surgery went well. You're our girl now."
Jade put her hand on her heart and suddenly realized she could feel it on her chest. "What happened to my breast?"
Bonita understood. "The doctor removed the falsies. It wasn't easy apparently because of the glue that was used. Your own breasts are beautiful, small but still growing."
Jade felt a relief. The breasts had affected her more than the artificial vagina, which really had been invisible. But the breasts were visible and made people identify her as a woman. "Damn, have to buy new bra's again." Bonita laughed. "Don't worry honey, I'll buy you a few."
At that moment Dee came in with Sheila who was carrying a large bouquet of flowers. Jade's eyes lighted up and she looked at her tattoo, which had all four leaves again. Dee cried out, "You're back!" Jade nodded.
The women all started chattering and Jade just listened, pleasure on her face. Until Dee said, "I have to call your mom. I promised I would if you came out." Apparently her mom had been close by as she came in with Jade's sister less than five minutes later. The other women left the room but Jade could feel the tension.
"Mom," Jade said, "thanks for coming. Where's dad?" Both her mom and sister had given her a quick hug, but her mom pulled away, saying "Oh JD, there's no point going around it. Your father does not approve what you have done. Nor does your brother." Jade felt a stab in her chest, "What do you mean with what I have done? Chosen to become a woman?"
Her mom nodded. Jade was shocked. In all her life she had grown up with her parent's support, no matter how crazy her decisions sometimes had been. They would discuss all the pro's and con's with her, but in the end support her choice. But not now? After the most important decision of her life?
She tried, "It was not much of a choice, you know. More a medical necessity." Her mom shook her head, "Apparently you chose to be a woman long before that. All because of that girl. I never liked her." And she nodded towards the door through which Dee had left just moments before. Jade tried to defend Dee. "It wasn't her fault, it was mine. I was obnoxious and rude to her and very inconsiderate. She helped me to see my ways so I could become a better man."
Her sister chimed in now, "Yes, look what a better man you are right now."
The remark stung. JD had become a better man inside. But his Jade personality had been stronger, he simply was happier as Jade. But she answered, "I liked it better as a girl, you of all people should understand that!" Her sister paled, she said, "But it's not normal. People are laughing behind your back, behind our backs. They even blame me for dressing you up that time."
Jade had to smile about that, her sister had made him her twin for Halloween and he had looked ridiculous. But she understood the point now.
"Look at you two," their mom said, "quarreling like sisters already."
"You know what else I like to do?" Jade said, "Shopping. Looking for new clothes, trying on everything. New shoes..."
Her sister suddenly looked stunned, Jade knew her weakness. "You mean like going to the mall? Trying on dresses? Spend hours there?"
Jade nodded, "Dee taught me, and I found that I liked it. And I'm a skirt girl. Maybe we can go together some day?"
It was the king of knockouts, or better the queen. Sabi, her sister, looked at her in shock. Then a smile started forming on her face. "Oh, I've always wanted to have a sister and now my dreams have come true!"
The two young women both had tears in their eyes when they hugged. Jade winced slightly as her breasts were very tender. Sabi looked at her, saying "I thought you had falsies."
Jade nodded, "I did, but they took them off during the surgery as my own were growing under it. I will need new bra's as I'm a bit smaller now."
Her sister was suddenly under her own shirt and finally pulled her bra out of her sleeve and gave it to Jade, saying "You look about my size now, try this." It took a bit before Jade had the bra comfortably wrapped around her tender breasts but she was grateful for the support and told Sabi, "I'll take you to Victoria's Secret and buy you a new bra and whatever else you want." She knew that her sister bought all her underwear at the Walmart. And Sabi started laughing, "I can't believe it, my sister shops at Victoria's Secret and probably knows more about lingerie than I do! And how come you look so glamorous right after a surgery? When did you learn to do makeup?"
Jade smiled, "I'm still struggling with it. Didn't have a lifetime of experience like you. But the salon put some on me professionally, long lasting. I can take you there as well."
Their mom, Tina, had looked at both her children and had tears in her eyes by now as well. This bond they were forming seemed stronger already than anything there had been between Sabine and her brothers. She knew her own concerns with JD's transition were based on her personal desire to have grandchildren and JD had been the likely candidate to give them to her, more than her other two kids. But that was out of the question by now.
When she had learned that JD had been challenged by Dee to dress as a girl, she had thought he would look like one of those drag queens you see on TV shows. And the surgery was a medical necessity after he has been tricked to wear that.. that.. whatever that thing was. It wasn't really his choice and he would be miserable for the rest of his life. And that was upsetting to her. But seeing Jade so comfortable in her skin, bonding with her sister, you could not tell even that she hadn't been a woman all her life. It warmed her heart. But she needed to know why.
