Contains themes of ABDL, Age regression, and the like

Danielle was a lot of things. Shy was not generally one of them. On the contrary, she was bold, a bit prideful, and always interested in the taboo and forbidden. It was exhilarating, in a way, standing in the incontinence section of the convenience store, browsing the wares. Honestly, she didn’t really know what she was looking for, so she pulled a bag off the shelf and looked at it. Most of the underwear was designed to emulate adult panties, which was perfect for adults with incontinence wanting the least disruptive protection, but she recalled seeing the posts online of very childlike diapers, scaled up for adults. The thought process led her to the baby section – it would be simple to use a spell to size these up. She pulled out her phone to reread the message from pamperedprincess121. ‘Let yourself BE a little kid again…’ She bit her lower lip in contemplation. This was silly – what was she even doing right now? There was no way she was like the people on that forum… But what way was that? Childish perhaps, but happy? She scrolled through the website again. What they were doing was socially abhorrent, and certainly if they paraded about in society this way they’d see no end to the persecution, but here, in this little sanctuary they’d built for themselves, Dani couldn’t find a single unhappy person. She found a few pouty lips and a couple of crybabies, but that was all part of it. She looked up away from her phone into the real world for a moment, and scanned the store she was in. An exhausted mother dragged her child through the store looking for a snack to placate them, a dead eyed clerk stared more at the clock than their work, and it didn’t take long to find more minor miseries in the world around her. It did make her long for the days that she’d gallivant about, playing with her toys and trying to emulate Roxanne’s growing magical prowess. She gripped the package of diapers tighter. Maybe she was chasing nostalgia, she didn’t bother looking for an explanation anymore. Danielle was going to try this, and if she was going to try this, she was going to do it right. She’d read online that a lot of the community members describe their baby selves, or ‘littles’ in terms of age brackets. Some acted like babbling babies through and through, some like toddlers, some like slightly older kids, so she figured she’d cast a wide net, so to speak.

Roxanne had spent the past few hours doing research on the subject of age regression; there was more to know than she expected. Granted, she didn’t know for a fact that Dani was actually needing this, but she was nothing if not sensitive to potential needs of her baby sister. Despite her naturally overbearing attitude towards Danielle, she elected to play this by ear, prepping herself for what she was sure was going to be an inevitable thing, but waiting for signals from Dani that this was what was really going on. She considered recruiting one of her friends on this, but frankly she didn’t like that Nova girl, and she wasn’t sure if she’d forgiven the other one for her little farmyard mishap. She supposed she could just turn her into something useful if she ends up being a nuisance, so she dialed Chloe, whose number she got from a previous snooping session through Danielle’s phone.

Danielle scooped up the wallet she’d turned another patron of the convenience store into up off the floor and leafed through the money inside. Should be plenty for what she had in mind. She bought the diapers, a bottle, and a couple pacifiers before heading off to a bigger store. Now that she’d set her mind to it, she strode with confidence towards the toy section. She chose a few toys from each age bracket in her mind – a few barbies and accessories, some stuffed animals, and a few sensory toys for babies. She figured she’d home in on what age she’d prefer to be and go from there. Dani thought about buying clothes, but those were easy enough to conjure on their own from what she already had at home. She made her purchases and went to her car, once again struck with that ‘oh god, am I really doing this?’ thought. She pulled out her phone again and went to her messages again, deciding to seek validation from pamperedprincess121 this time, unable to shake the feeling as easily as before.

‘Hey I went to the store and bought… stuff? I feel like if this is for me, I’d feel something like – excitement for baby stuff or whatever, but I just feel ridiculous. Is that normal?’

As expected, her response asked Dani more questions than it outright answered.

‘Normal isn’t really what we’re here for y’know? What I can tell you is that the feeling of like – shame is something most of us have felt. That like, internal idea that you shouldn’t do this or somehow aren’t allowed to. That its wrong. But you’re an adult – you’re in control of your life, and it doesn’t hurt anyone. So just let go of those ideas. There’s no should or shouldn’t, just what does and doesn’t make you happy baby’

It was… surprisingly impactful for Dani, reading that message. She wiped her eyes – she was a witch, why was she so worried about what was allowed or weird? Feeling a renewed sense of vigor, cast a spell on the diapers, sizing them up and up, causing them to thicken and, hopefully, fit her. After that was done, she sped home.

Chloe was sat across from Roxanne at a quaint little café just down the road from the little suburb they lived in. Chloe looked like a mouse in the presence of a lion the way she fidgeted and nervously glanced about as Roxanne fixed her with an intense, level gaze. Having run out of places on the plate to scoot her food, Chloe swallowed and broke the tension with her squeaky voice.

“So… What was it you wanted to talk about?”

“You know Danielle very well.” Roxanne replied, more of a statement than a question.

“Oh! Yes… yes, we’re very good friends.” She assured quickly.

“Then you’d know if something was… amiss with her. You’d notice?” Roxanne continued her vague interrogation.

“I’d like to think so, yes…” Chloe trailed off, as if trying to think about something, “Oh! That reminds me, she acted super weird just the other day,” she mused, “Totally spaced out and ran away when I asked her about it.”

“Maybe out of internalized societal shame…?” Roxanne murmured to herself, quoting one of the articles she’d read on the subject.

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“See? Like that – Dani was just like that!” Chloe pouted

Roxanne wordlessly left, feeling as though she gained some confirmation on Danielle’s needs. She entered her car, wondering how to broach the subject with her in a way that wouldn’t send her running off. That would have to wait a little longer though – she was late getting back to work!

Danielle snuck her way inside, letting out a breath of relief when she realized Roxy was still gone. She brought her shopping bags upstairs and unloaded her goodies on the bed, organized by age group. She pondered what to start with, or how to actually go about… being a kid again? She got glimpses of it during this here and there – that esoteric feeling of safety and nostalgia, but it fled as quick as it arrived with no clear indicator of what brought it on. Intentionally summoning it would be tricky. She supposed she could cast a spell to try and make herself literally a kid again, but that felt disingenuous, risky, and honestly not exactly what she was looking for. She shimmied out of her jeans and let her undies fall down to the bedroom floor. Go big or go home, right? She tore the package of diapers open and pulled one out. It was… huge. She actually thought she might’ve overdone it on her expansion spell, but upon laying it down and sitting herself on it like she’d seen to do when diapering oneself, it looked like it might fit. It was harder than the posts made it seem, and she could see why babies needed someone to tape them up. After a hard fought battle, she found herself laying on the floor of her bedroom with an unfamiliar bulk between her legs. It was plush and warm – she definitely could see why people found these comfy, but she still wasn’t sure about using them. Whatever, she didn’t have to if she didn’t wanna, she reminded herself. She moved to stand, pausing from the crinkling erupting from her new garments. Getting up took a little more effort too, but it was kind of fun strutting around with such obviously babyish underwear and listening to the crinkling. It elicited a little chuckle from Dani. She didn’t think she was ready for any of the other things she’d bought, but she’d dipped her toe in the ABDL waters, and it was pleasant so far – as a secret activity that she’d tell no one.

So enraptured was she with her new diaper and the mixture of comfort and heart pounding excitement it caused that she did not hear the front door open and shut. Roxanne was home, and she’d taken a trip to the store herself…
