's.
"Are you sure?" Jessie frowned. "I've never heard of it."
"Exactly!" Sierra nodded. "That's what's so suspicious! There's Ilvermorny, of course, but doesn't it seems strange that it's basically the only magical school here you've ever heard of?"
"I-I suppose?" Sometimes it was hard to remember Jessie was from a different dimension, where, perhaps, that wasn't true.
"It is," she assured him. "Trust me, I thought about this a lot, back when..." She trailed off, not wanting to recount all her misadventures, back when her wand had gotten cursed, and she'd had to regress herself in order to use it. She'd been looking for an alternate form of magic to use then, and, although she hadn't found anything she could really use then, she'd come up with some theories she hadn't gotten around to trying out.
Now, she needed them again. She had to find a way to stop Robin from marrying her father, and her regular magic wasn't doing the trick. It didn't help that Samara had hit her with so many curses that she'd had to try and undo on the rare occasion she was able to get a hold of her wand. She'd been able to undo the spell on the braces, but not get rid of the braces themselves. She'd completely negated the curse on her shoes, and while she wouldn't wear them out in public, the Velcro on them made them convenient to put on and off around the house. She'd fixed the glasses, too, but, unfortunately, Robin was convinced she needed them, so she still had to wear them, or get punished. That had all been fun to explain to Jessie, when he'd shown up, and been rather shocked at her new look.
"If you think it's for the best," he shrugged. "You know this dimension better than me. I just thought you could show me a few things yourself."
He had his own way of casting spells, and he might be able to help her, but this seemed like the perfect opportunity. If she was wrong, or anything went badly, she'd have backup. Hopefully, they'd both learn some new magic, and it would all work out. She could see he was nervous, and, to be honest, she was, too. "I'll tell you what," she said. "I'll scout ahead and see what it's like. Then I can come back and get you, or tell you not to bother. And if I'm not back in, like, an hour, you can come rescue me."
She didn't give him a chance to say yes or no, knowing she didn't have time. Wren was 'babysitting' her, not that Sierra needed it, and while she hadn't seemed at all concerned about a strange boy coming over to visit, or them playing in her room together, she might poke her head in at some point. The faster she could find out if this place was going to be able to help her, the better. If she didn't get back before her dad got home, and he found out she'd stolen her wand back again, she'd really be in trouble.
It had taken a lot of work, using skills from classes she'd barely paid attention to in school, and hardly understood, to trace all the leylines, and find the most likely place for another magical school. It had paid off, though, and more of those classes must have rubbed off than she'd thought, because in the exact place she'd found, there was, indeed, a school. It was posing as a regular, Muggle school, which made it easier to find, but the more she looked into it online, the stranger it seemed. Not to mention how huge a coincidence it would have been for a non-magical school to just happen to exist on that very spot.
Or close to it, anyway. Maybe she'd fudged the numbers a little, when she'd seen the school on the map. It was awfully close to what she'd calculated, and she wasn't confident enough to say she'd been exactly right the first time. It was still strange enough to see a school that close!
She hadn't been able to find too much information about the school, which also supported her hypothesis. She'd managed to scrounge up a couple pictures online, however, and that's what she used to Apparate there, choosing what looked like a quiet corner of the campus, where, hopefully, there wouldn't be too many, if any, people around to see.
It turned out she was right, and, after she got over the nausea of Apparating, she found herself alone, in one corner of a beautiful, well-kept yard, surrounded by a huge fence. It was a little odd, perhaps, that a magic school would have so mundane a method of protecting itself, but that was almost definitely not the only defense. She couldn't identify it, but there was a heavy feeling in the air, like a huge blanket weighing down on her as she stood there.
Besides not wanting to be spotted coming in, Sierra had wanted time to be able to observe some students, to see if there was a dress code, or uniform, or anything, so she could make a copy of it for herself. It was a good thing, too, since it didn't take long to see there was, indeed, a uniform. She saw a few girls, bustling about, or chatting with each other on a bench, all wearing green plaid skirts, long sleeve white shirts, a sweater vest over that, a bow tie that matched the skirt, and white knee socks, folded over at the top to reveal that same plaid. All in all, it was actually kind of cute. She didn't mind the idea of wearing it, so she ducked behind a shed to cast a spell to replicate it.
