"Your name is Matti?" Kiara called from the kitchen. "Do you mean Maddy?"

"No, it's Matti!" Matti replied. "With t's! It's short for Mathilda!"

"Oh, I like that better," Kiara commented, quietly enough that Matti wasn't sure if she'd known she was being heard or not from the other room.

"Thanks," Matti said automatically as she saw a cup being set down on the table in front of her. She half expected it to be filled with milk when she looked up, but that was probably only because that was what Valerie liked to give her. And now, Matti suspected that was because it was easier to hide whatever she was dosing her with in that, a thought that made her shiver, but also gave her a bit of a shameful tingle between her legs.

In this was, it wasn't, however. It was just water, which was better, since Matti had never been a big fan of milk in the first place, though she was, stragely, a little disappointed. She was also disappointed to see that she'd been given it in a plastic cup, when she'd been staring across the table at Kiara's seat the whole time, and knew that she was using a glass herself. Did she not trust Matti to use one of those?!

Matti took a sip, then turned to look up at Kiara, standing over her. "Okay," she nodded. "Now, can we get to work?" She didn't want to be here all day. It was nice that she'd been able to escape cheerleading practice, and, while she didn't expect to get out of here before that was over, there was a chance. And then she'd have some time to herself, without Valerie around! That would be nice. "What exactly do you need help with?"

Kiara sighed, her cute little face screwing up as she looked at Matti. "Well..." she said, "if you really want to help..."

"Yeah," Matti shrugged. "That's what I'm here for."

"All right," Kiara told her, before walking off again. Matti rolled her eyes, wondering if she was supposed to follow her this time, deciding, instead, to stay put, feet swinging in the tall chair, taking another drink of her water. After a few minutes, Kiara returned, slipping in behind Matti, taking her by surprise when she dropped a massive textbook on the table in front of her. Matti flinched as it slammed down, sure she could see the table buckling slightly, waves forming in the water in her cup.

"You're using this?" Matti's eyes widened. "In high school?"

"It's not that hard," Kiara said, opening it up and flipping through it. "Let's see, we were... here!" She stopped, jabbing her finger at one of the pages. "I was really only having trouble with this part, so if you could just explain it to me, that would be a big help."

"S-Sure," Matti nodded, scooting forward in her seat to look it over. It shouldn't be that difficult. She'd done great in everything she'd taken in high school, and up until the thing with Valerie, she'd been doing mostly the same in college. She may have let herself get lazy with a couple classes now and then, but she always made up for it in the end. That was, in a way, what this whole tutoring thing was about, though even with it, she knew she was probably going to end up with the worst grade she'd gotten in a very long time, if not ever. At least, if the other classes where she didn't have extra credit to do didn't beat it.

"Let's see," Matti started, scanning the page. "All it's saying is..." She furrowed her brow, going back to the top of the page in confusion. "Umm..." She flipped back a page, and then another.

"Here, let me get you a refill," Kiara offered helpfully.

"I haven't drank that much," Matti told her, still staring blankly at the book, but Kiara was already on her way to the kitchen. She didn't really mind, anyway. From the glimpse she got of the cup, it seemed she'd drank more than she'd though, and it was probably better not to have the person she was there to help see her so hopelessly lost. She didn't even know where to start with this! She blushed, shifting in her seat, a weird feeling welling up in the pit of her stomach, one she'd only felt once before, when, during her freshman year, she'd accidentally read her class schedule wrong and wound up in the wrong place, in an advanced level class for something she knew nothing about.

Maybe she'd felt the same when she was really young, too, learning things for the first time, but, if she did, she'd been too young to remember it now. She had to imagine it would have been similar, though, because this made her feel so little, so stupid, so aware of how much she didn't know, when she'd been so sure she had at least a basic grasp on most things. Then again, maybe it hadn't been there when she was a kid, because she hadn't been through years of school where she was making all A's beforehand, to make her think she was so clever, before having it demonstrated to her how out of her depth she was.

The class had been terrible, leaving her sitting there, wanting to cry, doubting whether she was ready for college after all, until she'd finally realized she was in the wrong place. She would have thought this book wouldn't be as bad, and yet, if anything, she felt worse, knowing that it belonged to a high schooler, and that, apparently, there was only one part of it that she didn't understand, whereas, no matter how far back in it Matti flipped, she couldn't grasp any of it.

What kind of a tutor was she?! Kiara was going to tell her mom that she was useless, and she'd get fired, and she'd fail the class! All because she really was just the dumb little girl Valerie had dressed her as that morning!

"Here we go!" Kiara exclaimed cheerfully, returning the cup to its place. "So, are you ready yet?"

Matti gulped, shaking her head, grabbing at the water for another sip, using that to delay the inevitable. "S-Sorry, my throat is a little dry," she fibbed.

