A quick little Christmas story. I'd hoped to do a little more with this, but I ran out of time. The picture is by :iconrosie-brs:, drawn during a sketch stream for her Patreon. Merry Christmas, everyone! ^-^

"I-It's not what it looks like!" Sierra insisted, stomping her foot in annoyance.

"Oh, really?" the other girl smirked, holding up the envelope. "Because it says, 'To Santa' right here, in crayon."

"That's what I had to write with!" Sierra pouted. "And it isn't a list!"

"Then what is it? What else do you have to write to Santa for?"

That was very complicated, and not exactly something Sierra wanted to get into. She could have shown off the letter she'd been writing, but that would probably lead to a lot more questions she didn't want to answer. After her last few Christmases, she wanted to give him a bit of a progress report, let him know how far she'd come. She'd grown back up, after all, after he'd turned her into a toddler, and learned some magic, and was being, mostly, a big girl, and she thought he should know. She didn't exactly feel like explaining how it wasn't totally immature that she thought Santa was real, since she knew it was the truth, not to a Muggle who definitely didn't know that.

"And why are you wearing a diaper?"

Sierra wished she could deny that, but the other girl had snuck up on her and gave the padding a pat before Sierra had realized she wasn't alone. Instead, she tugged at the hem of her skirt, cheeks almost as red as the dress. She could hardly imagine a more humiliating thing to be caught doing, especially while diapered.

This must be Carol's big sister, she assumed. Carol's parents had warned Sierra that her older sister, Joy, might be coming home from college that day, but Sierra hadn't been expecting her.

"You are the babysitter, aren't you?" the girl asked, and Sierra had to nod. "Sierra, right? That's your stocking?" Sierra blushed and nodded. This family she was sitting for was so nice, they'd hung up a stocking for her, and she wouldn't be surprised if there were some treats in there once Christmas came around. "I heard how much Carol loved you, but I thought it was because you were a good sitter, not because you were her equal."

"I'm not!" Sierra pouted.

"Then why are you in a diaper?" Joy asked again. "If you don't just wear them all the time, you must have stolen them. Is that it? Do I need to call the cops on you and have you arrested for stealing from my parents?"

"No!" Sierra squealed. "They aren't hers!"

"Then they are yours?" Joy raised her eyebrow.

Sierra sighed, stomping her foot again. She hated to admit it, but that was better than the alternative. She didn't think the police would really arrest her, especially if she could get in touch with Carol's parents so they could explain things, but Joy did live here, unlike her. "Fine, yes, they are!" she huffed. "I-I don't really need them, though, but I'm going to a party later tonight, and..."

"Is that why you're wearing that dress?" Joy teased. "And your precious little white tights? Honestly, it looks like you stole those from my sister, too."

"Well, I didn't!" Sierra folded her arms and glared. "I-I don't have a lot of, like, sexy dresses, and this was red, so I thought it was Christmassy. I-I just put the diaper on just in case, you know, because it can be hard to find bathrooms at parties sometime, and..."

"I think the truth is, you're just a little baby! Just like my sister! You wear diapers, you dress like her, and you write to Santa. It's the only explanation! And I'm gonna make sure everyone knows!" To Sierra's horror, Joy turned her phone towards her, showing a perfect shot of Sierra lying there, on the floor, diaper visible beneath her skirt as she wrote her letter to Santa. "I know the babysitting groups my parents use on Facebook. I can post this up all over those, so anyone else you work for can see how mature their sitter really is."

"No!" Sierra shook her head. "Please! You can't do this!"

"Like you could stop me, diaper girl," Joy smirked, turning her phone back towards herself and starting to tap around. Sierra grabbed for it, but the girl was much taller than her and just lifted it up, out of her reach, and continued working.

"Ohh!" Of course, Sierra had learned her lesson long ago about bringing her wand on babysitting jobs. "I wish I could get through one Christmas without getting embarrassed!"

Right away, she knew she'd made a mistake. Maybe Santa had been watching and waiting for a wish he could grant to reward her for all the progress she'd been making, or maybe she'd earned a wish from somewhere else and forgotten about it. Whatever it was, she instantly noticed Joy growing even taller, along with the rest of the room, and looked down at herself.