Nothing happened. Nothing at all. The spell didn't fizzle out, or misfire, it just didn't work at all. "What the...?" Sierra frowned, giving her wand a shake, then trying again. When it failed again, she started running through the other spells she could do quietly from her hiding spot, and none of them did anything, either. "Uh-oh..." She gulped, having a bad feeling she knew what that heavy feeling was now.
"Hey, you were right," a strange voice said. "There is someone here."
Sierra spun, hiding her wand behind her back, seeing a trio of much bigger girls approaching. She gulped, feeling nervous already, even though they hadn't done anything threatening. Just the fact that they were there, all dressed the same, and she had no magic to defend herself, was enough.
"What are you doing here, squirt?" one demanded. "Were you going to the playground?"
"N-No," Sierra shook her head.
"Then what?" the girl continued. "There's nothing else this way."
Another girl raised her hand, stepping forward. "Hey," she said. "Why aren't you in uniform? You must be new, or you'd know you can get in real trouble if you get caught."
"I-I just..." Sierra stammered, trying to think of a good excuse.
"Are you in the far dorm?" the girl asked, and Sierra nodded, silently going along with it. "I thought so, ours has been full for a while. I doubt you have time to go all the way to your room and change, but I have some spares in mine."
"Ashley!" one of her friends rolled her eyes. "I thought we were gonna..."
"We can do it later," Ashley told her. "I'm helping this kid out. Come on."
She beckoned, and Sierra slowly started to following, eyeing the other two girls, who seemed less happy she was distracting their friend. She didn't know what else to do, though. If the uniforms really were that important, she'd need one, and she wasn't sure where else to get one. Of course, Ashley was enough bigger than her she didn't think the girl's clothes would fit her, and she couldn't shrink them with her wand, but it would be a start.
She definitely stood out, in her t-shirt and plain, yellow skirt, once they got into the halls of the school, and she saw a bunch of other students, all in the uniform. She didn't spot a single boy on the way to Ashley's room, which didn't bode well for Jessie. With any luck, she'd figure out how to get around whatever kind of anti-magic ward they had on this place before he followed her, or he'd stick out even more than she had.
"Well, obviously my clothes are going to be too big for you," Ashley said, thankfully having figured that out herself, once they go to her bedroom. "Luckily, my little sister left some stuff over here, and you can borrow it. Here, start with these." She opened her dresser and tossed Sierra a pair of socks.
"Thanks," Sierra said, sitting down on the girl's bed, glad for her Velcro shoes now, to take off her old socks and pull on the new ones. Ashley watched for a moment, a slight smirk flashing across her face, then went to her closet, handing Sierra some more stuff.
"This is really nice of you. I-I can't believe I forgot to change into my uniform before I left," Sierra told her, pulling on the white, button-up shirt over her t-shirt and starting to button it up.
"It happens," Ashley shrugged, still digging in her closet. Sierra took the opportunity to be grateful for the long socks, and tuck her wand into them. "Here we go!"
As Sierra pulled the sweater vest over her head, Ashley turned, skirt in hand. It was hard to judge, while a bigger girl was holding it, but it definitely didn't look the right size. The shirt and vest had fit, though, so maybe it would work. Of course, she couldn't change into it in front of Ashley.
"Go on," Ashley urged. "Take off your skirt, and I'll give you this one."
Sierra squirmed on the bed, suddenly very aware of the Goodnite she was wearing. She'd gotten used to them, and they were way better than diapers, but there was no mistaking what it was. "C-Could you, uh... turn around?" she asked, blushing.
"There's nothing to be ashamed of," Ashley told her. "It's just us girls here. Besides, I bet you have some really cute panties, don't you?"
Sierra got to her feet, stepping a little closer to Ashley, which only emphasized how small she was compared to the other girl. "I-I can change in the closet," she suggested.
Ashley raised her hand as Sierra grabbed for the skirt, holding it out of her reach. "You can take your skirt off here," she said, grinning, "or I can march you right to the Principal's office and tell her I caught you out of dress code. How do you think that's going to go? I know I'd love to start my day watching some silly little nerd get spanked silly."
Sierra gasped, fidgeting in place. Sierra glanced over at her reflection in the mirror on Ashley's door, unable to really refute she looked like a nerd, between her glasses, braces, shoes, and the high ponytails Wren had put her hair into that morning. But that wasn't the real issue. Did they actually spank here?! It didn't seem like Ashley was joking.