"Oh, then you'd better drink up," Kiara grinned. "I'm sure it's going to take a lot of explanation to get me to understand this!"

"Y-Yeah," Matti nodded, keeping ahold of the cup, pressing it to her chest, ready to drink some more. "I-I'm just surprised you're already learning this."

Kiara froze for a moment, her button nose wrinkling. "You are, huh?" she glowered.

"I-I just didn't know they taught it in high school at all!" Matti explained quickly. She frowned, tilting her head. Actually, did they? She wasn't even certain they taught this at her college! It might even be grad level, or so she hoped, since it would make her feel a little better about how lost she was when trying to decipher it. If Kiara was being sent to a high school where they were learning this, why would Dr. Osswald be worried about her getting into any college she wanted? Why would she have gotten Matti to tutor her?

She reached out for the front cover, wanting to close it and read what the title was, since Kiara had opened it so quickly she hadn't gotten a good look. Kiara shoved the book back down against the table to stop her. "Are you going to help or not?" she demanded, sounding more forceful than Matti would have expected from somebody so small.

Matti opened her mouth, wanting to ask if this was even her textbook, or one of her mom's old ones, but she suspected the girl wouldn't like that, especially if she was wrong. And it would definitely make it look like she didn't know what she was doing, which was, of course, absolutely true. She stared up at Kiara, trying to judge if the girl was trying to trick her, or prank her. She stared right back, her eyes more firm and fiery than Matti had anticipated, making her squirm in her seat.

"Just tell me," Kiara ordered, flipping back through the book, "how to do this." Matti tried to tell if she was browsing randomly, or if she knew exactly where she was going, hoping that would tip her off as to what was going on, but the girl was doing it so confidently, it was hard to tell. The example questions did come right after the part Kiara had initially pointed to, though she might just have remembered what it looked like well enough that she could find that section again.

"O-Okay," Matti gulped down another mouthful of water, buying herself as much time as she could, only to find that she was already on the last of the cup's contents. Nervously, she set it down, adjusting her glasses to take another look at the question on the page. "S-So, I think if you look at this..." she pointed at one part of it, "and compare it to this..."

"What?" Kiara scoffed. "Those have nothing to do with one another!"

Matti nibbled her bottom lip anxiously. "A-Are you sure?"

"Ugh!" Kiara slammed the book shut, picking it up and tucking it under her arm before Matti could recover from that blow to her ego enough to read the title. "I knew you were going to be useless from the moment I saw you! Hold on, I think I have something more your speed."

She returned with something, somehow, even worse, pushing a baby doll in a pink onesie into Matti's arms. Matti dropped it automatically, as if it had sent out an electric shock on contact, sending it falling onto the table.

"What is the matter with you?!" Kiara stomped her foot, scooping the doll back up as it started to emit a recorded cry. "You'd better hope that wasn't a long enough fall for it to register on the sensors!"

"I-I don't..." Matti shook her head.

"Here," Kiara shoved the doll back at Matti. "You made her upset, you're going to comfort her until she shuts up."

"B-But..." Matti groaned, looking down at the doll. "What am I supposed to do?!"

"Oh, come on," Kiara rolled her eyes. "You never played with dolls?"

"No!" Matti exclaimed.

Kiara gave her a skeptical look. "Really? You? The girl wearing the Barbie shirt?"

"This isn't mine!" Matti told her. "I... borrowed it." That was an easier explanation than the real thing. "I never liked Barbies, or baby dolls, or any of that stuff."

"Really?" Kiara's eyebrows raised, but it didn't seem to be completely out of disbelief. "Well, it's simple. Just hold her in your arms like this, and rock her back and forth. Gently!"

Matti did as she was told, recalling now that she'd definitely seen Kelsey doing this with her dolls when she was younger. "It's not working!" she complained when the doll didn't shut up.

"It takes time," Kiara shook her head. "You dropped her! She isn't going to instantly feel better after that. Just keep going, and I'll get you some more water."

"Oh, I'm fine," Matti tried to tell her, but she was already gone. She sighed, looking down at the doll in her arms, wondering how she'd gotten here. This was not at all how she'd expected this tutoring thing to go.

To her surprise, however, the doll did slowly begin to quiet down, and it had almost stopped by the time Kiara returned. "Good job!" Kiara praised her. After her utter failure with the book, Matti did feel a surge of pride at that, until she remembered it had come from something as simple as her playing with a doll, not anything an actual tutor would be needed for.

"So, is this... yours?" Matti asked, setting the baby down, gently, on the table in front of her, glad to get it away from her until Kiara gave her a dirty look, forcing her to take another drink of water to justify why she'd done it.

