My entry for <a target="_self" href="https://tamaeftt.deviantart.com/" ><img class="avatar" src="https://a.deviantart.net/avatars/t/a/tamaeftt.png?4" alt=":icontamaeftt:" title="TamaeFTT" /></a>'s story contest, based around <a href="https://tamaeftt.deviantart.com/art/YOS14-521095000">this picture</a>.<br /><br />This is pretty different from what I usually write! It was kind of difficult, but a fun challenge! I'm not used to writing this sort of fanfic, with actual characters from a series and not just others peoples' OCs, or trying to keep a story under a certain number of pages. It has also been a long time since I watched CCS, which didn't help much, either. I would have loved to have had time to rewatch it, because I love it and it would have helped with writing the characters, but it just wasn't in the cards! I think it turned out all right, though, and my memory and some research let me do some fun stuff. Because of the events of the story, I tried to only use cards that you don't actually see transformed into Sakura cards on-screen in the series itself, so it could almost fit into the anime!