"C-Can't I just have a little priv...?" Sierra started to ask, only for Ashley to reach down, yanking Sierra's skirt down before she could react.
"I knew it!" Ashley chuckled. "What a baby! My sister wore those when she was, like, five."
"I-I don't need them!" Sierra insisted, clumsily trying to pull her skirt back up.
"Then why are you wearing them?" Ashley demanded. "Here, go ahead and change and get out, I don't want you having an accident and stinking up my room." She tossed the skirt to Sierra.
"I don't have accidents!" Sierra insisted, stomping her foot, blushing as her shoes lit up, making it seem far less effective.
"Whatever you say," Ashley smirked, clearly unconvinced.
Sierra was still reluctant to take off her own skirt, even though Ashley already knew what was underneath, but she heard a bell ring, out in the hallway. "Come on," Ashley urged. "You're already late. How much more trouble do you want to be in?"
Sierra quickly shed her skirt and pulled the new one on, only to find that, unlike the shirt and vest, which had fit almost perfectly, the skirt was clearly far too small, to the point where her Goodnite was poking out the bottom. "I-I can't wear this!" she blushed.
Unfortunately, Ashley had already snatched up her old skirt. "Oh, my mistake," she grinned. "That's one of my sister's really, really old uniforms... Oh well!" She grabbed Sierra's hand. "Come on, let's go!"
"What?!" Sierra squeaked, tugging at the skirt, trying to will it into becoming long enough. "I-I can't go out there like this!"
"Sure you can," Ashley told her, dragging her across the room. "Let me show you!" Thankfully, the halls were almost entirely empty now, as Sierra was pulled through the building. The classroom they ended up in, however, was not.
"And what do you two have to say for yourselves?!" the teacher demanded, glaring at them as Ashley pushed open the door. "What are you wearing, young lady?!" she turned her attention just to Sierra, who fidgeted as she felt the whole class turn towards her, hearing giggling among the desks.
"I'm so sorry!" Ashley said. "She's new here, and I was helping her out. It's my fault!"
"That's very kind of you to say," the teacher told Ashley. "But every student knows their schedule before they get here, and have a map. There's no reason for them to be late, and certainly not to make anyone else late. Or for them to be so blatantly out of dress code. But we can deal with that later. Sit down, you two."
There were only a few empty desks, and Ashley immediately headed to the one in the last couple rows, leaving Sierra a choice of a couple different desks in the very front of the room. "If you'd been on time," the teacher told her, "you could have introduced yourself. Since you weren't, we can do that tomorrow. For now, we'll see if you kept up with the homework I know was assigned to you before you got here, because we have a pop quiz today."
It was hard to think of two more terrifying words than those in the moment. Being in the front row, Sierra was one of the first to see the test, and, even just glancing over the page, her eyes started to blur. This wasn't magical stuff, it was over some kind of Muggle subject, and, although Robin and her dad threatened it from time to time, she hadn't been to a Muggle school since before she'd started at Ilvermorny.
She had to go up to the teacher's desk for a pencil, which didn't do her any favors in the woman's eyes, clearly, but even once she had it, she was completely lost. There was little surprise, when, after finishing, and being told to work on her reading in the textbook, which, of course, she also didn't have, she was handed back the test with a big, fat F circled in red at the top.
"I think you'd better go visit the Principal and show her that," the teacher 'suggested', shaking her head. "Maybe she can get you to take your education seriously, because I have other things I need to get done today."
Sierra gulped, turning and looking at Ashley frantically, remembering what the girl had said earlier. "I-I'm sorry!" she said. "I-I'll be good, I swear!"
"Go," the teacher ordered, pointing at the door.
Sierra quietly got to her feet, clutching her flunked test in one hand, and shuffled to the door, looking back at the teacher, hoping for mercy, with her hand on the knob. What she got, instead, was a warning. "And don't try sneaking back to your room. I'm going to tell her you're coming, and, if you don't show up, she'll find you, and then you really won't be happy."
Sierra, obviously, had no idea where the Principal's office was, so she thought, perhaps, she could justify a little exploring as she looked for it. Unfortunately, she almost immediately came across the door, clearly marked. She swallowed, pondering if she should pretend she hadn't noticed it, only for the teacher's warning to repeat itself in her mind.