"Yes, I'm a proud mother," Kiara patted her flat stomach. "No, you dummy, it's an assignment! Did you not have to do this in Home Ec?"

"I didn't take Home Ec," Matti admitted. It was, to be fair, because of things just like this. She had no interest in learning how to cook, or sew, or whatever other dumb things they did there. She hadn't been sure if this sort of thing, where you had to pretend to take care of a baby doll like it was a real baby, was real, or if it was only a plot device for TV shows, but she hadn't wanted to find out, either.

"You really are useless, aren't you?" Kiara sniffed. "Well, since you're here, and you aren't any good for my actual schoolwork, you're going to look after her."

"B-But I don't know how..." Matti complained.

"Of course you don't," Kiara rolled her eyes.

Matti jumped as the doll started to cry again. "I didn't do anything!" she exclaimed, holding her hands up, showing she hadn't touched the doll.

"She's probably hungry," Kiara told her. "Hold on." She vanished again, this time coming back, dumping an armload of doll-sized things on the table in front of Matti. "Here, try this first," she fished a bottle out of the mess of tiny toys and clothes, giving it to Matti. Matti tried to push the bottle into the doll's mouth. "No!" Kiara growled. "You can't feed her lying down like that! Pick her up!"

"Okay, okay!" Matti plucked the doll off the table, holding it in her arms, letting Kiara adjust her grip.

"There," Kiara nodded critically. "Now you can feed her."

Matti pouted, staring up at her, hardly able to believe this was what her tutoring job had devolved into. Kiara waved her on, and, reluctantly, she slipped the bottle's nipple into the doll's mouth, which, thankfully, shut it up again.

"There you go!" Kiara smiled. "You're a natural! Now, you do that while I go back to my homework."

"How do I know when she's finished?" Matti asked.

"Don't worry about that," Kiara said. "It'll be a while."

Matti sighed, settling into her chair. Of course, it wasn't until then, while she was stuck sitting there, holding a bottle in place for a stupid baby doll, that she felt the water she'd drank starting to catch up with her, joining the fullness that had been developing in her bowels all day thanks to the fiber in her morning bottle. She blushed, rubbing her thighs together, feeling the slight bulk of her Pull-Ups. She could use them at any time, but she didn't want to do that in front of Kiara. And, she knew, if she did, that would mean she'd have to wear them again tomorrow!

"D-Do you think she's done yet?" Matti asked after a few minutes, squirming.

"No, probably not," Kiara didn't even look up.

"Is there some way to check, or...?"

"Mathilda," Kiara huffed, the sound of her full name making Matti tense up, even knowing it was coming from some girl younger than her, who she was technically in charge of, and not an adult, as it usually was. "I have a lot of work to do, and the last thing I need is to hear that doll crying again. Just sit there and feed her!"

"I could help!" Matti offered. "That's what I'm here for!"

Kiara glanced up at last, with a withering stare that made Matti wish she hadn't. "Believe me," she smirked. "You doing that is the most help you could give me." The fact that it was because she thought Matti was too dumb for anything else went unspoken, but Matti had no doubt it was the truth.

She blushed, wriggling in her seat, feeling her bladder growing more and more full and uncomfortable. After everything that had happened, she was not going to pee her pants in front of her tutee! She could not let that happen! And yet, the pressure was definitely building, maybe because of how quickly and how much she'd drank, but maybe also because of whatever drugs Valerie had been giving her. It did seem like it had been happening like this more often than not lately, the need to go appearing and then escalating more quickly than she was used to. That really ought to concern her more than it did, or at least not kind of turn her on, especially given her current situation, but she couldn't help it.

"Wh-What about now?" she tried, shaking her head, trying to banish those thoughts.

"Fine," Kiara sighed. "Take the bottle out and see."

Tentatively, Matti slid the bottle out of the doll's mouth, a triumphant smile crossing her face when she was greeted with silence. "I did it!" she beamed, before remembering what a simple task it had been. It was something little girls did with their dolls all the time, though they did it for fun, and not a grade.

"Good work," Kiara said teasingly.

"All right," Matti was almost a little disappointed she hadn't gotten more desperate before she'd found an opening to get to the bathroom, but she knew, in reality, that was a good thing, "I'll be right..."

And then the doll started to cry again. Matti looked down at it in bewilderment. "Are you going to do something about that?" Kiara asked.

"D-Does she need another bottle?" Matti frowned.

"She just had one," Kiara reminded her, as if she weren't the one who had given it to the doll. "What do you do with babies after they have their bottles?" Matti stared at her blankly. "You burp them!"

"Right!" Matti nodded, putting the doll over her shoulder, patting it softly on the back, bouncing in place as she felt another pang from her bladder. "Sh-She's not doing anything."

