"W-Wow," Sierra chuckled nervously, scootching slightly away from the sulky Zoe, "that really sucks."

"I know!" Zoe pouted. "I'd be great at taking care of a kitten! I'd treat it so well, and give it lots of treats and snuggles!"

"B-But Mommy said no, huh?" Sierra asked. "I'm sorry, Zoe. I have no idea why she'd do that!"

"Me, neither!" Zoe rolled her eyes. "Look at me! I'm plenty responsible!"

That was a tough thing to agree to when she was sitting there in a wet diaper, surrounded by toys, very much fitting the role of the adult baby she was. It was her birthday, though, so Sierra nodded. "You definitely are," she said. "But what are you going to do? If Mommy says no, then..." She paused, spotting a glint in the other girl's eye that made her nervous. "Wh-What?"

"You understand!" Zoe exclaimed, grabbing Sierra by the hand. "Come on!"

"Where are we..? Hey!" Sierra yelped as she was yanked to her feet and pulled out of Zoe's nursery. "What are we doing?"

"We're gonna go talk to Mommy," Zoe told her proudly. "Both of us."

Sierra gulped, squirming in the bigger girl's grip. "R-Really?" she asked, trying to sound as normal as possible. "Wh-What for? It sounded like she made up her mind, and you know how she gets, so it's probably better if..."

"Sierra agrees with me!" Zoe declared, finally letting Sierra loose when they reached the living room. "She thinks I'm totally ready to look after a kitty, and that you should buy me one right now for my birthday! Maybe two, since you made me wait!"

"W-Wait," Sierra interjected weakly, holding up a finger. "I-I'm not..."

"Oh, she does, does she?" Zoe's Mommy raised an eyebrow. "That's funny, since she told me she didn't think it would be a good idea last week."

Sierra blushed, staring down at her feet as her friend's gaze turned towards her. How dare the woman sell her out like that?! "Th-That's not exactly what I said," she protested quietly. "I-I said..."

Zoe let out a frustrated groan, stomping her foot. "Fine! Why don't the two of you play together, then?!"

Sierra and the girl's Mommy watched her storm off, Sierra standing awkwardly by for a moment, not sure what to do. She always felt nervous around the woman, since she'd 'looked after' her for so long, and changed so many of her diapers. She always expected a check, still, anytime she came over. "I-I should probably talk to her, huh?"

"Yes," the woman agreed. "You should. This is what you get for fibbing, Sierra. Even if you think it's for the best, it's almost always a bad idea."

"S-Sorry, ma'am," Sierra blushed, feeling like she was right back under the woman's care. Or, rather, under Zoe's care, while the girl was under Mommy's, since she'd been Zoe's dolly.

"You won't do it again?" Sierra shook her head sheepishly. "Very good. Then, tell me, are your undies dry and clean?"

Sierra squeaked, wondering if the woman had somehow read her earlier thoughts. "Y-Yes," she blushed, though her hands were tugging nervously at the hem of her shirt. She didn't think she was lying, but she wasn't completely confident, didn't know what the woman would find if she decided Sierra needed an inspection, especially after that last question had taken her by surprise.

"Hmm," the woman smirked. "Go on, go apologize to Zoe."

"Y-Yes, ma'am," Sierra nodded, happily to scurry away, at least until she reached the door to Zoe's nursery.

She paused outside, steeling herself, before stepping inside. Zoe looked up, pouted, and turned away from the door, yelling, "Go away!"

"I'm really sorry, Zoe," Sierra told her. "I-It's not that I don't think you're responsible, I just..."

"I took care of you!" Zoe turned back, glaring. "I fed you, and changed you, and you didn't even get diaper rash! Except a couple times, I guess, but you used your diapers so often!"

"It wasn't that much!" Sierra blushed. "But a kitten is different. Maybe next year, or for Christmas."

"Yeah, right," Zoe sulked. "Neither of you want me to have one, ever!"

"Zoe," Sierra shook her head, moving closer for a hug, only to pause as she spotted something peeking out from Zoe's dress-up chest. She walked over, picking it up, placing it on her head. "Look!" she pointed up at the headband, and the pair of cat ears attached to it, now looking like they were poking up out of her blonde hair. "I can be your kitten, Zoe!"

Zoe rolled her eyes. "You're not a cat."