"Honey," she said and smiled when both girls looked at her, "I'm sorry, but I need to know. As a boy you never had any tendencies for wanting to be a girl. Or being gay for that matter. What changed? You look so perfectly natural as a girl now. You had so many things going for you as JD, why did you give that up? Well before this surgery you gave it up already, why? Was Dee forcing you? Did she have something on you?"
"No mom!" Jade exclaimed, "nothing like that. You're right, before this I never thought about being a girl. As a matter of fact, I used to think that girls, or women really, were there for my own convenience. Don't get me wrong, I loved Dee, but I saw her as an extension to my own life. What I did mattered and she was there to support that. Everything was about me, even in bed. Not your fault, you didn't raise me wrong, but somehow after I left home I became egocentric. And I didn't even realize it, what a male chauvinist pig I had become. But Dee showed me. Yes, it started out in a weird way, with a challenge that I could not go without sex for a month. After only one week already I was frustrated and mad so I got drunk and I puked on her and afterwards I felt sorry and I realized I needed to change my ways. When I woke up I found she had changed me into a girl and because I felt guilty I decided to go with it. It helped that she made me look good and people didn't see me as a guy in drag.
But I found I liked it. I liked being pretty. I found it easy to walk in heels. But more importantly, I found Dee mattered to me. I started putting her first and found that in doing so I found more happiness myself, much more than I ever experienced as a guy, egocentric or not. I changed mom. We found friends and it was nothing like guy friends. I felt so comfortable and I fit in and I enjoyed it. Things got only better between Dee and myself. Both she and I started realizing that we liked me as a girl, as a woman, better than we ever did me as a man. It was a revelation to her as well when she found that being with a woman was so much more satisfying than being with a man.
I dreaded the day that the challenge was over. And when we learned that I wasn't right in my crotch and had to see a specialist we happily added three more weeks. They were perhaps the best of my life with Sheila and Bonita. I didn't even cry when I learned that my manhood was lost. It was like a confirmation that I was really meant to be a woman. And oh, you don't even know that yet, but just before the surgery Dee asked me to marry her. And I said yes!"
By now Tina's tears were rolling down her face. She had seen JD's diminishing respect for women and worried about it. But when he started dating Dee it seemed getting better, or so she thought. But Dee had taken action and changed his ways. The poor girl. Tina had no right thinking bad of her. So she had lost her son, but she'd gained a daughter with such a better personality. And she was getting married!
"Oh honey," Tina said and hugged her new daughter carefully, "you're getting married, I'm so happy for you." And when she finally let go of Jade she knew she had to see Dee. So when a nurse came in with some food it was a good moment to leave her for a bit. She nudged Sabine and told Jade they'd be back later.
They found Dee by herself in a waiting area and Tina told Sabine to go to the restaurant and grab a bite. When Sabi was gone she walked to Dee, took her face gently in both her hands and kissed her on the forehead. "Thanks my dear," she said, "I didn't understand at first why my son wanted to become a woman. But whatever you did, you turned her into a beautiful person, inside and out. I'm grateful. And apparently I gained another beautiful daughter so congratulations on your marriage. There's so much to arrange!"
Dee smiled, she hadn't expected this blessing from Jade's mom, but was happy with it. "Oh thank you so much Mrs. Roberts."
Tina laughed. "Oh, please. Don't call me that, you're family now. Call me Tina please, or Mom even."
From all reactions possible, she didn't expect Dee to collapse in a chair and bury her face in her hands, sobbing softly. She sat on the chair next to her and put her arms around Dee's shoulder. "Oh honey, I'm sorry. What did I say to upset you so?"
But Dee shook her head and when she finally looked up she said, "I'm sorry, it wasn't your fault. I lost my own mom a few years ago in a car accident and I've missed her so much. I didn't think I would ever have a mother again, but here you are. I need one so badly with everything that's going on..."
Tina's heart broke, this poor girl had gone through such a terrible loss. "Don't worry dear. I'm here to help you. What else is going on apart from marrying Jade?"
"I'm pregnant!" Dee burst out, "from JD. I don't know what to do!"
It suddenly became clear to Tina. Getting pregnant could be a scary thing. And this poor thing had nobody to help her, like a mother would. And she could not have reached out to JD or Jade with all the stuff going on with her. And likewise, their new friends had been in her life too short to open up with such news. So Tina hugged her new daughter in law and said, "Don't worry honey. I'll help you. I've had a few kids myself so I know what to do.
Did you tell Jade?" And when Dee shook her head, she asked "Did you tell your friends?" Another shake. "Did you see a doctor at least?" When Dee shook her head again Tina knew how hard it had been for Dee, trying to deal with this by herself. So she took control.