"Sometimes it takes time," Kiara shrugged.

Matti fidgeted. "B-But..."

"Just keep trying," Kiara told her. "It'll happen eventually."

In her mind, which was growing more and more occupied with thoughts of staying dry, it was hard not to take those words as referring to what was going to happen in her Pull-Ups, if she didn't get to the bathroom soon. She supposed she was getting what she wanted, and the desperation was kind of hot, and fun in a weird way, as long as she ignored the idea of what the consequences would be if she failed. Yes, it was probably at least partially Valerie's fault, and yes, it wouldn't be as bad if she was allowed to wear her own clothes, which would hide them far better, but she was months away from being a college graduate! She shouldn't be spending two full days in training panties like a three year old! And she definitely shouldn't have earned them the second day by having a genuine accident!

"What are you doing?"

Matti looked up quickly, blushing, sure that, somehow, Kiara had invaded her mind, and knew what she was thinking about. That, or she'd seen the way she was wiggling around, and recognized it from seeing toddlers do it. "Nothing!" Matti blurted out.

"You have to pat harder than that!" Kiara instructed. "It's never going to happen if you're that gentle!"

Matti wanted to ask why she hadn't said so before, why she'd let her waste so much time before mentioning it, but she knew that was just her looking for someone else to blame. She hadn't wanted to 'hurt' the doll, but she could have tried doing more, when she saw nothing was happening. Instead, she'd let the clock run down further, bringing her closer and closer to a deluge in her pants.

Finally, the doll let out a small, recorded belch, setting Matti free. "There!" she breathed a sigh of relief, setting the doll down on the table once more. "Now..." And, almost immediately, the doll started to cry again. "Seriously?!"

"You took so long, she's probably bored," Kiara suggested. "Try giving her one of her toys."

"Can it wait a minute?" Matti squeezed her legs together frantically.

"Need I remind you your one job here is to keep her quiet?" Kiara shot back.

Matti pouted. "No," she shook her head, looking at the toys scattered across the table in front of her, picking up a tiny set of blocks, pressing them into the doll's hands. There was no response. "It's not working!" she reported, the words coming across far whinier than she'd meant for them to.

"Then try another," Kiara rolled her eyes.

Matti grabbed at toy after toy, her fingers feeling increasingly clumsy and fumbling as her desperation grew, until, finally, a mini-replica of a ring-stacking game in her hands, it happened. She let out a tiny squeak as a trickle of urine made its way out of her, soaking into her Pull-Up.

"Something wrong?" Kiara asked.

Matti swallowed, shaking her head as it started to spin. "N-No," she lied, wiggling in her chair. It hadn't been huge, no, but she could definitely feel it there, and Valerie had told her she expected her to come home at the end of the day totally dry. Maybe the cheerleader would take mercy on her, but that didn't sound much like her. She very well might have just sealed her fate. "I-I just thought I found the right one."

"Hmm," Kiara raised an eyebrow. "Well, you didn't. Keep trying."

Matti did, her cheeks growing warmer every time she moved just the right way, and felt the wet spot in her pants. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she picked up the last of the doll's toys, the one she probably should have started with, but had been avoiding purposely. It would be too one the nose, she'd thought, for the doll to want a miniature doll of its own to 'play' with, and yet, sure enough, as soon as it was near enough its hands for the sensor to kick in, the doll's crying stopped.

"Finally!" Kiara exclaimed.

Matti waited a long moment, half expecting the cries to start again instantly, until she felt another spasm in her bladder. "I-I'll be right back!" she squealed, hopping out of the chair and nearly dashing out of the dining room. She couldn't do that, however, not without running the risk of making it obvious what she was doing, or, worse still, having her tiny skirt flap up with the fast movement and reveal her trainers to Kiara. So, as calmly as she could, she walked out of the room, hands curled tightly around the hem of her skirt, every fiber of her being tensed.

As soon as she was out of the room, she broke into a dash. She'd seen the bathroom on the way into the dining room, so she knew it wasn't far. She could make it! She had to make it!

She came pretty close, too, the bathroom within sight, the door open, letting her see the toilet, her goal, in the distance. She probably could have counted the number of steps it would take to get there on both hands, or on one, if she was running fast enough. But it didn't matter. She'd waited too long, and her bladder couldn't take it anymore.

"No!" she whispered, freezing in place, stomach churning as she felt another trickling in her Pull-Ups, one that quickly turned into a stream, and then a full-on torrent, her muscles refusing to stop it at any point, or to carry her any closer. They knew it was hopeless, even before her brain would accept it, would process what was happening. She blushed, staring at the toilet in shame while she soaked her pants, like any other little girl who had gotten too distracted playing with her dolly to make it to the potty on time.
