Day 10 of the 25 Days of TF-mas! (Contains girl to stocking tf)

Elliott returned to her apartment after a few more hours of searching and staking out the home of Vanessa in vain. After the barista had conversed with the patrons of the pancake shop and found that woman's ID she'd become more certain that something sinister was happening with that woman in the beanie at the center. Finally changing out of her work uniform for the first time since this whole mess began, Elliott sat at her desk to sort out what she'd learned thus far. Carla's disappearance was the first one that she took notice of, but was unlikely to be the first actual occurrence. After researching the home she'd been staking out, Elliott found it belonged to a woman named Vanessa, whom she had not seen hide nor tail of since her investigation began. Her suspicion, therefore, was that Vanessa had been the first target of... whatever that woman was doing, and her home was a base of operations of sorts. As far as she could know Carla was the second. She had served the cute nerd a double chocolate chunk cookie and a large cup of hot cocoa with whipped cream and sprinkles. She had been there one moment and gone the next with a chunk of unexplainable awareness lapsing between. The café was far from packed, but it was busy that night, and yet not a single person saw anything actually happen to the girl. If Elliott hadn't been paying so much attention to where she sat and her typical habits not matching up with her leaving her belongings behind, she herself would never have even suspected a thing. Elliott shuddered at the thought. Just what kind of person was capable of making someone disappear right out from everyone's noses? In any case, the next thing to happen involving the woman in the beanie was her selection of her next victim. Elliott tapped her pencil on her notebook repeatedly. She never exactly cared for the way that Lorrie girl and her ilk bashed on the holidays, but they were harmless and mostly quiet about it, at least compared to some of the real troublemakers. The way that woman eyed Lorrie was burned now into Elliott's mind. It was the look of a predator. Elliott had trailed the woman in the beanie to Lorrie's home, but by the time she'd arrived, all she saw was her leaving with a big inflatable lawn decoration. The home was utterly empty and Elliott had not seen Lorrie since. She'd followed them back to Vanessa's home in time to see her set up the decoration and leave again. She had taken the time to investigate the lawn decoration then, and aside from its resemblance to Lorrie she saw nothing strange about it. That time spent had lost her suspect, whom she hadn't really caught up to since. Elliott had staked the place out to not miss her next move, only to fall asleep in her car. When she awoke that morning she noticed a new wreath, and managed by pure luck to stumble into a fresh lead and her biggest yet since Carla vanished. She had heard people complaining about a similar daze to the one she'd experienced before in a pancake eatery and, upon investigation, found evidence of at least one but probably two people missing in the aftermath. While no one described the woman with dark hair and a beanie that she was chasing, the rest of the circumstantial evidence was enough to convince Elliott that she had been there. She had looked up the name she'd found on the ID, and now that some time had passed, learned that Tori had not been seen in a bit. After that though, the trail had gone cold. Looking over this now, it seemed like the woman struck mostly in public places that she knew of, or at least didn't care about the level of privacy the area had. A café during a busy night, a shopping center she'd tried to catch her in, and a pancake place in the morning rush. These places were not the typical back alleys and midnight break ins one would have expected, and that was probably the key to her attacks. Armed with this presumed understanding, Elliott started to look for places that she might strike next...

Some people were morning drinkers. Some people were evening drinkers. Some drank a little to take the edge off. Some drank to be the life of the party. And some... Some were Michelle. If you asked the locals though, there weren't too many quite like Michelle. She wore a loose flannel most days with a crop top that squeezed her hard enough for her cleavage to practically spill out and pants that gripped her so well one might be forgiven for assuming she had a phobia of being pantsed. Such an assumption was dashed the moment she opened her mouth around someone she found to be good looking, however. During those times there wasn't anyone on the planet that wanted her pants off more than Michelle. She considered herself to be a happy drunk, though most referred to her as the loud one, and she was often loitering about various establishments ready to ambush whoever she decided to be her best friend at that given time. Some took pity on the woman, but the rest were happy to ignore her and do their best to avoid her line of sight. Neither of these groups accurately described Kat, who had just left a convenience store with a bundle of goodies. Small trinkets, candies, and assorted pocket-sized artifacts were on the list today to be used as stocking stuffers. The only thing missing for Kat now was a stocking.

"Heyyyyy baby," Michelle's speech was slow and most definitely slurred. She threw herself over Kat's shoulder, draped on her like a booze-soaked scarf, "Whatcha got -hic- there, good lookin'?" She asked, peeking into the bag.

Kat was a bit surprised by this person's behavior. It wasn't something Kat was used to per se, and definitely not a normal behavior for the humans in this city, "Stocking stuffers." Kat replied, curt and direct.

Either oblivious to or uncaring of Kat's tone, Michelle grinned, a blush spreading over her already bright, drunken face, "Hey now baby... I wish I- was your stockin' so you could stuff me," Her lustful words triggered a reaction from Kat, but Michelle was about to learn it was not nearly for the reason she thought.

"I can do that." Kat replied, grateful to have the volunteer.

"Ooh! I love the way you're- ah! Aghl?" Her words were interrupted by Kat grapping her face and mouth unexpectedly. She wasn't going to say she didn't enjoy this until Kat began to pull her upper and lower jaws in opposite directions. What maybe should have been painful, or worse, a gruesome end to her life, instead was something much more extraordinary. Her mouth was pulled wide open like an unhinged snake jaw. No crack of bones, no tearing skin, no pain, though that probably would have been muted by her incredible blood-alcohol content at the time regardless. Michelle was having a very difficult time processing what exactly was happening to her. Luckily, Kat cared very little about that fact and began to dump the contents of its shopping trip into her now gaping maw. Fully wrapped candies, a phone charger, a small plush, toy cars, gift cards, and more were deposited. While the thought didn't cross the drunk's mind, she probably should have begun to choke, but she didn't even feel herself swallowing. It was as though her throat widened to accommodate her predicament. She didn't feel her arms sink into her side or her legs fuse together. Michelle's skin became a red, fuzzy fabric, but this too was lost on her. Her head, though it was mostly just a stretched mouth anymore, also began to lose its characteristics. A white, fluffy substance sprouted around the lip of her former lips, burying any human resemblance to what remained of Michelle.

Michelle's hollow body had already formed a lump from the contents Kat had deposited inside her, and now the entire form she'd taken began to shrink around this lump until the last things Kat had dropped inside poked out of the top opening. As the changes settled, Michelle tipped over, but Kat caught and lifted her. Kat returned to Vanessa's home, eager to hang the stocking over the fireplace...
