"Pleeease?" Sierra begged, clasping her hands together. "You have to help me!"
The girl, Brittany, looked Sierra up and down and smirked. "I have to, do I? Why's that?"
Sierra bit her bottom lip. "I can't get another F," she said simply. She couldn't tell the truth, of course. She couldn't admit that she'd put off studying for this test, the last one before break, so long that she only had one night to learn half her textbook. She also couldn't admit that her father had written to her and told her that if he found out she'd gotten another F she'd be getting a spanking when she went home for her break. He didn't spank her very often now that she was an adult, but he was still paying for her to go to school here, and she had very little doubt that he was being serious with his threat.
"Whatever," Brittany shrugged. "Can you pay?"
Sierra nodded, reaching into her pocket and pulling out the money she'd been saving from her allowance so she could go do something over break, but if she could just pass this test, she might be bored at home, but at least her bottom would be safe.
The girl looked at her money and sniffed, as if that wasn't good enough. Sierra frowned, stomping her foot as she heard Brittany's roommates start to giggle. As if it wasn't bad enough to have to do this, the person she was going to wasn't even a senior, like her! She was three grades below Sierra, which would have been embarrassing enough even if there had been somewhere to meet her other than her room, which she still had to share. "I can find somebody else!" Sierra pouted.
"No, I can work with this, I guess," the girl shrugged, scooping the money up off of her desk. She pulled out a piece of paper and started scribbling something out on it. "So, you just need to learn as much as possible as quickly as you can, right? That shouldn't be so hard." She finished writing and folded up the paper, handing it to Sierra. "Say that, and swish your wand like this," she demonstrated with her pencil. "But wait until you're ready to start studying, you don't want to waste it."
"Okay," Sierra nodded, feeling a weight lifting from her shoulders. It really was going to work out! "Thanks!"
Brittany shrugged, dismissing Sierra as she turned back to her own books, clearly unimpressed with the older girl. Sierra found it hard to be too bothered by that as she hurried out of the fourth year dorms and to the cafeteria, ready to fuel up so she could get on with the most epic study session of her school career.
By the time she headed back to her room, she was afraid she might have overdone it. The last dinner before a break was always a big deal, and she just couldn't decide between all the wonderful desserts! She was feeling a little drowsy, but she had the spell, and that should be enough to keep her from having to pull an all-nighter. Or, at least, she hoped so.
She grabbed her books and her notebook with all of her notes from the class, gathering them all together. She kind of wished she'd bothered to ask exactly what the spell was going to do, so she knew how best to prepare for it. Still, most everyone had told her Brittany was the best for study enhancement spells, so she was sure that, no matter what happened, she was still in good hands.
She pulled the paper from her pocket, unfolded it, and grabbed her wand, practicing the movement a couple times before finally saying the incantation along with it, wanting to make sure she got it right. At the last second, she squeezed her eyes shut nervously, like she tended to do with a lot of difficult spells. Almost instantly, she could feel her mind expanding, opening up, ready to take in as much new knowledge as she could feed it.
She could feel something else, though. There was a breeze against her skin, almost everywhere, except around her waist, which felt even warmer than it had before. She frowned, squirming a little. She heard a slight crinkle, and as her leg moved, it seemed to brush against something cool and smooth. She wiggled some more, moving both her legs this time, trying to push them together, only to feel something soft and thick between them, keeping them apart.
She opened her eyes, mouth falling open as she looked around. Her room, which normally seemed a bit on the small side to her, was now huge. Or, rather, she was tiny. She glanced down at herself, whimpering softly as she saw a baby's body there, clad only in a thick diaper. "No, no, no," she whimpered, trying to scramble to her feet. Her legs felt very weak and shaky, and they refused to move the way she wanted as she tried to run for her door, making it only a few steps at a time before falling on her thickly padded bottom, which worryingly felt a little warmer each time she did so. Finally, she resorted to crawling the last of what felt like an epicly long trek to her door, only to realize that her doorknob was too high for her to reach.
She sat there staring up at it dejectedly, wondering what she was going to do. To her surprise, after a moment, it began to jiggle. She gasped, trying to scramble away, not wanting anyone to see her like this, but powerless to do anything to stop it, especially since she'd stupidly left her wand behind with her books. As she scrambled clumsily away, the door opened, and in walked Brittany.