Nervously, she crept up to the door, giving it a light tap. "I'll be with you soon!" a woman's voice called from inside, followed by a loud, unmistakable whap, and a pained yelp. Sierra gasped, backing away, looking around the hall for somewhere to sit and await her fate. There was nowhere, leaving her to stand in the hall, anxiously waiting, too afraid to go far enough away not to hear what was going on on the other side of the wall, despite how much more frightened she was by the sound of it.
She really hoped she was misinterpreting what she was hearing, because if not, she might be in trouble. She could try to explain it wasn't her fault the skirt was out of dress code, but then she'd have to tell the Principal she didn't go here, and that might make things worse. That was only going to be made more humiliating by knowing her Goodnites were on display the whole time she tried to explain herself. And the test! She'd almost forgotten she failed her quiz, too!
The sight of the teary-eyed girl who emerged at last didn't help calm her nerves, either. "Come on in," the Principal told Sierra, closing the door behind her. She was a very tall, stern looking woman, and she wasted no time taking Sierra's quiz and examining it, then looking her over. "So," she said, "you were late for class, made another student late, clearly weren't prepared for your quiz, and your skirt and underwear are not regulation. You might as well have tried to sneak a boy in here as well, young lady."
Sierra gulped, shrinking under the weight of the accusations. She couldn't really deny them, either, nor did she think pointing out she didn't really go here would help. If anything, it might get her into even more trouble, which was the last thing she needed. "I-I'm sorry," she squeaked.
"You will be," the Principal promised, pointing to her desk. "Bend over."
Sierra gulped, seeing the paddle sitting on the desk now, waiting. "Pl-Please!" she begged. "I-I won't do it again, I promise!"
"So, are you disobeying a direct order as well?" the Principal raised her eyebrow. Sierra shook her head, taking the position quickly, but reluctantly. "Wait," the Principal frowned, pausing for a moment, giving Sierra hope she'd changed her mind until she continued with, "these aren't underwear at all, are they?" Before Sierra could answer, she felt the Principal's hand slide over the Goodnites, pushing the skirt up. "What are these for, young lady?"
"I-I don't need them!" Sierra insisted, turning bright red.
"If you don't need them, you should be wearing regulation underwear," the woman told her. "If you need these, then you ought to be in diapers. There's no in-between, young lady. Now, which is it?"
"I don't need diapers!" Sierra said again.
"You'd better hope you're right," the Principal said grimly, picking up the paddle. "Now, let's begin."
That was all the warning Sierra got. For all the build-up, and as long as she'd been fretting over this possibility, she still wasn't prepared. The first swat was much harder than she'd expected, enough to make her let out a yelp, and something else, despite her best efforts.
"What is this?!" the Principal demanded, poking at Sierra's newly damp padding. "Don't need them, hmm? I guess we can add lying to the list of things you need punished for."
Sierra was sobbing well before her punishment was over, her bladder giving in and absolutely soaking her Goodnite, her bottom pink and warm and throbbing as she watched the Principal pull out a huge, bulky diaper and lay it out on the desk Sierra had just been spanked over, picking her up and laying her on top of it, still sniffling.
"P-Please," Sierra whined, squirming as the strange woman removed her Goodnite and started to tape the diaper into place. "I-I don't really need them..."
"Then you shouldn't have peed your pants," the Principal said. "Now you're wearing them. And, since you seem to want to break dress code, you can stick with that skirt, so everyone knows what a rebel you are. I'd better not see you in my office again anytime soon, young lady, especially not for bad grades. If I hear you failed any more assignments, I won't take it easy on you next time."
The Principal sent Sierra out of the room with another whap to the rear. Sierra had been positive, more than once during her spanking, that she'd emptied her bladder completely. She'd obviously been wrong all but the last time, but now, as she felt herself dribbling slightly into her fresh padding, she realized she had been that time, too. She quickly toddled out of the office before the Principal could see she'd already shown she did need the diaper, and right into a crowd of girls, standing around and chatting.
It had already been hard enough to hide her Goodnite with that skirt, but now, with the far thicker diaper, it was impossible. She hurried down the hall, trying to ignore the laughter she heard behind her, ducking into the first bathroom she found and locking herself in a stall. She needed to find a way out of this place. There had to be something she could do!