Sierra dropped to all four, blushing as she crawled over to her friend, remembering all the times she'd been forced to do that in this room. It wasn't nearly as bad now, without a diaper on, and, even if it had been, it was to try to cheer Zoe up, on her birthday, so it was okay. "I'm trying my best, though," she said, rubbing her head against Zoe's leg. "Meow?"

Zoe glared down at her, clearly trying her best to stay angry, but unable to completely stifle a giggle. "If you were really trying your best, you'd use your wand," she pointed out.

"Oh, no," Sierra shook her head. "I'm not doing that. I didn't even bring it this year! That never works out well, and I'm definitely not about to turn myself into a cat for you."

"You're no fun," Zoe stuck out her tongue. "If you were really a cat, you'd have a tail." She stood up, toddling back over to the chest, Sierra hurrying to crawl after her, turning around and allowing the girl to pin a tail to the back of her shorts, giving her backside a wiggle to let it wag a bit. "Oh!" Zoe's eyes lit up. "You know what I still have?"

Sierra had a feeling she wasn't going to like the answer, so she followed at a cautious distance when Zoe rushed to her closet, but, to her surprise, the girl just pulled out a t-shirt. "Look!" she opened it up, showing off the front. "It's perfect!"

Sierra smiled, feeling silly for getting so worked up, and happy that this appeared to be working. "It is!" she agreed, wiggling out of her own shirt, allowing Zoe to dress her, like she had in the past, tugging the new shirt over her head, displaying the drawing of a cat's ears, whiskers, and heart-shaped nose across her chest.

"I know what kitties like to do!" Zoe declared, going to her vanity and grabbing some hair ribbons, dangling them over Sierra's head. Like the good little kitty she was doing her best to be for her friend, Sierra batted at them, grabbing them, weakly trying to wrestle them away from Zoe, who was soon smiling and giggling, despite her best efforts to stay mad.

"It's still not right," she said after a few minutes, however, when Sierra snatched the ribbon out of the air again. "This is too easy for you!"

"Sorry," Sierra apologized. "I can..."

"No, I know!" Zoe grinned, her expression one Sierra had seen many times before, and that always worried her. This was the point where it was usually best to put a stop to things. It was Zoe's birthday, though, and Sierra was making so much progress getting her to forget her transgression...

So, when Zoe pulled out the booties and mittens, while she did hesitate, Sierra finally agreed to them. She didn't question why Zoe had them, just like she'd learned not to question why she had most anything. They weren't too uncomfortable, really, and were quite soft and squishy, and definitely cute. They were shaped like cat's paws, complete with little cloth claws on the front.

They were much bigger than her actual hands and feet, with a lot more padding, besides not having the right number of fingers or toes, some of them having to crowd together into a single digit in the garments. Her hands were useless in them, unable to close enough to close around anything, and too slick to try to clamp both of them around something.

It, obviously, made it much harder for her to get the ribbon. She batted at it, and hit it, but it slipped out of her claws easily, even when she managed to clap her paws together around it. Zoe appeared to be cheering up, however, so Sierra accepted her momentary helplessness, glad that this time, at least, she could undo it by just slipping the mittens off.

It wasn't too long, though, before Sierra's bladder began to feel full. She knew better than to make a big deal out of it, or mention it at all until she couldn't help it, but Zoe didn't seem to want to stop playing, not growing bored nearly as fast as Sierra had anticipated. Did she know? She'd seen Sierra use her diaper plenty of times, so she'd probably noticed the signs. Was she holding out on purpose?

"Okay, Zoe," Sierra finally had to say, "this is fun, but I need a break."

"Aww, what's wrong?" Zoe asked. "Does kitty need a nap?"

"No!" Sierra shook her head, afraid Zoe would lock her in the crib, which would guarantee an accident, since she couldn't climb out on her own. "I-I need..." She tried to point at her crotch, but, with the mittens, it was hard to be exact. "I hafta go to the bathroom," she blushed, rushing it all out at once.

"We don't have a litter box," Zoe told her. "Besides, kittens are baby cats, aren't they? And babies wear diapers."

"No, Zoe," Sierra told her sternly, determined this was one year where she wasn't going to wind up in diapers on the girl's birthday. That didn't stop Zoe, however, who happily skipped over to the changing table, grabbing up a diaper. "No!" Sierra whined, struggling to her feet to make a dash for the bathroom.