She gasped, blushing when she saw a droplet of drool drip onto the front of her dress, while feeling another dribble from further below, her diaper growing soggy as she started to helplessly wet herself. "Stoop!" she tried to order herself, hearing her voice get higher as she grew shorter and shorter, her baby fat reappearing before her eyes, until she was a toddler yet again, about the same age as her charge, Carol, still wearing the same outfit as before, although she had to admit it fit her better now.

"No!" she stomped her foot. "I just want one Christmas where I can be a big girl!"

"What is going on in here?" She gasped, eyes widening when she saw Carol's mother walk into the room, cheeks darkening as she stared down at her Mary Jane clad feet. She'd been turned into a toddler plenty of times at this point, but it never stopped being embarrassing, especially when someone who expected her to be a grown-up saw her.

"Joy!" the woman scolded her. "Are you upsetting Sierra?"

"What?" Joy frowned. "No, I didn't do anything! She was just..."

"Be nice to her! Honestly, young lady, she's just a baby!" her mother shook her head.

Sierra blushed, automatically squeaking out a, "Nuh-uh!" even though she knew she ought to be grateful that apparently her client remembered her as a child, at least.

"Oh, I'm sorry, sweetie," the woman bent down, patting Sierra on the head, then wiping her drooling mouth with a washcloth. "You're a big girl!" Sierra giggled as the woman booped her on the nose, although, after hearing the condescending tone that had been used, she started to wonder if it was true. She was a big girl, right? She pressed her thighs together, feeling the wet padding there, her memories starting to melt away as she tried to concentrate on them to remind herself that she really had been a grown-up moments earlier.

"She was!" Joy insisted. "She was an adult, like, two seconds ago, a-and I know you weren't here then!"

Something in the back of Sierra's mind told her this was clearly a reality altering spell, but those words had already lost all meaning by the time that happened, and she gladly accepted the pacifier she was offered before toddling closer to the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree.

"What are you talking about?" Joy's mother shook her head. "What have you been doing at that school of yours, young lady? Have you been drinking?"

"No!" Joy blushed. "I-I swear..."

"I knew you were too immature to be off at college on your own."

"I am not!" Joy stomped her foot.

"If you think tormenting a little toddler is okay, and making up some crazy story to justify it, then you obviously are," her mom countered. "We'll talk about this later. Now, as for you," she knelt down in front of Sierra, "do you want to go take a nap with Carol before your Mommy gets here?"

Even through the haze, Sierra knew something was wrong, that her Mommy had been gone for a long time. Was the woman talking about Robin? Or did she really meant her mother? Had she returned? Had she cast the spell, so that she could have another chance at raising her daughter from scratch? Or was it someone, or something, else, coming to claim her?

Sierra had just long enough to feel worried about that, before those thoughts vanished, too. The last bit of her adulthood tried to grasp onto them, knowing she had to fight to keep her mind intact, or whatever showed up as her Mommy would be free to do with her as she wished, since she'd essentially be a helpless toddler before them, a blank slate. She had to at least remember she was a big girl to have a chance to escape, or...

"Uh-oh!" she gasped, squirming in place, all other thoughts pushed aside as she felt her diaper begin expanding beneath her, filling up with a warm, squishy load. She knew she should be able to stop it, but it kept coming anyway, slowly but surely filling up every empty space in her diaper, making it balloon behind her as she sucked mindlessly on her pacifier, more and more of her mind drifting away as she continued to mess herself.

"Well, after we change you, of course," Carol's mommy told her, and Sierra pouted. "Sweetie, Santa would want you to take a nap, I think. And you want toys for Christmas, don't you?"

Sierra thought for a long moment, then nodded. "Okie!" she nodded, raising her hands so she could be picked up. "Nap!"

"Good girl," Carol's mommy scooped her up. "I bet you'll get lots of good presents this year!" Sierra nodded, mind filled with visions of the toys she hoped Santa was going to bring her, and nothing else, like any other good little baby with Christmas on its way.