"OK, don't worry, I know a wonderful doctor and I'll take you to her later today. I'm sure she can squeeze us in. How far are you along?" Tina was calculating in her head when this whole thing with JD started and guessed at least two months.
"More than two months." Dee confirmed. Tina nodded. "Don't tell Jade yet until we've seen the doctor. I'm going to make a few calls and I'll find you here later, okay. Honey," she looked at Dee's scared face, "you're going to be okay. Motherhood is the most lovely thing in the world. You'll be a good mother, you both will."
Finally Dee smiled again and her hug was one in great need and love for the woman who was filling the void she'd carried for years in her heart.
It took only one text and one call with Tina's best friend since highschool. Dee was lined up for right after lunch. But first she had to get Sabine home. She found her in the restaurant with Dee's friends. She looked at her daughter from a distance and noticed how comfortable she was with the two women. They were all laughing and joking like they knew each other for years. Tina had to smile about herself, after all these years of parenthood she'd still learned something new. She had raised her kids with open minds, supporting their decisions even if they weren't always the smartest. But secretly she'd always hoped they would be straight and normal. But what is normal? JD dating a girl, but not treating her with respect? Or Jade dating a girl and their love and happiness is through the roof?
Tina knew she had been wrong. The only thing a parent should wish for is their kids to be happy, whatever form that takes.
She finally walked to the table and Sabi jumped up and said, "Mom, meet Sheila and Bonita. They're Jade and Dee's friends."
Tina gave them both a hug and told them "So nice to meet you two. I'm Tina, I understand you are a big part of why my new daughter is so happy."
"They're getting married the same day as Jade and Dee." Sabi chimed in, "and I'm going to be the bridesmaid for all of them!"
"Really?" Tina questioned, looking at both women and when they nodded she continued "That's so sweet. I'm so happy for you."
"Mom, look at their tattoo." Sabi kept going excitedly, "They have Jade an Dee's initials and their own." She held Bonita's wrist up to show the clover. "And Jade has one too!"
"As has Dee." Bonita added. "We found the four of us fit very well together. We didn't know about Jade's situation until last night, before the operation. She was such a sweet girl already. And getting to know Sabine just now tells me it must be thanks to a very good mom."
Tina smiled, pleased with the praise. "Thank you so much, I tried my best. Not sure if I was preparing my son for womanhood but she's become a beautiful daughter. Plus I gained another one. And I would be honored if you two would call me Mom as well and be part of the family."
"As a matter of fact," Sheila laughed, "we're planning to do just that, Mom. The four of us will live together after the wedding."
That was news, but Tina found it rather comforting. It would make things easier when the baby would come but she couldn't say that yet.
A good hour later Tina and Dee were in Tyra's office. Tyra was looking at the first results of a bloodtest and confirmed that Dee was pregnant. "JD must be excited," she said, "he'll make a good dad, like his father." Dee said nothing so Tina replied, "JD goes by Jade now, but I'm sure she'll make a good mom. She doesn't know it yet, as she's recovering on the upper floor from surgery."
"Interesting," Tyra said diplomatically, "if I remember well we thought for a long time he was a girl when you were pregnant. I was not very experienced at the time but I guess I was right in the end then."
They both laughed, remembering the surprise so many years ago.
After another minute or so Tyra suggested they'd do an ultrasound as the test numbers were slightly high compared to normal pregnancies. And ten minutes later it was confirmed, Dee was carrying twins, and she was ten weeks along already. "You're going to be a granny Tina, isn't that what you always wanted?" Tyra joked. But Tina was more concerned with Dee who had gone very pale. "It's okay honey. You're not alone anymore. Jade will help as will I and I have the feeling Sheila and Bonita will enjoy a set of babies too." She whispered "Later" at Tyra's questioning look and then to Dee, "Come, let's go tell Jade." It took a bit before they could leave with all the instructions they received but half an hour later they were back in Jade's room.
Sheila and Bonita were keeping Jade company and they had a lot of fun when Dee announced "There's something I have to tell the three of you." They all looked at her serious face and were quiet instantly. "I'm pregnant, " Dee blurted out, "ten weeks. From before Jade became a girl."
Three faces with a serious look on them turned to stunned, to disbelief and then to a smile. "You're serious?" Jade exclaimed, "that's awesome!" And she laughed brightly. Sheila and Bonita were laughing too and started to hug Dee and then Jade. "We're going to have a baby in the house" Sheila sang, "this is so wonderful."
"Two." Dee replied.
"Two?" Bonita asked.
Dee nodded, "I'm carrying twins. The doctor just confirmed it."
The disbelief was back on the faces, then they all started cheering.
Dee looked at Tina who gave her a "told you so" wink. All pressure fell from her shoulders. Finally a smile appeared on her face as well.