She didn't make it a single step. The feet of the booties were just as slippery at the mittens' paws, and just as padded, making it impossible for her to keep her balance. She tumbled to the floor, landing hard on her backside. "Ow!" she yelped, squirming away, seeing how close Zoe was already. She fumbled with the mittens, trying to pull one off so she could undo her booties, but, just like everything else she'd tried while wearing them, it was impossible.

"Zoe, stop!" Sierra whined as the girl knelt down next to her, pushing her onto her back. She batted at her ineffectually with her paws, while Zoe expertly unzipped her shorts, sliding them down.

"Someone's soggy!" Zoe chanted, giggling. "I'm gonna tell Mommy you were lying!"

"You were listening?!" Sierra blushed. "I-I wasn't wet then, anyway, it happened when I fell, so it wasn't my fault, and... Hey!" She wiggled in place, trying to break Zoe's grip on her undies, to no avail, as they were pulled down, the bulky diaper slid under her backside instead. "Zoe, I don't wanna wear a diaper!" she pouted, as the girl taped it up around her, sealing her into her poofy prison.

Sierra pawed uselessly at the tightly-fastened tapes with her mittens, but before she could even try to loosen them, which was impossible anyway, Zoe lifted one legs over her, turning around, planting her own wet diaper on Sierra's tummy, and, more importantly, her bladder.

"Zoe, get off!" Sierra protested, smacking at her. She didn't want to hurt her, but she needed her to get off, or something bad was going to happen. Zoe didn't appear to even notice, the padding of the mittens probably taking out all actual impact from Sierra's swings. Zoe wasn't hurting her, either, but the pressure on her already full bladder was getting to be too much to bear, and it had only been a second or two! "Zoe!"

"Oh, hush up!" Zoe rolled her eyes, grabbing something and turning around, not moving from her spot on the smaller girl. Sierra's eyes widened as a pacifier, with a little kitty nose and whiskers on the shield, was pushed into her mouth, making her follow the other girl's orders, whether she liked it or not, Zoe pulling the strap on the paci around to the back of Sierra's head and fastening it in place. "Kitties can't use words," she said, giggling at Sierra's muffled shouts.

She turned around again, free to do as she liked, plucking the booties off Sierra's feet easily, despite the trouble Sierra herself had had with them. Sierra groaned, giving Zoe's diapered bottom a push in one final, desperate attempt before, at last, her body gave in, and she blushed as she began to pee in her diaper, warm urine soaking into the padding around her while Zoe slid her shorts and panties off her legs, then put the booties back on.

"See?" Zoe smirked, standing up, turning around, instantly seeing what Sierra had done. "It's a good thing I got that diaper on you, huh?"

Sierra mumbled a few choice words behind her paci-gag while Zoe walked away again. "There's just one more thing you need to be the perfect kitten," she declared when she returned, kneeling down and locking a collar around Sierra's neck.

Sierra gasped, reaching up with one paw, hitting the bell attached to it, listening to its gentle tinkle. She grumbled and shook her head, the bell sounding again, then yelped wordlessly as Zoe gave the leash attached to it a tug, forcing her to her feet. Or, rather, onto her hands and knees, which was as close as Sierra was going to get right now. When she was up, Zoe reattached the tail, then picked up Sierra's damp panties, proudly leading Sierra out of the nursery and back into the living room.

"Oh, my," Zoe's Mommy chuckled at the sight, looking up from her phone. "I guess you got a kitten after all, didn't you, sweetie?"

"Uh-huh!" Zoe beamed. "And look, Mommy! Her panties were wet, so she lied to you! And she went again already! She's not a big girl at all, is she?"

Sierra blushed, looking up bashfully at the woman, hoping she'd take mercy on her.

"Not at all," the woman agreed.

"And she lied!" Zoe repeated. "Don't you think she needs a spanking for that? She's a naughty kitty!"

"Well, if that's what you want," the woman smiled. "It is your birthday, after all."

Sierra groaned behind her paci, but it was too late to escape her punishment now. She was definitely going home in a diaper after this, and with a sore bottom. She only hoped that happened tonight, and that Zoe's Mommy didn't decide that Zoe had proven she was, indeed, responsible enough to look after a kitten, even a human one, on her own.