"Oh, good, you already did it," the girl smirked. She closed the door behind her, looming over Sierra.
"Wha' you do?!" Sierra demanded, pouting up at the girl. She had always been a bit taller than Sierra, but now she towered menacingly, which made it very difficult for Sierra to try to sound intimidating, especially since just talking was proving to be a challenge.
"Helping you out," Brittany smiled.
Sierra frowned, kicking her feet and pounding her hands on the floor. "Help?!" she squeaked.
"Yeah," Brittany nodded. "I mean, you didn't have enough money to actually pay for my study aids, but you did have enough to pay for a babysitter. So that's what you got."
"I don' need babysittew!" Sierra growled. "I need study!"
Brittany bent down, easily plucking Sierra up and then setting her back down by her books. "But I helped you with that, too, silly. Do you know who learns the quickest?" Sierra stared up at her blankly. Brittany laugh, booping her on the nose. "Babies! They absorb knowledge so quickly! You wouldn't believe it! I think it's because their little minds are so empty to begin with. They barely know anything about walking, or talking, or any grown-up stuff. They don't even have to worry about knowing anything about potty training." Brittany pushed her fingertips against the crotch of Sierra's diaper and giggled. Sierra frowned and wiggled, blushing as she realized how warm and squishy the padding around her waist was.
"Go on, get studying!" Brittany told her. Sierra looked up at her, a little confused, but clumsily reached for the top book. She supposed that all made sense, so she might as well take advantage of this. It was unorthodox, but maybe it would work after all.
Brittany laughed as she saw Sierra's face fall. "Uh-oh!" she giggled. "I guess that's another reason babies minds are so empty. They don't know anything about reading, do they?"
"No faiw!" Sierra whined, kicking her feet again. "I paid you! Help me!"
"Okay," Brittany smiled, pulling a pacifier from her pocket and popping it into Sierra's mouth. Instantly, despite herself, she began to suck on it, feeling calmer right away, even if it was somewhat worrying that she couldn't stop herself. "Well, if you aren't going to study, I guess I should give you something else to do." She pulled out her wand, waving it and transforming Sierra's books into a pile of blocks. "There, that seems more appropriate, don't you think?" Another flick and a crib sprung up from the floor.
Sierra sniffled behind her pacifier, but she couldn't quite remember how to stop sucking on it, or how to get it out of her mouth so she could talk. "That's better," Brittany sighed happily. "Peace and quiet. I don't even get this at home, you know. I have to share my room with my little sisters. I never knew seventh year rooms were so nice. I don't have a lot of clients your age." She looked down at Sierra and smirked. "Well, your former age. I might have to do this more often."
Sierra whimpered, squirming a bit as her tummy began to hurt. Her mind felt strange and foggy, and she couldn't quite figure out what was happening. "Aww, thirsty?" Brittany asked, conjuring up a bottle of milk. Sierra knew she didn't want it, that it was connected with why her diaper was wet, along with her having had too much to drink at dinner, but as soon as Brittany removed her pacifier and gave her the bottle instead, she started to suck on it, and couldn't make herself stop.
She fidgeted, grunting a little as she felt something else happening. A different kind of warmth was making its way into her diaper, this one bringing with it a mushy feeling, making her diaper expand slightly around her. Sierra frowned and squirmed in her growing diaper, helplessly drinking her bottle as she looked down at her blocks. There was something important about them, she knew, but she couldn't quite remember what. What was she supposed to do with them? Did she need to build something? What?
As soon as she finished her bottle and Brittany took it away, giving her the pacifier back, she went to work trying to figure it out, grabbing each block and trying to find out how they went together, looking for the perfect combination, sure that was what she was supposed to be doing that night.
"Good work," Brittany chuckled as she watched. "You'll be ready for that test in no time. And don't worry, I'm sure the spell will wear off in time for it. Pretty sure, anyway." She shrugged and settled down at Sierra's desk, pulling out her own books as Sierra played on the floor with her blocks, blissfully unaware, at least until the next morning when she was bound to fail her test spectacularly, of what was sure to be waiting for her when she went home the next evening.
